The Cove Retreat Upstairs Oceanfront Apartment

This unique property is absolute oceanfront. It has the main residence and two private fully self contained apartments. Our friendly managers Jan and Steve live onsite with their little dog Charlie. The spacious one bedroom apartment is upstairs. The bedroom has stunning views with ensuite and spa. Pets are very welcome but we ask that they are not left unattended. We offer doggie sitting at very reasonable rates and provide pet friendly ideas. Our relaxing outside areas all overlook the ocean.

The house was a good size for 7 people. (mum/dad & 5 boys 16-21) We did not feel like we were on top of each other. Nice size backyard, which alot of cricket was played. The fire pit was well used for the 7 days we were there @ night. Ample space to park two cars and a double jet ski trailer. The beach was only a 5 minute walk from the property. The property also caters for a dog. We brought our dog with us, a chihuahua. The backyard is fully fenced. Close drive to launch our jet ski's. They had all amenities that we needed. I highly recommend this property for a larger group. Thank you so much we had a FANTASTIC time.

We had the most amazing long weekend here! We were welcomed warmly by Carolyn who talked us through everything there was to know about the house and even made some awesome recommendations of things to do in the area. The house was exactly as we expected and pristine which is a huge bonus for me. We couldn’t have been happier with our stay! Very family friendly and walking distance to the beach. Thank you so much for having us stay xx

We had a truly wonderful family holiday at Burrum Heads. Adam was an excellent host, making sure we had everything we needed, and even though he lives on the property, we barely knew he was there. We hosted a large family Christmas lunch on the large covered deck with ease. The sea breezes kept the place us cool all day. The kitchen was perfectly adequate for preparing all the food. Within walking distance of everything, we recommend this lovely, character home to anyone seeking an authentic, coastal holiday in Queensland.
