Michael was a fabulous host - very helpful, responsive and accommodating. The location is so peaceful and the accommodation itself is well-equipped and stylish. It is off-grid but still offered little luxuries which we appreciated. I particularly liked the cookware and kitchen amenities - we cooked every night for a family of 4 and the place didn't lack anything in that regard. The bbq, woodfire hot tub and fire pit were the highlights of the accommodation. Thank you Michael - we would love to book your place again in the future!

Our stay at this lakefront cabin was amazing! The peaceful setting and beautiful views made it the perfect spot to unwind. We especially loved having direct access to the lake—it was such a treat to go kayaking in the calm morning water and spend afternoons fishing. The house was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The host was friendly and responsive, which made everything easy. If you're looking for a quiet retreat with great outdoor activities and stunning lake views, this place is a gem. We’re already looking forward to coming back. Only thing i would think might be an upgrade for this cabin would be if they can upgrade the insuite door. Overall, a lovely and memorable stay .

I recently stayed here for the Easter long weekend, and it exceeded expectations. The cabin offered stunning views of the surrounding vineyards and rolling hills, especially at sunset, which felt straight out of a postcard. The cabin itself was cozy, clean, and thoughtfully designed for couples. From the plush bed to the warm lighting and decor, every detail added to the relaxed and romantic vibe. Will definitely come back!

Antonina was a lovely host, who responded straight away to any questions we had. The home was just as described very beautiful with lovely surroundings. We felt so relaxed in this beautiful private surroundings. Would definitely recommend and we will hopefully be coming back in Easter.

From the moment you arrive and take in the beautiful surroundings you won’t want to leave. Our stay at The Lantern was an amazing experience to immerse yourself in nature, reconnect and reset.See kangaroos in the early mornings and enjoy beautiful fires at sunset up on the wilderness cocktail bar taking in the wonderful views and listening to the peaceful sounds of nature. this place was absolutely stunning! the entire area was well kept and was so beautiful. the place had unique amenities, such as a bread machine and many complimentary items. the host was very responsive, kind and informative and gave good recommendations for the area. the spa was lovely, and was the highlight of the stay. 10/10 would recommend this place !

Jessica was super friendly and easy to communicate with! The place was perfect for what I needed and an easy walk to the beach with my dog. The lane access is a little bit creepy at night for women travelling solo but as soon as I stepped into the property, I felt really safe and secure. Thank you so much for having us! We really loved our stay.

Carol's site is very peaceful in the middle of nature. The DayDreamer - our accomodation - was the perfect set up for 2 families with many kids and 2 dogs! A lot of space outside to play as the campsites were not occupied during our stay ;) Very relaxing! Also plenty to do short drives away from 10 to 30 min (beach, horse ridding, treetops, even go karting near Newcastle!!) ; plenty to keep everyone busy. If your thing is eating / coffeeing out, there may be other better suited options but it was perfect for us! Thanks.

Great, quiet location and comfortable house. Nicely renovated bathroom and kitchen. No laundry though. The kids loved playing in the yard and exploring. We saw a wombat, kangaroos and kookaburra. The birds were lovely to wake up to in the morning and the fireplace was beautiful to relax in front of.

Definitely up there as one of the best Airbnbs we have stayed in. Spotless and private space and an easy five minute drive to either Ettalong or Umina Beach. It was an incredibly well designed space, from the pocket doors to small tables next to power points to hold your devices, cereals and barbecue condiments available in the kitchen. The space was incredibly private with no line of visibility into the little self-contained flat. Would love to stay here again!

great views and very peaceful , we loved our stay here , the only things we'd improve would be the shower which took ages to get the water warm and little pressure with only a shower curtain which didn't really stop water covering the bathroom floor , the other would be a longer jetty because when the tides out your literally stuck in the mud and unable to leave the property for 4- 6 hours depending on the tide height. Despite these issues we'd definitely stay again and Nicky was a great host .

This Lakeside cabin locate right in front of Lake Macquarie is beyond relaxing and very welcoming. Waking up in the morning to a view of the lake, with all the fauna out and about is truly refreshing. Would recommend for any couple wanting to spend some quality time together. If you want to adventure there is plenty to visit.

We had a wonderful stay in Katherine's beautiful villa , although we didn't sadly meet Katherine her mother, Janice ,was on hand to help us with anything ....even very kindly offering to shop for us as we didn't have a car . The location is perfect ,the villa is very private and so quiet a good nights sleep is guaranteed...plus the beds are extremely comfortable. Its a 10 minute walk to the beach and only about another 5 minutes on to the main shops . We are really looking forward to a return visit !

Such a lovely amazing stay at Green Acres! Ellie and Andrew welcomed us so warmly and the space was incredibly clean, stylish and left with thoughtful touches. So special! Honey and Sunny the horses were so cute and we enjoyed having Alfie around. Definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a homey private place to stay with wonderful hosts.

I loved staying here. One of the best quaint airbnbs I’ve stayed in for a while. Nice personal touches you can tell the hosts enjoy offering this space. I booked an extra day, felt right at home. Could easily stay a week. Would 100% come back.

A fantastic stay in a rustic cabin. Mackerel Beach is a stunning spot, and this cabin makes the most of it with an incredible upper deck offering breathtaking views—not to mention what might be the best outdoor shower I’ve ever experienced! The perfect escape from the city to unwind and explore the simple things — cooking, bush trails, walks and swimming. We took our two young boys who loved it (they were also absolutely fine making the journey up to the cabin).

The loft villa was absolutely fantastic. Everything I had imagined and more. The view was amazing, quiet and peaceful, dozens of Wallabies right out the front at sunrise and on sunset. Highly recommended for a romantic weekend away in a fantastic location.

Dianne was a wonderful host, very helpful, quick to respond and kind. Her space is beautiful and homely, the gardens are magical and the location is highly convenient! I highly recommend this place and I’ll likely come to stay again in the future.

Neat little granny flat, beautifully clean and welcoming. 5mins walk to beach and another 5mins to shops. Ben and Freya very responsive in communications. A great few days.
