Family-friendly holiday rentals in Lake Hartwell

We had an amazing New Year's stay at this Airbnb! The house was wonderful, and the host went above and beyond to ensure we had a great time. We lost our mobile phone while getting on the kayak, and the host's neighbors were incredibly helpful in retrieving it from the water. They were friendly and easy to talk to, making our experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommend this place. Thanks a lot Steve and Ted.

Gorgeous mountain retreat is a perfect way to describe this property. I found everything in the description of this property to be true. In my opinion Karla’s description was very humble and we found the property to be much better than expected. Entire family celebrated my father’s 90th birthday, and found the house plenty spacious for all of us. With full living space on the main level and downstairs we never felt crowded.The house was immaculate and very well stocked with items that were above and beyond any other property I’ve ever stayed in right down to the firewood. Directions were easy to follow and communication was always done in a timely fashion. If you want to relax, do nothing, enjoy the views this is the place for you. If you want to be active, go hiking, play golf, tennis, etc. this is the place for you. If you want to grill out and watch football with the gang, this place is for you. So if you have a large group, and you are looking for a mountain getaway, I recommend that you stop looking and book this property NOW!!

I absolutely enjoyed staying at Linda’s place. Especially because of the grand piano. The bed was really comfortable and the home was lovely! I definitely want to go back.

Randall's house is perfect for groups with six bedrooms and several couches. Two living room areas, a dining room and fully stocked kitchen. The property is a little older, but has great charm and an even better view! We will definitely be back when we head up for our next North GA trip!

Had a great time in this quiet cabin and it is super close to a lot of hiking trails. The host was over and beyond helpful and made our stay super comfortable.

This house was fantastic! more spacious than the pictures led on. Nice layout, shades, and curtains on all windows, and tissues in the bathroom, which is not always expected, wonderful amenities. The shower pressure is fantastic. We were able to bring our dogs the fenced in yard is secure. Feels like home. Real glassware and great kids amenities! They had a fantastic guidebook, which was very helpful. We fell in love with Greenville. We will definitely be back and will hopefully be staying here! I cannot recommend it enough.

Absolutely loved this place. The location, the size and layout of the house worked perfectly for our family. The little town of Lakemont is adorable. Loved it all! Looking forward to going back.

We had an amazing stay! Matthew is a great host! Super helpful and always there for us, ready to help with anything we need!! The apartment was clean, cozy, and inviting! It felt like home! Kitchen was fully equipped! Thank you for all the thoughtful treats, board games and the lovely tea! The bedrooms were super comfy, too! The location couldn’t be better—just a short walk to the city center! Plus, it was a treat to catch up on classic shows like Little House on the Prairie—such a nostalgic bonus! We can’t wait to come back!!! Huge thanks again for everything!

Loved this neat hole in the wall! Never stayed in a loft like this, but was very impressed. Beautiful room over looking Main Street thru big windows, the chandelier was beautiful over the bed. Romantic, charming, unique place. The bathroom was unique and everything well decorated. Full kitchen, conversation piece walls, and the bed was so comfortable. I could go on. Fantastic spot near neat restaurants and local attractions. Very close to waterfalls, hiking, historical locations. We stayed for Valentine's and would definitely recommend.

Very clean and appropriately priced, close to downtown and very close to some nice restaurant.

This was a charming retreat in a beautiful area with easy access to lots of outdoor adventure. The space is just as cozy and comfortable to spend a day inside by the fireplace🙂 Be sure to plan ahead for trips to black rock Mountain State Park Tallulah Gorge the city of Clayton and much more.

The duplex was well appointed and cozy for our quick weekend mother/daughter getaway. Very easy to walk to downtown Clarkesville and a short drive to Helen. Great stay!

This AirBnB was perfect. I booked this with 6 of my friends to attend the Clemson homecoming game and we had a lovely time. Diana is extremely nice and friendly, and even provided some breakfast treats for us in the kitchen when we arrived. Her home is lovely and peaceful, we had no issues or disturbances the whole time we stayed. You will not regret booking with this amazing host! Thank you Diana!!!

Wow! What an awesome home! Natalie was so accommodating and quick to respond! When we arrived, we were surprised at how much bigger the house was in person! The kitchen and amazing screened in porch is where we spent the majority of our time! The beautiful Lake Jocassee Is only about 40 mins away and definitely worth the drive! Thank you so much Natalie!!! We hope to be back for another friendcation next year!!!

Jason was very proactive and responsive. Location is removed but still extremely close to all of Seneca’s offerings. Had fun at the pool.

We had a fantastic stay at Hunter's place in Clayton, Georgia! Hunter was incredibly responsive, always quick to communicate, and went above and beyond to accommodate our needs.
