Holiday rentals with lake access in Lake Gaston

We spend Thanksgiving week at Andrew's place. It had a well stocked kitchen for all of our Thanksgiving cooking needs. The house was clean and had everything we needed. There was plenty to do outside, enough water vessels for everyone, peaceful surroundings and beautiful sunsets. So grateful for a great stay for my whole family!

We loved our stay in Lake Gaston. The house was beautiful and we loved the covered dock - since we had several periods of rain. Joseph was very responsive with any questions. It was a perfect house for two families. We would definitely stay there again!

Had a great stay at their place and it housed me and my friends very comfortably with great views! They were effectively communicative with any needs we had.

Anna’s house was breathtaking - pictures don’t do it justice! Everything was immaculate. The entire house was spotless and the accommodations were first class. In fact, we loved the bedding so much that we asked Anna for a link to purchase the items for our own home! The property is gorgeous and incredibly serene. We will absolutely go back - this was a standout trip!

This was our second year at Toes in the Water. Our family has voted to stay there next year as well. For us , every aspect is perfect. It’s a stunning view, a gorgeous home that is open and clean. The kitchen is central and so we could all be together even though we might be doing different things. Kelly and Corey are so nice to work with. Very responsive and friendly. We all wished we were staying for a week😊

Alan's place was amazing my family enjoyed the covered porch and the view of the lake the kitchen was well stocked with every appliance you may ever need we enjoyed our time there we will book again in the summer

Michael’s place was exactly as advertised and had everything we needed. It was very clean and in a beautiful location. Check in and check out were very easy. We would definitely stay here again!

We loved our stay, agree with others that the photos don't do it justice. The view of the water through the trees from the lounge and balcony was so calming and we loved sitting ontop of the boat house right on the waters edge. We saw turtles, fish, beavers, fire Flys and birds all on the property. Great space for families, lots of shade for summer and our toddlers loved playing with the garden hose and roasting marshmellows on the fire. Air conditioning worked well, shower pressure was great and the kitchen had all the things we needed. Host was friendly and communicated well. Also super close to the shady shack which had a wonderful pontoon boat hire next door.

We really enjoyed our weekend at Cypress Cove cottage. Spectacular lake view and peaceful setting. The home was comfortable and very clean. Beth has thought of all the extras to make for a great stay.

Comfy beds decent pillows. Quite small but cozy. The included breakfast at the restaurant is nice.

We were looking for a peaceful get away and this was perfect for us! We hope to stay here again in the summer time.

Thank you, Kristen! This was a wonderful getaway for our family! We lucked into amazing weather for late December/early January, so were able to spend hours on the lake every single day. Kristen and Chris were kind enough to ensure we had enough kayaks/canoe (plus life vests) for our whole gang to participate and we had a blast. We literally had the entire lake to ourselves--except for a blue heron, a few cranes, and lots of "sea birds" plus a few rather large jumping fish! We were initially sad that the fireplace in the great room was not usable, but were delighted by the beautiful fire feature on the screened-in porch as well as the firepit in the backyard. We spent a perfect evening making s'mores under the most beautiful blanket of stars! And our only boy even went in for a nighttime swim to start the New Year :0 We're used to expecting a property to be much smaller than photos would have you believe, but this one seemed even larger than we expected--clean and pretty! Loved it!

This was the perfect spot for a weekend getaway! Margo was extremely helpful and kind, accommodating early check in and then late check out when we had some car troubles. The property is beautiful and serene. We loved reading in the sunroom, waking up to the amazing view of the lake, and relaxing in the hot tub. The house is filled with little personal touches, including an amazing book about the original renovation of the home! I cannot wait to book this airbnb again!

The location was warm and cozy. it was located down a private road and surrounded by a beautiful scenery of trees. The lake added a to the picturesque landscape. The host preparations to make us feel snug with extra blankets and pillows was a great touch. I hope to stay here again!
