Thank you for an incredible stay! We had an amazing weekend in Iceland and will surely be coming back. The hosts were so friendly and flexible and I highly recommend their beautiful property!

Extremely well stocked with supplies and all sorts of gadgets and home comforts. Christmas decorations and a small gift for each of the children along with a bottle and chocolates were such a thoughtful and nice touch as we were staying over Christmas Day. Just bear in mind it’s a tourist attraction so if you don’t lock the door you may get an unexpected visitor. We really enjoyed our stay. Lots of character and very homely.

This place is absolutely amazing. The best part was the fact you can see the northern lights clearly from the hot tub (weather permitting of course!) Katrin was very helpful and contacted us regarding the weather warning we had during our stay to make sure we were okay and had everything we needed. Check in was very quick and easy, and the instructions given to find the cabin were very clear and easy to follow. When we arrived, the cabin was filled with essential items and all the utensils you would need, including logs for the fire. The location is perfect, about 20 mins from the centre and 30 from the blue lagoon and sky lagoon. We highly recommend this place and we hope to visit again one day. 5+ stars!

20+ years of traveling all over the world, staying in epic places like a private pool villa in the jungle of Bali to a gorgeous flat with a patio overlooking the duomo in Florence- This place. THIS PLACE.. was the best place I have ever stayed in the coolest place ever. If you're traveling to Iceland, you already know how epic the island is, so I'll save you the raving there- but this Airbnb is so gorgeous and perfectly sorted. No joke- my wife and I have been trying to find the builder so we can get our own somewhere. Federica's comms were perfect and the place had everything we needed. The cherry on top was seeing the Northern Lights both nights we were there. Could not recommend this place higher. Would give it 10 stars if possible.

Signy's place was a wonderful place to stay as a base to sightsee the Golden Circle and Southern Coast. The home was very comfortable, clean, elegant, and well equipped. The scenery was so beautiful and we were able to view the northern lights!

Alfa and Finnur were very friendly and helpful, the best hosts!!! The house is lovely and cozy. Perfect for our family! The hot tub was the perfect temperature and so relaxing. I sincerely hope this place is available for our next visit!!!

My partner and I loved staying at Brekka Retreat, the views are magnificent across the Fjord, it was incredible to watch the snow storms creep in. The Hot tub was amazing to sit in at night and look up to the stars ⭐️ The hosts were proactive in telling us about bad weather and driving conditions, we really appreciated the advice from a local! We can’t wait to come back in the spring/summer.

What a perfect location to get away from it all! There’s a lovely waterfall within 15 minute walk from the house, and an amazing bakery just around the corner from the Greenhouse (food hall) We were fortunate to have a lot of snow on day 3 of our trip making this location even more beautiful. Would recommend staying here to anyone visiting Iceland.

Perfect location and affordable, right in the heart of Reykjavik, next to the tall Lutheran church that is viewable from the entire city, making it easy to get back to if you find yourself lost. Very responsive host with simple instructions. Know that the bathroom is very small.

A wonderful cabin in a beautifully quiet and remote location. A short drive to many of the main attractions of the Golden Circle, as well as Selfoss town which had lots of great food options. We drove to Reykjavik a couple of times which took about an hour. We frequently used the hot tub during the cold nights to stargaze. We also used the fireplace every night which made the place even more cosy. Lots of board games, books, a dart board and great tv system for those rainy days or evenings in. Daniel was a great host with plenty of recommendations and quick response for any questions. Everything was as described and it was perfect for us as a young couple, but especially for families or small groups with all the amenities it provided. I would highly recommend staying here.
