Cabin holiday rentals in Lake Arenal

Just wow!! We loved every minute of our stay in this beautiful little jungle house. Elias was also super helpful and gave us great recommendations. Thank you for everything! We will be back.

We stayed in one of the cabanas. It was very clean, comfortable and private. Limited kitchen space, but it worked very nicely for my wife and I. Bedroom/ living room is very large with plenty of space. We did not feel cramped at all. The cabana is surrounded by rain forest plants and trees. Small patio out front is great for breakfast or evening drinks. Pool and hot tub are just steps away. The rest of the property grounds were fabulous. Covered Outdoor areas for lounging, massage, viewing movies. There’s even an outdoor gym area. I worked out while the were tropical birds flying and chirping all around. The best part though, was there were 3 toed sloths living in the trees on the property. A mother with a young one was hanging out in the tree right across the pool. I sat and are breakfast every morning and watched them.

A beautiful, safe, spacious and cozy cabin on the outskirts of Fortuna (10 min by car) The environment is spectacular, many birds of all kinds, vegetation, peace... The quality - price ratio is excellent! I'll be back!

Absolutely stunning place! We stayed a few short days and didn’t want to leave. Our host was extremely friendly and responsive. If we ever get a chance to come back to Costa Rica, we will definitely be staying here again. Pura vida!

Our hosts were so responsive, very sweet and knowledgeable and gave fantastic recommendations. after a week on the beach and in the hot sun, lounging on the hammocks or in the hot tub watching the clouds go through the mountains with all the wildlife running around was breathtaking especially the little kinkajou running around in the trees. My daughter was obsessed with the geckos and even befriended one and named him Geico! If you are looking for a peaceful, restful spot within a beautiful drive of so many excursions and the best local Costa Rican classic food just down the hill, with the friendliest locals, I would highly recommend this location. It is secluded but has all the amenities including a beautiful kitchen and outdoor living space

We travel a lot and I have o say that Mauricio’s cabin the forest has been my favorite. It was cozy and relaxing with a beautiful hammock by the rushing water and a gorgeous pool that you could heat. The sounds of nature were everywhere and you were close to all of Lafortuna but felt like you were all alone. Mauricio was a wonderful host and even helped us pull our car out of the mud we got stuck in. He was responsive, his place has everything you need and is beautiful. I would 100% go back again and highly recommend it to everyone visiting Lafortuna!

Diamante Holistic House was incredible, from the moment we got there we were stunned. The ultra high ceilings and spacious cabin with all amenities were great. The large jacuzzi tub was much needed to soak and unwind after our numerous hikes. After struggling against the wind to get the outside firepit lit we were able to relax and watch the stars. The house has a rechargeable flashlight that we used to do our own private night walk on the trails located on resort. We were also given fresh herbs and lettuce from Cory at the greenhouse. In the morning we were surrounded by a ridiculous amount of coatis which made the stay that much more memorable. Gloriana also saved us with a prompt message after we forgot something in the house. Book this right away if you can!

This is our 5th or 6th time that visited this place and our level of satisfaction is always the same: 100%. The location, the house, the surroundings, the great host…this place is 100% recommended!!! Is a real jewel inside the heart of Monteverde!!!

We spent 3 nights at Melania's place. The place was perfect and perfectly matched the description. Very clean and well-equipped with a kingsize bed. Close to the activities we did. Melania provided us with a few places. Our favorite soda was La Hormiga. we went to eat the 3 nights of our stay. We took advantage of the free hot springs also recommended by Melania. a real joy. Thank you very much for a lovely stay

Beautiful cabins in a natural and peaceful environment. Great hosts, that are kind, thoughtful and willing to help with anything. Im so happy I stayed at this heaven on earth. Everything was so clean and fresh when I arrived. Comfortable beds and pleasant space. Thank you guys for a lovely stay!

The cabin was great. Very secluded and peaceful with trails behind to go walking on. Sylvia was amazing, she had great local recommendations and helped us book some tours. We enjoyed our time here!

Unique treehouse stay nestled in the woods, but still very close to downtown La Fortuna; we were able to walk to shops and restaurants every night!

We loved staying at Diego's house! It is quite spacious and surrounded by nature. The terraces around the house are super nice, with several options for sitting and enjoying the scenery. The kitchen is well equipped and all spotlessly clean. We liked the area, quieter than La Fortuna and equal with good access to all the places that can be visited. We would love to come back!

Me and my friend had an amazing stay! We felt right at home. I've never been in such a clean Airbnb! It had everything we needed, kitchen, bathroom, it was perfect! I recommend 100% if you don't want to take your head and feel at home: come to Cristina's. Plus we saw animals, including an oppossum!

Chico (sp?) and Cecilia are very friendly and welcoming. On our second night, after a long day of hiking the volcano in the rain, they brought us some delicious agua dulce, queso, plantains, and crema. We highly enjoyed and recommend this peaceful cabin.

EL SOL is extraordinarily beautiful! It's hard to describe how special it is- the gorgeous natural surroundings, the wonderful food, the unique and refreshing pool and the beautiful mountains surrounding the area. I could have stayed a long time and regret that our stay was so short. Thank you Susanne and Javier for such a wonderful time and the attention and love you have put into EL SOL! We will be back!

Have an awesome moment there, very good place for families. Jacuzzi is just lovely and private. Has everything you need plus a lot of groceries stores very near the apartment. I will definitely come back!

This was a fun place to stay, very close to town and all the activities monteverde has to offer. But David has also set up quite an impressive place to see the local birds by leaving fruit out for them. He is quite a knowledgeable guide to the different bird species and also very helpful with local recommendations.

We enjoyed every moment of our stay at la Cabaña Rústica! The hosts were very friendly, helpful and responsive, offering plenty local recommendations. We also saw many beautiful birds on the property, including a Toucan and Montezuma Oropendola. 10/10 recommend staying here!
