Wonderful cottage in a great location — Enjoyed hikes at sleeping bear and restaurants downtown TC within a short drive. Spacious and clean with excellent hosts - Perfect spot for an up north getaway!

Larissa's listing was the perfect home base for our "Siblings Ski Trip" up north! We were thankful to find this pet-friendly stay last minute, because it was a wonderful stay for all of us! The large, fenced in backyard gave us peace of mind when our pup went out to explore or play & us humans really enjoyed the hot tub & fireplace after long days skiing! Highly recommend this cozy & peaceful location instead of right in Boyne Falls or at the resorts- bonus that the Walloon Lake restaurants were the BEST & only 2 min away! Thanks again for sharing your place w/ us to make memories together & spend precious quality time doing what we love in the snow!

The cabin was soo cute and cozy. It had everything we needed for our stay. We ended each of our nights in the hot tub which was just perfect. The area was so pretty and peaceful. We enjoyed a great dinner in downtown Traverse City that was recommended by Michelle. We would definitely love to visit again.

The location was great, the decor was perfect for a North woods cabin, the driveway was clear of snow and no complaints. Really enjoyed the hot tub, I've been disappointed before by warm tubs, this was excellent.

We had a great time with family, 4 couples. The house was clean and very comfortable. The beds were cozy. Beautiful, private space right on the trails. Andreia was friendly. Very easy to check in and out. Highly recommend.

We absolutely love this cabin and the other two cabins on the property. It’s beautifully up to date, clean and has everything you need. The beds are comfortable and the hot tubs are the best. Great location with everything you need. We grilled in the snow over New Years and loved it. Lauren has always been responsive and friendly. Can’t wait to come back! Thank you Lauren and Tom!!

Wonderful stay in a winter wonderland! Was surprised upon arrival with birthday decorations and a welcome basket, which made me feel right at home. Clean, cozy, warm fire, spacious hot tub, and beautiful lake views. Highly recommend.

Beautiful house in a very nice neighborhood. Would love to see it in the summer. I will definitely be back for another ice fishing trip. Very good communication. We were update frequently and would have been able to have any questions answered if needed. I would highly recommend staying here.

We absolutely loved our stay here! We love the location and used this as a home base to explore Sleeping Bear Dunes, Empire, Leland, Traverse City and Boyne Mountain. The house was exactly what we needed! Everything was wonderful and they had everything we could need. Any time we had a question she responded quickly. I would absolutely recommend staying here and believe we will be back!

This air bnb was beautiful! It’s very private and on lots of land. My dogs loved running around!! There is a hiking trail right down the street that you can actually get to from the backyard. The host was very responsible and flexible, as we got snowed in and they offered us another night at a reduced price. There are hunters nearby so make sure to be safe with your dogs and wear the reflective jackets they provide if you’re exploring.

Jake's place was clean and comfortable. it is a good spot to stay if you're exploring Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore and the surrounding attractions.

This was our first repeat Airbnb experience, we enjoyed Laurie’s place that much! It’s peaceful and the lake is lovely, no matter the time of year. Close to Short’s brewing and Schuss mountain, not far from Boyne, it’s quiet but still well located to have a great up north adventure. It’s also well stocked with toys and books, which is a great plus for our family! And Laurie is super responsive and kind. We might stay a third time!

Great spot, exactly what we needed! It’s small and cozy, in a quiet area 10-15 minutes drive from anything you need. Smooth check in, clean spot, had whatever amenities you could think of. One thing: If you are taller than me (6’4) you may have some trouble with the bathroom. I made it work but were I an inch taller I wouldn’t have been able to fit for certain activities 😂

We had a lovely winter weekend away at the Skip Cottage. The home was extremely clean and updated, and we appreciated the extras like coffee drinks, oatmeal, condiments, and toiletries. The view of Lake Michigan was beautiful and the home is conveniently located near Leelanau State Park, downtown Northport, Suttons Bay, and not too far from Traverse City. Despite being below freezing outside, the house was warm and cozy. Would 10/10 recommend!

Our car broke down on our way up North so we got to the house very late with no food or water because stores were closed and luckily this house had everything we needed and was so clean and cozy! We enjoyed every room and played lots of games and built a fire everyday. The guidebook was also so helpful! We enjoyed this house so much and would love to come back and stay at Darcy’s again. One of my favorite stays, thank you so much!!

Great little cottage. Loved the location and the proximity to town. Everything we needed. Will definitely return hopefully when it isn’t cold and rainy so I can enjoy the beautiful screened porch and nice yard/firepit.

Great place to unwind and relax! Ellsworth Lake is such a beautiful spot and holds many memories for our family.
