Charming property at the best of the heart of Nieul, gite on the side of the garden courtyard located on the front of the property of the hosts (the pool is in the back garden), protected from the street (not very busy) by high walls and an electric gate that allows parking in this courtyard (nevertheless, easy parking outside). I'm glad our little cocker spaniel dog was able to enjoy the garden thanks to the owners' prior permission. Very comfortable and well-equipped cottage (only small downside: the wifi is very weak in the room but very decent elsewhere). A very good place in a beautiful property and very welcoming hosts.

We spent 2 very pleasant days at Nathalie's place. The hosts we were sharing the cottage with were friendly: it made us feel comfortable in our first experience of shared accommodation.

Natalie was very available from the beginning, when I booked the room I asked a lot of specific questions to know which space was shared with who and what the room looked like. She responded in detail in the next hour Then, on the first day on site, she lent us bikes which allowed us to move around the island without worries. We were in high season and there were no bikes to rent in the area on the first day, so it was a much appreciated service, especially since the house is in a place a little far from the city center, so big bike rental shops. The common room is very nice, spacious and comfortable, well suited for all hosts. Everything was clean, the toilet kit was there and without fail. Really nothing to complain about, if I were to stay in the island of Oléron again, I would not hesitate to come back!

We were very well hosted, in this quiet and peaceful campsite. Our furnished tent was comfortable, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Very warm welcome, Eric and Claudine are remarkably kind. We can feel that our comfort is important to them. We particularly enjoyed the access to the games room for children and were able to enjoy the pool every day.

The accommodation is great, clean, well-equipped and pleasant. The exterior is also excellent. It is ideally located 800m from the fleet port which is very cute. I recommend this listing for a stay on the island. However, we found the check-in time 4pm a little late and the cleaning fee 100 euros high.

We had a great stay! The room was clean and there was everything we needed in the apartment. Danielle gave us good instructions and responded quickly to our questions. Very happy with this airbnb!! Close to downtown and supermarket/bakery/etc. Nice place!!

We had a very pleasant stay in Valerie's house in early September. Her impeccable house is very very well equipped as expected in the description of her property. For us, it is ideally placed for cycling around the Ile d 'Oléron. We did not meet Valerie directly but she kindly contacted us several days before. It was her friend France who kindly welcomed us and gave us the keys. We recommend Valerie's house 100%!

Lovely home, well equipped in a nice area a short drive to the beaches of Fouras. Great for animal lovers - there is a Chicken, Rabbit, Guinea Pig and friendly cat at the house with a lot of personality. Easy to feed while you are there and the chicken rewards with fresh eggs. Large garden with furniture and a great place as a base for a holiday.

"Small" very recent villa, actually very spacious for 2 guests, large kitchen stay, large bedroom / large bed and good bed (NB: only one bedroom, the second is closed). Modern luxury equipment. Well located not far from the center of Fontenay, in a quiet residential area. The hosts live nearby and are very kind.

Very good stay at Catherine's. The mobile home is small but very functional. The environment is quiet and very enjoyable. The fenced garden is a real advantage with a 4 year old child. The pools available are also a plus and the people in the residential park are all very nice.

We were 2 couples of bikers who stayed in this place in early October. We enjoyed the secure underground parking. The renovated cottage is ideally located, clean, well-equipped and tastefully decorated. Our host Celine is at the top, very welcoming, available and flexible for check-in and checkout times. We recommend!

We had a pleasant stay. Very welcoming hosts. The accommodation is very functional. We enjoyed the outdoors. Very well located, just next to the aquatic area, as well as the heart of the holiday village where we find some small shops. The harbor is a few minutes walk away. The village is wooded which is nice too. We recommend it.

We rented the villa for 8 people. , 2 people slept on the sofa bed only there were sheets only for the 2 double beds and the 2 single beds. Apart from this the night spent in the accommodation was pleasant

A particularly beautiful place on a beautiful island! Vincent's house is comfortable, cozy and equipped with every comfort. The beds are of good quality and the garden spacious. The house is ideally located on the island. The island itself is a delight. Beautiful beaches everywhere (also a few minutes walk from the house), beautiful villages and restaurants. We also enjoyed the bike paths, which will take you across the entire island. The contact with Vincent and his family was friendly, quick and efficient. In short, absolutely recommended! We'd love to come back.

We had a great time at Anne-Marie and Christian's place. We were two families, four children and two dogs in total and we can say that the accommodation as well as the amenities were perfect for everyone. The setting is quiet and very green. The kids spent their time outside. There are lots of fun tours to do with the kids in the area and Anne-Marie and her daughter have lots of great recommendations. Finally, the welcome is very warm. We'll definitely be back!
