Lake house holiday rentals in LaFollette

The house was wonderful. The house was spotless and had everything we needed. Our family loved how peaceful it was.

Really enjoyed our stay. The price and value matches the home. It may be a little dated but it’s clean, inviting, and fairly priced. We were in the area for some SXS riding and the location allowed us to stage at different trailheads throughout the Windrock park each day. The kids enjoyed fishing from the property. Also, TONS of parking. We had 4 full size vehicles, 3 trailers, and 3 SXS’s. Very close to all the restaurants and amenities of Caryville. It was a terrific fit for budget, space, and convenience!

Our stay here was wonderful. This place was perfect for our family and Joann is always very responsive. Definitely a good deal for the price…it was clean comfortable and many nice touches especially the snack basket which came in handy. We will definitely stay here again!

A very nice house for our party of six. Comfortable living area and beds. Great deck and river view although we didn't spend much time out there. Extra large table for game playing, which we did in late evenings when we returned from Big Ears festival.

The home was everything that was advertised. We understood that the lake would be down this time of year so we were not concerned about that. We enjoyed the fire pit out back and everything in the home was clean and working. We really had a great time celebrating Thanksgiving here and will be looking into coming back in the warmer months when we can enjoy the lake!

Overall, everything worked out well for our short stay. The biggest surprise, as well as what we appreciated the most, was how well stocked the kitchen was with cooking supplies. We cook a lot when we stay at vacation rentals and appreciate having a lot of pots, pans, utensils, etc... The house was incredibly clean, they obviously have a good cleaning service. The house is in a small, quiet neighborhood and is easily accessible from I-75; no long, winding back roads like other homes further down the lake. The kids had a blast playing games in the lower level. Just for awareness: The upstairs has an odd layout, with a bathroom "barn door" that when open, blocks the hallway to one of the other bedrooms. Most the mattresses did not get any complaints, but the one I was on upstairs was incredibly lumpy and had sunken down and was not comfortable. It doesn't show up in the pictures, but the driveway is super steep.

We had a wonderful stay for 12. There was plenty of room inside and out for us to all enjoy. We did a lot of cooking, the kitchen was so well stocked! Would highly recommend!

The house was clean and tidy. We only stayed one night but it served our needs. Teresa was very friendly and helpful even after a long days work.

We had a wonderful stay at the Lake House. Home was squeaky clean and had everything we needed for a wonderful stay in Knoxville. The kitchen had basic cooking supplies including spices. They even provided supplies to make smores on the fire pit. We used the Traeger grill and made smoked ribs. We did not have time to take advantage of the boat but fully enjoyed all the toys and games. We had the pleasure of meeting the owner, who was there to do some yard work. Highly recommend this home for anyone needed some space to entertain family and friends.

Our group had a fabulous time at the lake home. Jerry was an excellent host who gave us clear instructions on getting to the house and checked in with us during our stay. My kids were thrilled with all the fun activities in the downstairs space and wanted to be on the lake with the canoe and pedal boat as much as possible (despite the cold temps). Bedrooms were comfortable, and we loved cooking in the spacious kitchen. Easy drive to different hiking trails and into Knoxville. We hope to return in the warmer months to be able to utilize the amazing outdoor kitchen.

Mary Beth was wonderful to work with. She accommodated our last minute reservation for us due to weather driving us farther south. The place was beautiful, secure and safe. We will definitely be back!

This is our second stay at the lake house and it absolutely exceeded our expectations (again). Last year we had all sunny weather, but this year we had a little rain during the weekend which actually allowed us to take even better advantage of the house. From watching the rain from the peaceful back porch to the many board games inside, we had plenty to do. The location is private (we saw 2 people walk down the road one time) and the access to the lake cannot be beat. Katie is easily the best Airbnb host I’ve had the pleasure to work with - very proactive in communication and responsive to any questions. I could go on and on, but just trust me when I say, this house is an absolute gem.

I am a senior and came with my daughter and a few of her friends for a festival in Knoxville. Villa Melissa, our house, was perfect for our group. The house was spacious, clean and was supplied with anything you could need, plus. Melissa's kitchen was better supplied than mine is at home. Her home is in a nice quiet area, right across from a golf course, a short distance from downtown Knoxville. Our favorite area was the large screened in porch where we spent most of our time, day or night. It was especially nice when it rained. There is a large sofa and table with chairs, perfect for hanging out. It's quiet, and she has a number of bird feeders, so between the birds and squirrels, you get a nice relaxing outdoor place the whole family can enjoy. Melissa made the whole process super easy and was very welcoming. She checked up on us, and made the check out process very simple. We would love to rebook for next year.

Excellent location! Close to town so easy to get things when needed. Krista is an awesome host, very friendly and gave perfect instructions on entry amd how to leave the house. Highly recommend this house, already looking at dates for next year!

We took my Mother Inlaw for her 80th birthday to Norris Lake and found this beautiful condo/house listed on the site. It was a newer build and absolutely beautiful inside and decorated very nicely. The beds were comfy and plenty of space and the view sitting on the deck was very peaceful of Norris Lake. The kitchen is stocked very well as well as a coffee/beverage cart. Megan is an amazing host and was very responsive on every question that I had and responded quickly too. I would highly recommend to stay at this place and definitely worth every penny. One suggestion as we did not have a boat but you can rent a boat at the marina as well as there are golf cart rentals too at another location for rental. Thank you Megan for hosting us in your beautiful home. We definitely will be back.

I wanted to sing the song "Over the river and through the woods" as we drove along following our GPS to this hilly location through farm valleys and jutting peninsulas. Finally it was BREATHTAKING as we topped a ridge and saw our grandchildren in the driveway who were literally jumping up and down with excitement. What a beautiful lake view! The kiddos were ready for the code to get in and explore since they had already seen the kayaks, the water equipment, the fire pit and the lovely deck overlooking the lake. To say they were even happier when they saw the game room downstairs and the bunk bed room....well, they were. There was plenty of room for the 8 of us with the two king suites, and the 3 bedrooms downstairs (one of which contained those nice bunk beds.). The breeze from the high location off the lake was just right for outdoor dining with lots of patio furnishings. We enjoyed s'mores around the fire pit (brought our own bamboo sticks) after dark. Lovely!

We absolutely loved this place for our adult friend get away. Plenty of extra room if we have the chance to return with kiddos. The house was well stocked with everything you could need. Furniture was comfortable and the outside space was great. We spent lots of time out on the patio, around the fire and swimming by the dock when we weren’t boating.

Johnathan is a great host and has a beautiful lake house. I highly recommend staying there. Hopefully, we will go again!
