Loft holiday rentals in La Veleta

this property was perfect for our family. kids loved the pool, it was peaceful and quiet, wifi super fast, the beach was less than 10 minute ride by car. Tulum was like 20 minutes away, although we preferred Akumal west of highway, which felt more authentic. would definitely stay there again.

This location is very convenient, close to the nightlife and restaurants but not loud. The outdoor/open air living room with hammock, and two balconie, is very cool. Great all around experience for the price.

I had an incredible month-long stay at this Airbnb in Tulum’s La Veleta neighborhood. The area is filled with amazing restaurants, all within walking distance. I loved that I could explore the neighborhood entirely on foot—it's very safe and walk-friendly. The experience was everything I hoped for, and I’m already looking forward to coming back soon!

Me and my wife loved the stay at Jose’s apartment. It is located in a lovely gated community, TAO Mexico in Akumal, with the PGA golf course next door. The neighbours were very friendly too, giving advice for restaurants to go to in the area when we said hi. We enjoyed using the kitchen to cook meals and eating at the table on the balcony that has a view of the trees and greenery. The AC and water pressure were great. There were beach towels, snorkels, two outdoor chairs and an umbrella which we used when we went to the beach. Since we stayed ten days, we also used the washing machine and dried clothes on the balcony. We enjoyed going for swims in the shared pool. The communal areas are cleaned daily and are spotless. There is beautiful scenery and wildlife including local birds. This was close to local attractions best visited by car. Akumal bay for snorkelling with turtles, restaurants, cenotes and beaches close by. We highly recommend staying here!

The host Daria was superb. Very communicative. The location is beautiful and calm and peaceful. We had a wonderful stay. A car is necessary to get around to Tulum and Playa del Carmen and all of the exciting activities nearby. The host suggested many pertinent things including activities and restaurants and grocery stores etc.

Came an hour prior to checkin. Ron was there to meet us and let us in. The place is clean. It is located at the end of the strip, but is less than a 5 minute walk to the first restaurant. Host sent a guide via email prior to our stay. It was very helpful for things to do in the area. Pack light, there is a spiral staircase to get to the top floor. Good experience and great host. The accommodation was superb we really appreciated the location despite the access road which is under construction it makes authentic adventurous we loved it. The choice of furniture and decoration is of very good taste a big plus on the bed which is gigantic and comfortable. Host Daniel is very available and answers any questions you may have The surveillance staff were lovely and helpful. Accommodation with a big potential affordable price I recommend!

Excellent stay! This place is a total gem. It is masterfully decorated and is as good as it gets for Tulum.

Great Complex with great amenities! Host was always super responsive and helpful! Pictures match the description perfectly. The only downside I would say would be just the level of humidity the unit seems to keep. Of course being in the Jungle this is a hard thing to combat. Perhaps a small dehumidifier in the unit would go a long way. There were times in the day when the air felt comfortably dry in the unit but also times the moisture was so much the floors were slippery and any linen in the room felt damp. Aside from that it is an absolute Gem of a stay with two small restaurants on property, great pools, and a convenience store. The main tulum beach beach was just a 15 minute drive away. The entire area is still very much under a lot of construction with unfinished roads and pot holes so cautious driving is a must. We had a great time and would highly recommend a visit!

The place was horrible don’t even think about booking here…… ….Just kidding, it’s an absolutely Fkn gem. The pool was life changing. The layout is magical. All around beautiful spot in a great area. I hope to book again and hopefully it’s available next time I need it. Perhaps I should have left a negative review so it would be available when I need it next 🤣

The suit is amazing for resting and it’s exactly as the pictures. It’s 10 minutes by car to Zamna which is handy if you’re going to the festivals.

Perfect spot for a stay in Tulum, very centrally located. This unit is in the back so you don't get noise from the street, but it's just quick walk from a lot of restaurants and bars. Would stay again!

nice modern 4 story building. Ground floor unit, so there are mosquitoes on the patio (use sliding patio screen doors to keep mosquitoes out). Gustavo was very responsive and immediately took care of all my requests (very good English). English speaking receptionist during the day until 5 pm, after that there may or may not be a security guard. Safe and quiet location. Good wifi for Netflix and zoom video calls. Kitchen fully equipped with basics. Clean bathroom (low water pressure in the shower, but OK). AC OK. Major negative is the strong smell of mould in the apartment (keeping patio doors open with screen doors on to keep mosquitos out helps a bit). 6km to the nearest public beach Playa Mirador with 100% free access and free parking on the side of the road (in Google maps search for “public beach access”). Super AKI 5km away. La Poblana Frutta e Verdura store 2km away. Few restaurants 6 blocks away on C. 7 Sur street. Car, scooter or a bicycle is a must to get around Tulum

The suite is very comfortable. Everything was clean and tidy. Very close to the building we find delicious food, bicycle rental and mini market. I recommend this place 100%. Carla is a very friendly host.

Great spot if you’re staying in Tulum. In a gated residential area which was nice. The upstairs outdoor area and pool were great! The host and the people managing the property were always responsive and super helpful!

I have been many times in Tulum, but this was the best Airbnb I ever lived in. It was a beautiful and spacious garden, with a lot of plants, a great pool (much nicer than on the fotos.) And just two other apartments. So you have a lot og space for yourself to make yoga or cook outside. Also the property is very close to La Veleta, but stil quiet and surrounded by the jungle. Wherever you look, it is green. And the birds wake you up in the morning. Alejandro is a nice host, very polite and friendly. I will stay longer till June.

Amazing place and great host!

Fantastic stay at this very private and beautiful AirBnb. The apartment itself was as described in the pictures and very clean on arrival. Sebastian was always prompt in communication. The rooftop pool is stunning with the most amazing views. If you don’t have a car it can be pretty challenging to arrive to the complex due to the road, if driving isn’t an option you can use InDrive which we did. All in all a great stay.

Nice apartment and lovely amenities. Worth every penny! I was traveling alone and was somewhat skeptical about the area at the start but having explored a bit I felt very safe. Is something difficult to get around. Says it's 7-8 min to the beach and city center but it's by car. Far to walk, and some of the areas might be a bit uncomfortable to walk in alone and one gets a bit of hanging of taxis, but this has nothing to do with the host. The host was nice and responded quickly. A for and great value for money by choosing this place❤️
