Family-friendly holiday rentals in La Genevraye

We really loved our stay, and felt immediately at home - we were two families with three kids between us, aged 5, 2 and 1. The kids loved the toys and the garden was totally enclosed and safe for them to play in. We were visiting for a bouldering trip, and were able to get where we needed to go with the car - Petit Bois was 8 mins away, but nowhere was much more than 30 mins. We also loved having the local woods and park to keep the kids and a dog entertained on wetter days. Anne-Marie met us on arrival and was really welcoming, explaining what we needed to know, and responding to any questions that came up during our stay. Thank you!

We had a great time at Sabrina and Serge's place. Everything was as described, and the listing in a residential area allowed us to have a great weekend with friends. The gite floor, with its many games and toys, is a children's paradise. Hosts are responsive and have plenty of activities. One regret, our schedule and our children, didn't allow us to enjoy the hot tub! Another time! Definitely recommend!

Very nice place, very nice terrace, only small worries ... he spanked very hot in the rooms, and the proximity to the owners and another rental house on the same place. But the host is very nice and the place is beautiful!

The house of happiness! Ideal for a weekend with friends or family. Close to the forest, facing the river, hot tub and sauna, the dream!

Lovely home. Perfect to escape the noise and fumes of the city. With that be conscious that you will need to travel a fair 15 minutes to do basic food shopping. If you are looking to explore local towns, be prepared to drive up to an hour. However if you are looking to wind down in one spot, it’s great! Great lawn for garden games, access to pool is safe for kids with an alarm, jacuzzi was awesome to fill in the cooler days and evenings. Also the tv and Pool table was a source of activities. We loved the stay here.

The house is very cozy and in a very good location due to immediate proximity to the forest. Hiking, bouldering and nature are minutes away. Communication with the hosts was very friendly, quick and straightforward. Glad to come back!

With 10 adults, we stayed during the Olympic Games in the big house (8 people) and the cottage ( 2 people). The house is spacious enough and has all the comforts. The garden around it is wonderful. Anne responds quickly to questions, she is helpful. Due to the humid ,clammy weather, it got a little damp inside. With the opening of all the windows, this was so fixed. Annette and Peter

Beautiful house and perfect for a large group trip. We loved staying here and there was plenty of space for a group of 14 adults on a climbing holiday. Great location, walking distance from the forest and the bakery!! Thank you, we hope to return

The apartment is simple, but well equipped, well kept, and well located. Although the bedroom overlooks the street, the noise is not very noticeable, with access to a small garden. Great value for the price

We had a great time! Accommodation is as described, the garden is beautiful and the view is wonderful. As a bonus 3 adorable and cuddly cats. The location is superb, next to pretty hiking trails, easily accessible by bus. Finally, Soisic is a very welcoming host, who puts you at ease upon arrival and even shares the things to do in the area. We look forward to returning soon.

Very high ceilings make the space very spacious and light. Brilliant fully enclosed back garden was great for our dog. Easy walk into Milly la Foret, which has some beautiful restaurants (we go to Les Coqs every time we stay in the town and can highly recommend it). Great access to the climbing areas.

Great time in the little house. We were warmly welcomed and were able to take full advantage of the outdoors, swimming pool and barbecue. Thank you for your flexibility.

We had the most amazing time at Christian’s place in Barbizon! The house is perfect: modern, charming, comfortable. It was spotless when we arrived. Christian was a great host - the recommendation of a tennis coach and the flexibility for check in and check out were particularly helpful. We hope we’ll come back soon!!

Juliette's accommodation is perfect for spending a few days with friends or family. It is very comfortable, cozy and very clean. The kitchen is very well equipped. The garden is equipped for children (outdoor games). Juliette is a pleasant host and responsive to your wishes or questions. We had a lovely New Year's Eve and a small group stay in a house previously decorated by our host.

Our stay at Laure and Frédéric's place was great. The farmhouse is nice and the location was very quiet. Perfect for breathing in transit!

I went with a small group of friends to this beautiful house, which perfectly met our expectations. Upstream, the exchanges with the owner were fluid and responsive and I thank him again. Then the house was perfectly in line with the descriptions and photos. The kitchen is very well-equipped and it is very pleasant to cook there with others. The house is spacious, the rooms comfortable. and what was especially nice was the availability of the owner to reassure me when I had a question, he was very responsive to every request which made the arrival very easy, very serene.
