Villa holiday rentals in La Alpujarra

We had the most incredible time at this Villa. This is a beautiful place ...it was just perfect. We travelled as a group of 7 adults ranging from grandparents to grown up children with partners, and it suited us perfectly. So much space internally and in the lovely gardens. Well equipped with many home comforts. Martin as a host very was responsive and Michelle who looks after the property was welcoming and helpful . She was so friendly and gave us various recommendations and advice, as well as being very prompt sorting a few minor queries we had. Thank you Michelle. :-) 100% recommended, we would love to return.

We enjoyed Airbnb very much. We felt like at home. Super quiet area. You even heard the sea rushing. The communication with Sara the manager and Louis had been great. Up to the main house, it is not ideal for many stairs for the elderly and infants. The pool was also awesome. Every Wednesday it was cleaned and checked by Louis. The view of the coto bay is just great. There are no words you have to experience it yourself. The house also has many balconies and always with views of the bay. We enjoyed it to the fullest and very much hope to be able to book this great house again. Definitely recommended.

We had a lovely stay at Casa Ambar - we would definitely choose it again. Great friendly & helpful communication with Ambar from the moment we booked. The villa was gorgeous, spotlessly clean, with a well stocked kitchen, comfy beds & a great pool, patio area and comfy terrace for wine with super sea views! Would highly recommend for a stay in beautiful Nerja.

We visited the property with our 3 kids in their 20s and their partners. It was our first holiday where we all were together, and I must say the house was outstanding. Beautiful views, fantastic pool, lots of space, and a nice walk into all the lovely beach bars and restaurants in La Herradura. We’ve been going to La Herradura for almost 20 years now, and if you want to enjoy your holiday, then we’d thoroughly recommend a stay at this fantastic property. P.s. Caroline's house is perfect for family vacations. Wonderful view (mountains and ocean) well equiped, quiet... my children were sad to leave !

A few friends and I came to Matthew’s place to celebrate our birthday. We had a magical time. Only downside was wish we could have stayed longer. The house was not only STUNNING (somehow truly better than the photos) but it was homey, well stocked, and very comfortable. We had a blast exploring the local towns and Matthew’s recommendations were helpful and very thorough. You can tell they enjoy hosting. He and the house manager were also very responsive and kind. Definitely recommend staying for at least 6 or 7 days as 4 was not nearly long enough.

We had a great summer vacation. The villa is as described and the sea view is magnificent. The environment is very quiet, and I appreciated the high-speed fiber optic internet and the wifi relayed in all the rooms of the house. Only one point to clarify: we could not use the garage because the driveway to get there is too steep with a hairpin bend and my Tesla was too heavy and too big to access it. The neighbor told me that you need a raised and light 4x4, and that's what he usually rents at the airport. For the rest, everything is in order and Esperanza is an exceptionally welcoming, kind, attentive and proactive host. We were able to see the August 15 fireworks from the terrace, the view was exceptional! And my children loved watching the shooting stars lying on the sun loungers by the pool!

Villa Flores is spectacular. A large and spacious house, where we could enjoy a few days of relaxation. Totally quiet and away from everything. The pool, terrace and spectacular views. The only drawback is access to the Villa: a road of about 2.5 km with two lanes but only one car fits (except at some points), very winding and without guardrails. Something to keep in mind if the driver or passengers are not very daring. The second time you drive through, you get the hang of it. Despite this, the Villa is totally worth it. To go back to.

The accommodation is spectacular… loaded with details and curious and restored things. The children also enjoyed a lot for the amount of space and researching all the rooms in the house… We had to leave the house earlier than planned because the light went out in a phase of the village and just caught us… we would have loved to be able to enjoy a little more the last day. We will return for sure

This compound is fabulous for a large group stay. We made great use of the large kitchen and outdoor cooking and dining. The cooling pool is greatly appreciated. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful stay at this unique architectural gem in Spain. The house itself is an experience — thoughtfully designed, full of character, and with beautiful attention to detail. The view is stunning, especially in the morning when the sun fills the space with warmth and light. We loved the heated pool, which was perfect for both relaxing and play, and on calm days, it was easy to make our way down to the sea for a refreshing swim. The pictures don't do this place justice, it is such a lovely villa that ticked all our boxes as a big family on holiday together! The outdoor space is perfect, the grass around the pool is great when you have young children and don't have to worry about them running around on slippery tiles when wet. It was also amazing for the evenings when we barbequed and ate in, watching the sunset was a lovely way to end the day. The location is ideal, although if you have people with mobility issues then recommend a car as the walk to the beach and restaurants is down a very steep hill. Estefania was the perfect host, very responsive and helped us out if we had any issues or questions.

The stay at Villa Terracota was an ideal option, the house is very spacious and has all kinds of games that make the stay very pleasant. The common areas, rooms, and outdoor areas are amazing. Great care of the details, we would definitely repeat.

The house of Julia is amazing…spacious, comfortable, it has everything to prepare delicious meals, very tasty outdoor space for coexistence, although it was cold we enjoyed a lot! Antônio and his team helped us with everything that was needed along with Julia who was mindful of everything! We'll be back for sure!

A splendid classic home in the Spanish hills. We loved our stay here. Peaceful and private. We picked some oranges and nuts in the nearby trees. Enjoyed the padel. Neighbor nick sold us some yum olive oil. Francis or Jen always helpful on text messages. We hope to come back.

The villa was stunning, albeit tucked away in the hills above Gualchos. Comprehensive instructions were provided to find the villa and the check in/out process was brilliant. Gualchos itself it a quiet town and most restaurants are located at Castell de Ferro less than 10km downhill. We were on a cycling holiday so it does mean climbing around 500m back up to the villa along a nice quiet road with good views and decent road surface. Overall, it was a lovely experience and would definitely recommend this villa to stay.

Lovely home with great kitchen. Everything was extremely clean and a home from home. The only 2 things (if I had to pick any) are, more beach towels as a stock and secondly, it was extremely hot when we visited and I was surprised there weren't any weighted parasols, as these would've been handy given the intense heat. The villa is 15 mins from a very well stocked supermarket and a further 15 to Burriana Beach, whilst Nerja itself is 30 minutes. Sally was a very responsive and helpful host

The stay at Villa Fuente Victoria was great. This is a super spacious and cozy palace house. It is provided with all the details to make guests feel at home. The exteriors are a wonder and it's a great place to enjoy with children. Antonio has been a host of 10, very easy to communicate with him and his father a junior, even left us wine and some khakis. In short, we will repeat in summer to try the pool area!
