Thank you for a great weekend away! A very beautiful property, walking distance to town. had everything we needed for a lovely weekend getaway.

We loved staying at The Nissen. Deb gave us clear check-in instructions and we were welcomed by a spotless, clean home. The house felt much larger in person and was in a great location, just a short walk from awesome spots such as the mill (vintage clothing bizarre), the bridge hotel (cool, shady pub), black bird cafe (good coffee) and more. Deb was a fabulously attentive host who provided us with a flexible check-out and lovely local recommendations. All of this plus the fact that our whippet was able to chill out under the air con in 38 degree heat (keep the aircon on all day was another suggestion of Deb), made it an ideal place for us to stay. We will 100% stay at The Nissen again when we come back to Castlemaine. Thanks for having us Deb x Mia

Very pleasant stay. Thank you Deb for sharing your gorgeous place with us. The place is very well stocked, close to many things and Hepburn bathhouse. I requested for a thorough clean of the house due to my daughter’s allergy issues. She walked in and immediately approved of how clean the house is. So thank you very much for making sure our stay is comfortable.

This is a special place - an old barn remodelled as an art installation really, comfortable beds, fabulous kitchen (sharp knives even and Illy coffee) and great bathrooms...plus kangaroos in the north paddock (also at the nearby racecourse), a view of Hanging Rock and a short drive to the excellent Hanging Rock vineyard...

A fantastic property with really helpful hosts. We dealt with Adam mostly but he was very responsive and went out of his way to help us when there was a leak in the water tank. The house was clean, easy to get into and is a beautiful space.

We had a great stay! The property was comfortable and well-equipped, making it ideal for our group’s work trip. The host was attentive and thoughtful, even providing extra towels, which was incredibly helpful. The location was convenient, and the amenities made our stay enjoyable and stress-free. We really appreciated the hospitality and the little touches that made us feel welcome. Would definitely recommend to others and consider staying again!

Thanks to Kerri for our wonderful stay over the weekend at Henrietta's cottage. We wanted a place with privacy that was cosy in the winter. It was also a comfortable place with all the amenities we needed. We loved the bacon and egg breakfast materials provided too. We even went for a bushwalk despite it pouring with rain :) We definitely recommend this place to others!

Max and Carmel were great hosts - great to meet you too, Max. Check-in was easy and very well communicated throughout. The place has a fully enclosed front and back yard to keep our little pup safe. The place was very clean and tidy, comfy bed and great outdoor areas front and back. The house was surprisingly cool. Even on hot 30+ degrees days, we didn't need the air-conditioning on. There's also a fireplace for the colder months. Some great walks close by and also next door to Hepburn Pizza which do great pizzas and just a short walk from a couple of other restaurants. I would recommend to future guests.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Bungee. Annie and Josef were always willing to attend to our needs. The accomodation was pristine with beautiful furnishings. Added touches for our comfort was very appreciated. We were able to walk into town, walk to the lake and surrounds with ease. A truly memorable experience. We hope to stay with Annie and Josef again in the future.

We were so thrilled with the calm and charm of this beautiful cottage. Cannot wait to stay again. THe garden was an absolute delight. Will defintely use the bikes next time when not blistering hot weather. Adie & Michael were welcoming and informative of their region.

Wow! What a cozy unit, it was great for a long weekend away. Beautiful lounge room with the option is also sit outside and enjoy the morning or afternoon sunshine

A beautiful and peaceful place to stay and very close to the town as well!

We had an absolutely wonderful time here! The hosts are so lovely and introduced themselves to us, we felt right at home! There were so many things provided that we weren’t expecting which was a lovely surprise! They have a wonderful book on recommendations for things in the area which was so helpful. The place itself was lovely, clean and exactly like the photos! The bathroom was beautiful and the beds/ couch was very comfy. Would stay here again and recommend my friends if they are in the area!

This unit was in an excellent position for visiting Ballarat. It was close to the city and near restaurants, shops and attractions. It was also in a very quiet area. Highly recommended.

This was one of the nicest apartments we have stayed in!! It was beautifully furnished and decorated and truly felt like a home away from home! I would recommend this fabulous apartment over any accomodation in Ballarat. 10/10 hands down!

Renee and Izzy,s place is perfect for a relaxing getaway in the beautiful Daylesford area , the accommodation is in a quiet area within easy walking distance from centre of town. The pool is a bonus on a hot day😁
