Holiday rentals with breakfast in Kumejima, Shimajiri District

Ryota is very friendly and it has many musical instruments to try and also make music with other guests. Ryota is a good point of contact for restaurants tips or excursions. Ryota's pancakes have been delicious too.

The host's home is very comfortable and tidy, there is a large garden outside, blooming with a variety of beautiful flowers, the environment is beautiful and comfortable, when I arrived at the homestay, the owner warmly greeted me, detailed the various facilities of the home, whether it was the guest room, bathroom and the toilet facilities are very warm feeling, full of home feeling, the host's breakfast is very informative, it is the most delicious food I had in Okinawa, that is the taste of mother's house. This is very impressive, I look forward to staying again next time

Hidemi is very friendly lady. She and family stayed on first level and my family stayed on second level with fully equipped kitchen, laundry balcony, bathroom and bedroom. No issue on privacy. Knowing we have an early flight to catch, Hidemi is very kind to prepare a tasty takeaway breakfast and coffee for us.

Convenient transportation, you can walk to Jiaoji Castle and Ceramic Street. You can get to Zanpa Cape by car, the station is very close, and the supermarket is within walking distance.There is a free bicycle, there is a kitchen where you can cook, it is a music travel homestay, the owner is a music enthusiast, and you can play the three lines of music for free.The owner is willing to help, make a different breakfast every day, the station is far from the station when you arrive and leave, the owner drove a car free pick up, and also helped me buy the third line.

It was such a nice home stay experience. We very much enjoyed staying this rosegarden house. Talking with Etsuko and her family was fun and precious time. They are all so friendly and the services were full of kindness. Also the breakfast was delicious, we all loved it! We hope to see them again and will definitely choose to stay here for next time to join the Okinawa marathon. 素晴らしい時間をありがとうございました❤️

Wonderful host. 3 of us felt warmly welcome by our host , Eiko-san. We were running late on first night coz the goggle maps led us elsewhere. She even helped to manoeuvre the vehicle from a narrow slip road back to her place. Had 2 sumptuous dinners & 2 breakfasts carefully prepped by Eiko-san. We felt totally at home with her. There’s Cookie, the 16yo doggie who hangs around the dining area and her lovely grand daughter who happens to be around for summer. We relied on google translate but that language is never a hindrance if you wish to know more about her life etc. highly recommended!

Kaz's home was the perfect spot for our party of 8. We felt right at home and could walk to the train station or Kokusaidoori for lots of eating and shopping options. The neighborhood was quiet and beautiful and Kaz was an excellent host. When we return to Okinawa we will definitely check Kaz's home first for availability!

We spent over a week with Francesco and it was a great stay. Francesco knows the island well and had good advice where to do some snorkeling and surfing. His surf and snorkeling equipment is in a good condition. When we needed some help with renting a car, he was very encouraging and helped us a lot. Totally recommended if you want to spent your days in Okinawa with some water activities. Cheers Hannah & Paul

Kaz’s place will always be our minshuku when we come to Naha! Great location for walking or Yui rail or bus or parking a rented car. Kaz puts a great B for Breakfast and a comfortable B for Bed in an AirBnB stay. Extremely good value, hosting, and Okinawan style experience.

Akika and Ryos home was all I dreamed of, classic design and immaculately appointed- with a personal flare of details. An all to short week with exquisite hosts. Their information, advice and explanations while serving delicious breakfast everyday exceeded all my expectations. This natural and pure delight in hosting, their Okinawan dedication and personal attendance to my every need, left me breathless. Ryo played Sansin and sung an ancient, solemn anthem- he even brought me to his class of 20 students. Akika made my opera heart bleed by performing an aria. She also catered for my gluten-free diet, she even bought GF soy sauce that she remembered to bring to our Hamazushi happening. Their dog Hana is the most peaceful I ever met. Heartbreaking Himeyuri museum, and intimate conversations - I could ramble on. I left Okinawa with GF soy sauce and a lunch box. And quite a portion of Ryukyu kingdom. You will want to go there.

The mattress and comforter were very, very comfortable and I slept well. Check-in instructions were clear.Breakfast was very plentiful! Conveniently located, going to the airport by bus is within 30minutes, and a short walk to Namikami Shrine. The hoster is very nice, and the cat is very cute.

This guesthouse was absolutely fantastic! The hosts were incredibly warm and kind, making me feel right at home. Every morning, they prepared an amazing breakfast with great vegan options, which I really appreciated. The room was cozy, private, and had everything I needed. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful, perfect for a relaxing stay. Definitely a 5-star Airbnb—highly recommend!
