My wife and I planned a weekend at Joel and Viv’s cabin with our two dogs and had a great time! Beautiful home, warm fireplace and surrounded by nature. The house is fully stocked with everything you need and the downstairs is cozy for a movie night, especially in the winter. Very relaxing weekend if you want to get away from the city. Joel and Viv were super responsive and everything went smoothly.

We had an amazing stay at this cozy cabin in the woods! The property is absolutely beautiful, offering a perfect blend of seclusion and easy access. The hot tub was a fantastic way to unwind after a day of exploring. Communication with the host was seamless, making check-in and any questions a breeze. Highly recommend for a relaxing getaway!

I had a wonderful stay at this cozy cabin in Windham, NY for two nights and three days. The location was perfect—close to the ski resorts, yet tucked away in a peaceful, woodsy setting. It was the ideal spot to relax and unwind. The cabin itself was clean, well-maintained, and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. One of the highlights was the quiet atmosphere, making it easy to disconnect and enjoy nature. The host was fantastic—very responsive and easy to communicate with, which made the entire experience smooth and stress-free. Overall, I highly recommend this cabin for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway near Windham’s ski resorts. I’d definitely love to stay here again!

We had a lovely 4-night stay at Meng & Andrew's sweet cabin. The weather was frigid, but we stayed warm by the wood burning stove & during our regular sauna sessions. We braved the 18 degree temps & took a quick dip in the hot tub, followed by a quick jog to the sauna. The cabin is beautifully furnished & well-appointed. We spent most of our time relaxing & hanging out in the cabin, but ventured out for dinner in town & nearby Livingston Manor & Narrowsburg on Meng & Andrew's fabulous recommendations. They were very helpful & quick to respond if we needed anything. We'd love to return every season!

Great little weekend getaway. Super snowy weekend so wasn’t able to do much around town but the space was nice and cozy to relax in! Sam was super responsive and helped with anything we needed. Would definitely come back!

We had a great time spending a few days in the mountains. Gorgeous surroundings and almost entirely private. We weren’t able to use the hot tub due to the rain but we’ll be back during better weather. The wood fired stove was amazing and really lent to the coziness of the cabin. Highly recommended for those more towards the “glamping” style of vacationing.

I’ve rented many homes over the years and loved everything about this house! Felt like we stayed at a friends house. Super comfortable to lounge around in with warm decor, great vibes. Maybe ten cozy throw blankets to choose from. Well stocked kitchen! It’s rare to find an assortment of 20 spices on hand, quality cookware, SHARP KNIVES, four ways to make coffee, crock pot, good cutting boards, etc all with little wear and tear so it truly didn’t feel like a rental. We stayed on a cold and snowy holiday weekend and had an indoor fire burning around the clock. Such a class touch to have a wood carrier harness thing to make easy work of wood runs. Hot tub on a snowy night after a day of skiing was another highlight. Listening to records in their entirety was a new and enjoyable experience. You can also Bluetooth to that player and throw on a cozy playlist. Highly recommend this property

We loved our stay! The cabin exceeded our expectations - it was perfectly cozy and had so many thoughtful details. The construction is amazing and felt really special. It did snow while we stayed and we weren't able to fully drive up the driveway (as warned!) but we parked at the end of the driveway and walked up. Not a big deal for us but something to keep in mind for anyone with accessibility needs. We stayed quite warm the whole time with the stove and heating system, and had plenty of hot water for the tub. Would highly recommend this for a getaway!

I loved staying in this home and hope to rent it again. It is just a few minutes from town and nestled in the woods. The place is beautifully decorated and has everything you need.

Amazing place - perfect for romantic getaway just 2 hours from the city. The place is cute and has all things you need for a night in. They have the cutest alpacas and dogs, make sure to drop by their pen and say hi! The views, both at night and during the day, are amazing and we’d recommend carrying some firewood to light up a bonfire, a setup for which is, right outside the cabin. Cory and Sonia are amazing hosts. Our car got stuck in the snow in their driveway and they personally came and helped us get it out and also made sure to drop us back on the road in the morning. Amazing stay!

My husband and I REALLY enjoyed Jeff & Sharon’s cabin!! It was the perfect place for a 4-day weekend away from home! As soon as we walked through the door, we felt right at home. Everything is described exactly as is and was extremely clean and comfortable. The cabin itself is quaint, but the cathedral ceilings and plenty of windows made it feel spacious. The river out back was so peaceful and exactly what we needed to take a few moments to breathe in the crisp, fresh mountain air. We even took a walk up the road (which was very quiet) and well kept, considering it had recently snowed. Sharon and Jeff were the BEST hosts. I love that they followed up and made sure we were settled in and there if we needed anything. Phoenicia is right around the corner and down NY-28 there are some cute shops, the Phoenicia Diner and Woodstock Brewery. Highly recommend stopping at Bettina’a Cafe in Phoenicia and Maeve’s Cafe for amazing coffee and good eats! We hope to be back very soon!!

We stayed here for a 3 day ski weekend with another couple with our kids and dogs. The location was perfect for skiing at Hunter. 5 minutes away from Hunter, 5 minutes away from the Tops supermarket. Not on a main road which was good for the dogs. The house itself had a nice ambiance, the wood burning fireplace stove in the living room was so nice. There were little touches that made the vibe very nice and cozy. Fully stocked kitchen for cooking. Victoria was very responsive and check in was very easy. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay here again.

We had a fantastic stay at this cabin! The space was spotlessly clean creating a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere. The host was exceptionally friendly and responsive, making sure all our needs were met. Overall, it was a truly enjoyable experience that I would highly recommend.

This property is something that is truly special. Taking the time to unwind and disconnect in such a peaceful surrounding is something I’ll forever be grateful for. Everything is just as perfectly cozy as it looks and as it’s described. This was our 4th stay on the property, we just can’t get enough. We have now stayed in all of Porter and Sara’s listings!! You truly cant go wrong with any of the options.

Cute and cozy cabin! The space was smaller than we realized, but it still worked perfectly for 4 adults, 2 teenagers, and 2 dogs. We loved the open kitchen and the beautiful, spacious yard. It was a very relaxing trip and we enjoyed ourselves thoroughly! The only feedback I have would be to have the sauna cleaned and ready to use for guests - we booked the cabin because of the sauna, but it was very dusty with debris and wood inside that we didn't end up getting to use it. Otherwise, everything else was great and we were happy we booked the home regardless!

Had a great time at the cozy cabin. It's a cabin but still has some nice amenities. Location is somewhat close to road, you can hear occasional cars go by. Still, back by the pond it feels like being away from it all. I had a blast hiking local trails and enjoying the foliage.

We loved our stay at Joe & Barb's place! The cabin is delightful; beautiful surrounds, peaceful and quiet while being just a short drive from the amenities of New Paltz. Joe gave us great tips for nearby hikes, and we enjoyed a tour of the veggie garden (with full credit to Barb the gardener!), and hearing about the sustainability/eco-friendly initiatives of the property. Had an amazing stay at the Diego`s cabin on the river! The host was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and their adorable, friendly dog was a bonus. Winter fishing in the river was an unforgettable experience—absolutely loved it! Highly recommend for a cozy and adventurous getaway.
