Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Kootenay Boundary

This is the second guest suite we’ve stayed in at Faron’s, both equally amazing. This rental was very clean and comfortable. Well-stocked kitchen, comfortable bed, and shower water was hot with good pressure. Nice quiet rural location. Will definitely try to stay at Faron’s again when in Rock Creek.

Cozy place, walkable to town. Great home base for a trip to Rossland.

This house was absolutely perfect for us. A crew of 3 working in christina lake. we could cook, clean up and do laundry. The kitchen and BBQ had everything we needed, and each guy got his own bedroom. Neil was super responsive and accommodating. 10/10

Brian and Sarah went up and beyond hosting us. Brian even came and kept the driveway clean from snow the next day, even though we weren't there. Very kind and highly communicative hosts. The cottage is one of the best airbnbs we ever got to stay, and, the surrounding and its surrounding is like fairy wonderland. We will be revisiting again and again when we are near Rossland/Kootney. We highly recommend Brian/ Sarah place.

Very well equipped unit, had everything you would need to stay long term. Cherise was very accommodating and saved us big time by letting me know about big whites Black Friday sale. Unit was clean and we really appreciated the hot tub after a long day of skiing. Unit was ski/in and out friendly end of Feb. Would definitely recommend!

This townhouse was as advertised and better than expected. The beds were very comfortable, the location was quiet but a short walk to the Village, and there was adequate parking for 2 vehicles. The rental was well stocked with basic necessities including things you might need for cooking, and the welcome basket with bottle of wine was well thought out (a nice selection of snacks and drinks, and hand warmers for those frigid days). There was also a fairly good selection of board games and books. The Wifi worked great. We didn’t watch TV so I can’t comment on what’s available there. We had some teens and they were very happy to discover a video game system in the room with the bunk beds. Stacey’s schedule the weekend we stayed was pretty good, so she was able to be flexible with check in and check out times. Do pay attention to her written directions because Google Maps gets it wrong! She predicted what we would need to know, and responded quickly when we had questions. Would recommend.

This cozy home was a great home base for a west Kootenay ski trip. Had a warm, comfortable interior and all the amenities. Things I liked: kitchen had variety of adult sized coffee mugs, personalized mixed decor throughout, a carport for frost/snow free mornings, good internet, spacious kitchen and the bedrooms are spaced apart by the bathroom and closets (quiet). Would definitely stay again!

The chalet is nicely furnished and quite spacious. Everything was very clean, especially the kitchen, and the King size bed was extremely comfortable. We enjoyed the hot tub and the gas fireplace made the living room very cosy. It snowed heavily on the evening we arrived and Paul came up right away in the morning to clear some snow from the driveway. Both he and Vivian were very responsive hosts and the chalet is lovely. There is a Keurig coffeemaker and there was even coffee on hand. I recommend good snow tires for anyone driving up when snow is in the forecast.

The perfect place for a ski vacation! Sebastian’s place was cozy, very clean, nicely furnished and a big plus was the location and how easy it was to access both the skiing and the shopping right next to the village center. The place did have quite a few sets of stairs to access it, which might be a bit of a problem for those with lots of luggage or tired legs after a long ski day. We would happily come back again next time we are visiting Big White!

Enjoyed my stay. Only one night as I was in town for work I was concerned about where I would stay after seeing reviews of the local hotels and decided to check Airbnb and found Nikola and Wanda’s place. I was very happy to find it and will stay again when I am back in town

Very responsive host, beautiful condo. Our stay was extremely comfortable, mattresses and pillows were great. Best feature is private hot tub. Close location to gondola was appreciated. Heated underground parking was excellent. Honestly couldn’t ask for anything better. Hope to stay there again.

Very quiet, clean , well stocked with everything you might need, a dog above us could be heard padding around during the night. With all the extra charges it was high priced.

We absolutely loved this place (Apartment 7)! Spacious (bigger than photos look), stylish fresh interior, super clean, nice kitchen, cute dishware. Comfy bed, big TV, big bathroom. Nice entryway with room for pack boots, jackets, skis etc. Host was quick to respond, very friendly. And of course the pub being right downstairs is super convenient. We always found good parking even though there was a ton of snow. In other words, this place was perfect for us, a couple, for a week. Highly recommend!

Great spot. Nice sized 2 bedroom apartment. Right across the street from a good pub. Minutes from the ball park and hockey rink. Bit older but very clean with funky furniture and a good TV. Fully stocked kitchen. I will be back!

Awesome ski in ski out condo! Really clean, nice kitchen and big living room area. Restaurants, bars and grocery store right beside the condo! Definatly reccomend this place if you looking to come snowboard at big white!

We stayed here for family day weekend and absolutely loved the place. It was a great place to relax after a day on the slopes. Easy ski in and out access. Close to the village and everything you could ever need. We will definitely stay here again.

Just finished up our ski weekend up at red mountain and had a blast. The accomodation was perfect for what we needed with enough space to relax and enjoy our stay. Close enough to the resort but also quiet and private after we were done on the slopes. Beds were comfy and the hot tub was perfect! Amole space in the garage for a vehicle and our ski gear. All in all an awesome get away, would highly reccomend!

Wonderful vacation at Red Mountain. Sheri's property has great views and feels very comfortable. Everything we need was inside of the unit. Sheri also left lots of information about local events and popular locations. We will definitely be coming back for more ski trips.

The place was very clean, and they provided hot tub towels as well as shower towels! The kitchen was well stocked with pots and frying pans of every size, so it was easy to heat up the prepared meals we brought. There was plenty of cutlery and plates/bowls. The dishwasher was handy to run in the morning! The microwave is a fantastically large size - I really appreciated that! Having access to the hot tub right through the door off the kitchen was great - it was easy to see if it was occupied and felt so good to relax with the family after a day on the slopes. There were only 4 chairs around the table, but there were also 4 bar stools so some of us ate at the raised island. The couch is very comfortable, and we played games sitting around the coffee table using the kitchen chairs as well. My kids (adult and teen) loved playing guitar hero!

Place was perfect for a getaway to big white. Perfect location to everything in the village. Would stay again!
