Family-friendly holiday rentals in Kolonaki, Athens

My family of eight stayed at the residence. Great accommodations, good location and within easy walk to grocery stores and restaurants. Anna (host) was very friendly and very responsive when we needed assistance. The house is multi story with plenty of stairs, but it did have a lift for family members who could not navigate the stairs easily. Overall, it was a great location and house worked well for our family. Highly recommend if in need of a house with multiple bedrooms and bathrooms.

Phenomenal stay!!!! Andreas is by far the first host that deserves the title Super host. Ardreas greeted us upon our arrival, sat us down and gave a full presentation of Athens. The presentation included transportation, restaurants, site seeing locations and of all historical references to all Athens historical and cultural sites. I was impressed and applauded his efforts to make us feel welcome. The apartment was modern, clean and spacious to include the hot tub. The location is five minutes away from the Acropolis and a great neighborhood . If you are visiting Athens Andrea’s apartment is my #1 recommendation to say you will not by disappointed.

I had an incredible stay at Anna’s apartment in Athens! Anna was an amazing host—so helpful, kind, and always quick to respond to any questions or requests. The apartment itself is stunning: spacious, beautifully designed, and equipped with everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. The highlight has to be the breathtaking view of the Acropolis—it’s truly unforgettable! The check-in and check-out process was seamless and stress-free, which made the entire experience even better. We had the best time. Our hosts were so incredible and very kind. They met us right in the plaza of our Acropolis metro stop. The location was incredible. Views from every room and one of our guided tours met right outside of the apartment. The ambiance was everything and thank you to our host for the snacks in the refrigerator. My kids gratefully appreciated it. Highly recommend staying here.

the apartment is in a quiet area but very close to the acropolis, a perfect compromise - central without being in the middle of the mess. Easy to find parking nearby, lots of grocery stores, fruit, vegetables, Bakery, bar. There's a slightly more authentic climate than the more touristy areas, which are still a ten-minute walk away.

I have stayed in countless AirBnB and many of them wonderful. Maria's apartment really felt like a place to live in. Everything in very good condition, easy to find things, no surprises, generous in all ways. Very light, and the host was very helpful yet discreet. I would highly recommend Maria's place for short stays to radiate out from, and for longer ones as well, it's all you'd need. Full five stars.

Great stay as location is unbeatable. The apartment is well situated and walkable to all major attractions. Many restaurants and bars just outside the door. Vanessa was very responsive and took action as needed. A warning note for early and light sleepers, the apartment is right above a few restaurants and bars. It can get a bit loud even when the windows and doors are closed. However, this didn’t bother us or our kids. Highly recommended! Next time in Athens, will gladly come back. From start to finish Veronica was amazing. I was in Athens with my family to run the famous Athens Marathon, which ends in an Olympic stadium near Veronica’s place. She sent me pictures of last year’s Marathon and described how to get there, which we walked back from after the race. Our flight arrived very late after a long delay but Veronica met us and showed us everything we needed to know. There are THREE balconies accessible from the apartment, all very cosy and furnished, but the highlight was the rooftop balcony with an amazing nighttime view of the Acropolis! There is a delicious bakery across the road, and the subway is 10 minutes walk. I’d highly recommend staying there as a base to explore Athens. Veronica made everything easy from start to finish and was so welcoming. Thank you.

This was our first trip to Athens and thanks to Panayiotis we are for sure coming back! The villa is beautiful and perfectly clean, Panayiotis was happy to help with whatever we needed and made several wonderful suggestions. If you are looking to not just see Athens but to also have accommodations in a beautiful and quiet residential neighborhood with any amenities you may need, this is the place for you. Particularly thoughtful was when (before we came) I asked Panayiotis if he had a kettle to make tea with, although he didn't he bought one-just because I asked-how thoughtful is that! That was how the entire stay went-everything was easy and we felt more like guests in his lovely villa! Thank you Panayiotis!!

Everthing Great. The pool was amazong!

An absolutely magnificent place! Hard to imagine that you can find a place like this in a large city! It was a short walk from restaurants, supermarket and the metro. Rooftop pool with great privacy was wonderful on hot days and also swimming at night with the city lights in the background. Rooftop terrace was overlooking the city and with views to Lycabettus hill and nature on the other side. On many evenings we ordered food in and ate at the rooftop terrace. We were a group of six and could not have been more pleased with our stay. Dimitris was very helpful and a great host!

We had a fantastic stay. Use of the pool and rooftop were brilliant in the hot weather. Great location if you want to be somewhere quiet but still in reach of Athens. Lots of good bars and restaurants in walking distance. Really clean apartment, room to sleep 6 although sometimes a fight for the 1 bathroom. Only con was communication at times. We were given 1 key between 6 adults and then when we messaged, we had no response. It was only by bumping into either the host or another member of staff (we think host but if so, georgia did not introduce herself) that we managed to get this. However, very friendly and happily provided another key once tracked down. The office kindly lent a monitor to one of our party who needed to work on one day. Really accommodating and pleasant stay. Highly recommend.

We’ve had a fantastic few days staying at Petros’ apartment. Located within about 30 mins walk to all the main attractions (or 5 mins to metro station if you’re not the walking type!), it’s in a peaceful location, just underneath the viewing area of the highest point in Athens. (If you’re not very mobile this might not be the place for you as there’s a pretty steep climb to get there). All amenities were available including pool towels for the rooftop pool, sunscreen if you forget your own, coffee and most importantly of all, a couple of cold beers and some water in the fridge!! Petros was very helpful - he arranged our transport from the airport even though we landed late at night and really helped us out with a late checkout so we didn’t have to hang around with our luggage! In summary, if you’re heading to Athens and want a nice apartment and a great host, I’d highly recommend this place!

Dimitris's apartment was absolutely amazing. even better than the photos. The terrace was massive and brilliant. we spent time locally at the beach, restaurants and the marina and the tram into the fantastic city of Athens was so easy and flexible to use. You can buy a 5-day ticket at the tram stop for only 8 euros and travel all over Athens area on public transport too. We'll be back!
