The space was even better and more spacious than in the photos. Going skiing requires a car, but it wasn't a problem for us. The home has everything you could need. We stayed with 2 adults and 2 children and a dog. Recommended. We'll be back!

What a lovely stay we had here! The log cabin itself is stunning and beautifully furnished - super cosy! We stayed here in midwinter so we were surrounded by a gorgeous winter wonderland. Excellent location, set back from the road but very close to supermarket and places to organise your outdoor adventures. Very close to Ruka ski resort. Rami’s communication with us was brilliant, we didn’t need to ask him anything as everything was covered.

We stayed in this villa last year and after that we’ve always known we’d come back. Lovely, cosy, homely. There’s everything you need, to relax, to cook, and to enjoy the quiet beautiful wintry surroundings. Make sure that you use the sauna. A real treat after a cold day in the slopes or hiking. And make sure that you have the fire on in the evening. Adds a bit of a romance to your stay and, obviously, makes the villa beautifully warm. Enjoy your stay everyone! We will be back.

It was so wonderful! I had tears in my eyes when we had to leave. It is in the middle of the forest by the lake, wonderful nature and absolute tranquility. There is also a lot to do in the area if you want: for example, we were in Posio near Pentik. A nice shop with cafe. 3km from the property there is also a reindeer farm that also offers food on request. We stayed here once for dinner and once in the afternoon for coffee. In addition, the accommodation has skis with which you can ride over the frozen lake, sleds are also available. It was very clean and tidy. The cleanest Airbnb we've ever had! A small downside for us was that bed linen and towels cost extra and then there was only one large and one small towel per person. If you use the large towel for the sauna, you only have the small one left. If necessary, bring an additional towel from home.

Comfortable cottage, matched the description and just a short distance from Ruka Village.

We were very comfortable for a week, Tania was very helpful, loving, kind, she welcomed us and explained everything to us in detail, she helped us with everything we needed. The house is very clean, very well equipped with everything, the location is very good, we will definitely return.

Comfortable three nights on a ski vacation. The cottage was clean, cozy, and well-equipped. We enjoyed and relaxed. I love it when the ski left the backyard. It was good to go to Oulanka National Park and winter activities. Peace of mind. The grill house in the yard was nice, even though we didn't have time to test it yet. We'd love to come back again. Lotta was always quick to respond.

This place really made our trip very special and Janne and Eini were the kindest hosts I have had at an AirBNB. It was wonderful that they included ski passes; it saved us on private ski lessons, rental equipment, and let us use all the lifts and the gondola to get to the top of the slopes or even just to the new Base Heat and Eat. It was a great location that wasn’t too far from local restaurants but secluded enough to not be in the crowded areas. Having the sauna and fireplace and beautiful house was great to unwind from jet lag of our first couple days or fun filled activities later in the week. We saw the Auroras/Northern Lights twice from the house. Once faintly while we were in the jacuzzi and once from the from yard, completely bright and stretched across the sky. It was truly an unforgettable stay.
