Family-friendly holiday rentals in Kitsap County

Our stay at the Kingston House was beyond wonderful. Nine of us, between the ages of 4 and 62, stayed comfortably for our Christmas week together. We cooked, dined in, made music, took walks, built fairy houses, made beach and quaint town jaunts, played games, enjoyed the hot tub, read parallel, watched holiday movies, and retired to our own spaces for alone time all nestled into this masterfully well-appointed home. Each of us chose one descriptive word for this magical spot - dreamy, enchanted, charmed, restorative, cozy, spacious, and connected. Matt even put up a tree for us! The views, the walking paths, the variety of flora and fauna in addition to the inspiring home itself created a dream vacation for us.

The condo was great in every way for our visit and for our purposes. We especially appreciated the comfortable beds, the well-equipped kitchen, the large dining table (instead of the common, but ridiculous Air BnB bistro table that barely accommodates one person), and the good quality linens. Joyce was a great communicator until we checked-out, then I never heard from her again and was hoping to get a response to my messages. Joyce was able to coach me through the TV and DVD player's connections and was able to troubleshoot from afar. This was impressive! This property won't be available for long as it is being sold. That's too bad as we would love to rent it again in the future. Highly recommend Joyce as a property manager.

Absolutely stunning views of the hood canal, beautiful area and the hosts were super communicative and welcoming. I would highly recommend this place, and am looking forward to visiting again soon!

We had such a fantastic time celebrating with family and close friends. The house was extremely comfortable and the views were incredible! We enjoyed the hot tub and pool. We enjoyed delicious seafood. Made a few visits to local wineries and distilleries! A local dahlia farm too. None of us wanted to leave. Bainbridge is truly a magical place. Thank you Megan for being a wonderful host!

This is a gorgeous location with a wonderful view of the water! Super cozy furniture and high quality finishes. Joyce was super responsive and allowed a very late check in. Very grateful she opened up her home for us and we could not be more grateful it was pet friendly. Highly recommend a weekend getaway here!

James’ house was as advertised with plenty of kitchen supplies, bathroom supplies, etc. He was very responsive to any and all questions and overall we had a great experience. Thanks James!

the view of the Puget Sound from here is breathtaking all hours of the day especially the morning. The owner wad friendly and helpful with all questions I had. 10/10 would come back again.

Bob and Kath are great hosts. They have been friendly, informative and accomodating. The apartment is conveniently located near the Hood Canal Bridge, Port Gamble, and Kingston, as well as only a short drive to Poulsbo and Silverdale. Apartment has everything you need for a short (or long!) stay!!

The cabin is amazing. I went with my wife and two dogs in February for a couple of days. The cabin is very cozy, the wood fireplace heats it up and Joseph provides lots of firewood. The beach is basically all to yourself and it’s steps away from the front door. We walked into town and there is a small grocery store and a couple of restaurants. Very friendly little area. Kitchen has what you need. I can’t wait to go in the summertime.

Such a serene and lovely rustic space! Brita was available and communicative, but not intrusive at all. The views were stunning and the soaking tub was wonderful. Would highly recommend this cabin for a relaxing Vashon Island getaway.

This was always be my favorite Airbnb in equal parts due to the wonderful hosts and the incredible accommodations. Fran and Laurie are very thoughtful and go above and beyond for their guests and they have impeccable taste!

Darcy's place was absolutely stunning, very cozy and private, had everything we needed and sat up top a beautiful hill looking out to the mountains. Her yard was also stunning, all the decor inside and out. A very peaceful stay! Darcy was so insightful and friendly herself it was nice to have her around the property :) I would HIGHLY recommend staying here, even a long term stay would be magical here for a few months so go go go!

We loved the place! It was so cozy and spacious for the four of us. We loved the VHS/DVD that you provided with the house along with the board games.

We stayed for a week and I have to say, it made our vacation out here great! Quilcene is a wonderful small town with plenty to see. Full of trails and the local restaurants were great! The actual cottage was very well placed, peaceful, and extremely private. We were encouraged to walk his beautiful property and he even created a small trail for easy exploration! Absolutely stunning view of the Bay Area! Cottage was super clean, very cozy, well insulated as well. We stayed in late fall and we were never cold. Brian is a very accommodating host, I needed to glue my shoes as the soles had started to split, and he recommended the local hardware store where I found what I needed and even offered to lend me some clamps of his own! He really makes you feel comfortable and at home here. Our time here will never be forgotten and we would absolutely stay at Brian’s cottage again.

Perfect Cozy Farmhouse Getaway! Our stay at this charming 2-bedroom farmhouse was absolutely wonderful! The home had everything we needed and more, making it a perfect retreat. A special touch was the delicious cookies left for us by the host—such a thoughtful surprise! The property itself was a dream, especially for animal lovers. We enjoyed seeing the goats and llamas every day, along with the sheep, dwarf goats, and chickens. It was such a peaceful and relaxing environment, exactly what we were looking for. The host was fantastic—extremely communicative before our arrival, ensuring we did not have any issues. When I accidentally left something behind, they reached out immediately and made arrangements to have it shipped back to me, which I truly appreciated. If you’re looking for a cozy, quiet escape with great hospitality and adorable farm animals, this is the perfect place. We’d absolutely stay here again.

Great stay, Jodi's space was very nice quiet and clean. We loved being able to walk around the neighborhood, to shoreline, to ferry terminal and into town.

Gisele’s cabin was a great home base while visiting family for the holidays. The cabin is located centrally on the island close to the ferry and downtown Winslow, while the cabin itself was always a cozy place to read and stay warm by the fire. Excited for my next visit!

Just as amazing the second time! This is our second time booking this place, and we loved it just as much as the first. It’s clean, has a stunning view, and offers quick access to the ferry. Joe is a great host—responsive and thoughtful. Highly recommend!

This was the 3rd time we stayed at this property. It is a really nice place to stay with beautiful, peaceful surroundings. Jim and Gloria are great hosts! We go to visit family in the area. I do a lot of cooking and the kitchen is well appointed with everything needed to prepare and cook. It is very comfortable. We will stay there again.

I felt right at home the moment I opened the door, welcomed by a wonderful hospitable energy in this lovely space. The environs were perfect for me, with both a quiet tree lined street and a beautiful shoreline for walking. Ginger could not have been more responsive when I had a question. I enjoyed talking with her and Ken and learning some of the remarkable history of their family and this homestead. I look forward to future stays there, and highly recommend it.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the waterfront cottage. The views were beautiful and we were able to use the kayaks on the canal. The shellfish harvesting was also a great bonus. Would love to stay again.
