Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Kita Ward

Highly recommended. Yuka was a great host. The place is private and spacious with every amenity you will need. Lots of toys for our toddler. It was a bit cold in the house in Jan/Feb but did have heating. The beds and futons were very comfortable.

This is a beautiful traditional style Japanese house in a great location in Uno. There are plenty of amenities in walking distance: restaurants, the station and port to Naoshima, a large mall, multiple grocery store options, convenience stores, etc, all while being very quiet and peaceful. Nearby are some hiking trails into the mountains and a bike/pedestrian road where we went for nice runs and bike rides (bicycles provided!). The house is very spacious and beautiful: tatami rooms, huge bathtub, big kitchen, etc. The tatami room on the second floor is amazing, like being in a cloud. The only downsides for us were that we did not know there were stairs (a bit scary with a toddler), and it was quite cold inside while we were there (January). There are some electric and kerosene heaters but it dissipates quickly. The hosts are really kind and responsive; they even installed a baby gate for us. Overall great place; I want to come back again someday when it’s warmer!

The host was kind With the use of the entire single-family home on the first floor It was so nice to have no stairs. Make yourself at home in a Japanese house It was good to use, I recommend it for families! We rested comfortably before heading out!

Perfect location near Ritsurin Garden!

One of our best Airbnb experiences. Jen and Ono were responsive and helped us learn about the area and even helped make us dinner reservations. They walked us through all the details of their home and set us up for a great Naoshima trip. Their home is charming and had everything we needed as a base camp to explore. This is a very personal and classic Airbnb experience where you will interact with locals and stay in a real home and we loved it! Their e-bikes were also great to rent and well maintained. Excellent hosts!

We stayed 2 nights with Shinichi and Emi at Usagi house, immediately felt we were among friends, amongst artists. The property itself is gorgeous, fruit trees all around. Shinichi prepared a sauna both nights that overlooked not only the sky but the most beautiful view of their garden and the sea. Umi’s breakfast and dinner left us wanting nothing more. Fuel for the day and the most comforting dinner in the nights. Speaking with Shinichi we understood they had lived a full life in Berlin but had chosen to spend the rest growing their own food, performing their art in peace with their son on the island. Truly inspiring, highly recommended.

I had a wonderful time at the guesthouse on Shishi island. The host family was so nice, welcoming and kind. They even sent a personal item i had forgotten to my next accommodation, I could not be more grateful. The islanders are very friendly. The island is beautiful, especially the forest and the ancient tree. I can also recommend the walk around the shore during low tide. The guesthouse is spacious, clean, had everything one could possibly need and one can see the sea from the from of the house. There are no grocery shops on the island but they have a small coffee shop. There also is a small museum where they sell handmade items. I can highly recommend this place. I hope i’ll be able to visit again in the future.

Kureishi's place was the best experience that we've had on ou one month trip in Japan. He picked us up from the port, gave us an introduction to the island and organised for hire bikes etc. he even showed us all the local spots to visit. To top it all off, he made us the most amazing breakfast that we've had and treated us to his wonderful limes. Kureishi is truly am ambassador to Teshima and has great passion for the charming little island he calls home. We will never forget your generosity and kindness that you have shown to us. Thank you!

The accommodation seems a little far from downtown, but there are bicycles you provide, so we had fun during our stay. And it was so nice that there were many things to do in the accommodation and it was clean. I want to use it again next time!!😊

Miyuki was a great host and his home is a great place to stay if you’re in Takamatsu. It’s on a quiet street just a few minutes away from Kawaramachi station which you can take to get anywhere. Would recommend!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at MOMOYAnagomi. There were so many thoughtful additions such as heated floors, coffee and face cleanser which made our stay even more enjoyable. Host Riemama was kind enough to give us Okayama sweets to try. The place was also spacious and convenitely located near Seikibashi station.

Excellent place. Mary was always attentive to our questions and gave us good recommendations. The location was very good and the area was quiet. We recommend it without a doubt.

This is my third stay and it is always clean and well cleaned.It also has everything you want, so you can have a comfortable stay, whether it's short-term or long-term.Because of the high value for money, I don't think about staying elsewhere in nearby prefectures.

The ferry to Naoshima is super convenient and doesn’t require a reservation, making it easy to hop over and back. After a day of exploring, we highly recommend a visit to Setouchi Onsen in Uno—a perfect spot to unwind and relax. The room is clean, spacious, and offers great value for the price. Just a heads-up: cooking facilities aren’t available, and only cups and plates are provided. Overall, an excellent stay and a great base for exploring the area!

I stayed for a few weeks and everything was great. The place is clean and cozy. Close to convenience stores, market streets, and a train station. Nice little kitchen if you don't want to eat out. Communication was smooth and quick with the host. I'll stay here again when I come back to Takamatsu.

It felt like a large studio, making it a pleasant stay for a family. Parking is separately charged at a later date.

I stayed to attend a Southern concert. They handled it comfortably even though we arrived late at night. It was clean and very spacious, and the 7-Eleven was open and convenient nearby. I was able to relax and enjoy the concert the next day. Thank you very much.
