Lovely apartment, in a perfect location in the heart of Salcombe. Given the weather was pretty terrible, we had a great long weekend in Salcombe - the apartment was both cosy and comfortable, but had plenty of space for us. Great facilities, comfortable beds and sofa, and beautiful views through the buildings across the estuary. Great comms from the hosts - would definitely stay again. Recommend the Winking Prawn for lunch and the Kings Arms for dinner. The Fortesque became our local for beers, decent wine and a pool table.

We were in a difficult situation when we found out an hour before we were meant to check into a different property that they had double booked it. Leanne quickly made the house available for us and was very responsive to questions. The property was very expensive however I was a great location and lovely and clean. Very thankful for Leanne’s quick turn around and saving us from having nowhere to go!

Lovely short stay with kids. Easy to walk to the beach, shops, soft play, boat trips etc etc. No issues at all, we were able to get on with enjoying the area. The house was very very clean and had everything we needed. Geoff answered a couple of small queries promptly. We would definitely stay again if it was available.

Astonishingly brilliant location overlooking Dartmouth and Kingswear. Shops, pubs and restaurants only a few minutes away, yet peaceful location with views both of the sea and up the estuary. Ideal for the walker, with the South West Coast Path running outside the front door towards Blackpool Sands, Torcross and (via the lower ferry) Brixham. Easy access to ferries, buses and (steam) trains for those travelling without a car. Wish we could have stayed longer!

We loved the house! The location was excellent being half way up the high street with a clear view of the sea and the secret stairway out the back of the kitchen up to the roof garden and fire pit was a real treat. The living room fire place was a delight and the wood fuel was very well stocked. The kitchen was a good size and very well lit with natural light thanks to the sky light. The beds were comfortable with good quality bed linen. Thank you Freya for a fantastic stay!

A beautiful home in a superb location. We shall definitely return. Jan was a perfect host and extremely thoughtful and responsive with messages. She made the house feel like home with the thoughtful inclusion of little things that made our stay more comfortable and enjoyed. The beds were extremely comfortable and I am not usually a great sleeper, however the entire family slept excellently for the duration. Highly recommended property.

We spent Christmas in this lovely house in an excellent location, right in the centre of town and so close to the beach! A massively spacious and comfortable house perfect for large families! Sue was a brilliant host, replied quickly and was so helpful! Making sure we had all the check in details and available if we had any questions! Would recommend this house!

We had a great stay. It's a lovely cottage and we felt at home straight away. Claire gave very clear check in instructions and everything was easy. We'll definitely stay again next time we're in Devon.

A lovely property in an excellent location. The bedrooms were very comfortable with good bedding, nice and quiet area too. A good shower and a bath which is great for the kids. A well equipped clean kitchen and a good living and dining space. Comfortable sofas and a blanket provided too! Deb was very responsive in communications. Would definitely recommend, planning on returning ourselves!

Such a fabulous location. Seaside chic - with comfy beds, a lovely welcome package and great water pressure for the showers, it definitely ticked all our boxes. Lucky enough to see the best of the British weather for al fresco dining too!

We had a wonderful stay in Jonathan’s home. It was brief but we had fun being close to our family who live in the area. Kitchen was great. Big enough to service a family. If I were to return with my family and Jonathan would have us again I would definitely consider staying there again.

Maria’s place was perfect for our celebratory family holiday. Great living space that everyone can be in / eat in together but with the snug and large kitchen, plenty of space for people to hang out and not feel on top of each other! The views from the front of the property are even better than the photos and it’s a very short walk down to the high street and ferry point. Maria was an excellent host, very quick in responding and proactive with recommendations. Couldn’t recommend highly enough

Very nice home in the heart of Dawlish. House is clean and there’s everything you might need. Location is within easy walking distance of all shops, beach and railway station. Would definitely consider again when visiting the area.

Lovely town house in a perfect location for exploring the area. very comfortable furnishings and perfect amenities for what we needed as a holiday rental. restaurants within 10 mins walk of the property and Goodrington beach and water park just a few minutes walk away. We had the most wonderful time, particularly our little boy, who was in the sea/on the beach every day; which was definitely needed to cool down during the very hot weather at the time of our stay. Georgie is a great host and is very responsive and helpful, thank you so much! Only negative we have is we had to come home so soon. This holiday flew by and we will certainly be back.

This historic stay is beautifully redone, to the surprise and pride of local residents. It's centrally located so a short walk to hikes, parking, grocery, and dinners. The interior design work and crafted aesthetic is beautiful if only a little spooky with hand mannequins and taxidermy animals or statues with nails in. The rooms are split between 3-ish levels, and I found October weather in Moretonhampstead to be freezing despite the warnings, hahah! Parking was complicated for an out of country visitor, (just email and request an account for the app to work, or carry coins), but with the buses and local amenities it's easy to skip parking altogether. Good luck with the front door and draft windows, they look neat but they are a little catchy. The guidebook was detailed and good to follow, I'll miss the park and local knitting opportunities! Thank you again for the stay.

We loved our stay at Indigo. It was a perfect place for a Christmas visit to see family. The house was spotless and had everything we needed. Lovely cosy details and decor. We will definitely look to book again in the future. Thank you.

We really enjoyed our stay here! Beautiful home with everything we needed over the few days we were there. Located in a lovely area as well that felt safe and peaceful with easy access to shops and cafes. Would really recommend!

We had a fabulous Christmas and new year break in Kingsbridge. The cottage is ideally situated within east walking distance from restaurants and shops in Kingsbridge and 5 minutes drive from a Tesco and Morrisons supermarket (I recommend the bake house for Bakewell slices). Spectacular coastal walks from Gara Rock, Start Point and hope and the weather was very kind to us. The cottage was a home from home, clean and spacious for our family of 4 and very warm and cosy. I would book again.

Fantastic stay in Brixham, great property in a brilliant location with views over the harbour.

A perfect location for getting out and about, easy access onto the A38, and easy parking right outside the property. Molly always replied very quickly to questions and is really helpful, the information pack at the house was brilliant, and the walk across the meadow to the river just across the road from the house is a must do! The Claycutters Arms is fantastic for an evening meal with a good play area for the little ones. The house was perfect for a large family holiday, the stairs are a little steep but you soon learn to adapt, the beds are all comfortable and the whole house is clean and tidy, a great place to stay.

Really nice holiday cottage lovely views from the bedrooms quite roomy inside a little dated but not a issue , nice courtyard at the front a bit of a hill to walk up as most places in Salcombe but worth the walk House warm clean and comfortable even in December a little difficulty locating which property it was when we got there as trouble seeing the door numbers but overall 5 star
