Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Kim Ma

We picked this place because one the reviews says it’s really quiet, and it is! The location is very convenient, just neighboring the Train Street. At the same time, it sits in a deep alley so it is away from all the traffic and tourist noise. We have enjoyed our stay very much, and would definitely recommend it to anyone planning to visit Hanoi!

The stay at Jan Jan's was really incredible. The place is beautiful and very cozy, lots of blankets, pillows, plants, beautiful lighting and scented candles. It was wonderful to stay over the holidays! The hosts were very responsive and helpful and took care of any requests we had. There is drinking water from a filtered tap. The lake view was pristine and calm, a beautiful garden adjacent. If you are sensitive about caged birds and animal rights, then you should know that the hosts keep many birds in small cages in the garden. The location was pretty far away from the center and near big street with construction (but that's not visible or audible from inside the accomodation, just just you enter the premises). We needed about half an hour to the Old Quarter by car and about 20/25 mins per frequent busses (the latter being the far cheaper option). all in all -if you want a quiet oasis away from the hustle and bustle, this place is perfect!

Amazing stay calm and location was good

We had a lovely stay in Hanoi Old Quarter. I love these old style buildings where there is so much life inside and out. It was great to have a balcony but with the doors closed there is not much noise (and the street is quiet at night). We had everything we needed and the host was very helpful she even gave us the use of a washing machine and luggage storage. A great experience thank you!

Very clean and spacious apartment as advertised and close to Hanoi's Old Quarter. The staff were exceedingly kind and helpful. Unlike the usual business establishment, the three of them whom I met had an air of close family. One evening I had a terrible misstep into a turd while picking up dinner on my way back to the hotel. The receptionist immediately asked what was wrong when I walked in carrying my left shoe. I was going to go clean it myself but he took the shoe and sprayed it clean for me. I'm very grateful to him!

The space is exceptional. We have a little kid and the room is large enough for him to play around. A big bathtub is a plus point. We was also able to invite friends to our room for a cozy dinner, and the fullt-equipped kitchen helped a lot. But for hygiene stuff like toothpaste, shampoo, etc., it’s necessary to text the host before it runs out coz there’ll be no one who come to check during your stay.

This was a satisfyingly large apartment, nicely decorated, conveniently close to the Old Quarter and other points of interest. We were initially disappointed that it was a bit under equipped (e.g. cutlery) and that there was a bad drains smell from the room with the bathtub. However, the hosting team were very responsive and helpful and were able to resolve both issues very quickly; they did an excellent job and made the difference between a 5* review and a lower rating.

Safe place to stay with family

My stay here is was great. Check in was easy and my week long stay was amazing. The place looks exactly like the photos and it has everything you need. The neighborhood is close to downtown and there are a lot of restaurants and cafés around. Overall very highly recommend

We had an amazing stay at Blue Mountain Villa for my 50th and although I didn't meet hosts Pham or Hong in person, did feel well looked after through messages and by the on-site housekeeper. The heated outdoor pool is amazing and we loved the sauna and the fire pit too. Lovely bedrooms with large comfortable beds and stylish ensuites. It really is an amazing property. For people that love a lot of privacy and independence. First thing in the morning the gardeners maintain the property with sweeping/pool cleaning etc so there are quite often people around working - not an issue for us, but just to be aware of it. And if you love to come and go as you please, or on the spur of the moment, the main gate constantly being locked could be a minor hindrance to that.

Great spot near Bach Mai hospital. Clean, spacious room and a nice kitchen area to use as well. The family were very accommodating!

Everything was fine, very comfortable the ideal place for the weekend to relax, the furniture is a bit old. My group is quite satisfied to gather

Great host , who was most helpful at all times. Good communication from start to finish and also helped with any problems quickly. The apartment is huge with 5 floors and 3 good size bedrooms. Close to all the things you need in the old quarter. Really enjoyed our time in Hanoi.
