Holiday rentals with lake access in Kenai Peninsula Borough

Kathy's is the ideal spot for folks who want to be close, but not too, to downtown for its activities and dining etc. We enjoyed at the end of the day, sitting on her deck and just watching the lake and mountains. Clean and well kept, the house is very livable. We'll certainly look to see if Kathy's is available when next we visit Anchorage.

We had an amazing time staying at this cabin in Homer, AK! It was absolutely perfect for us—quiet, cozy, and close to town but far enough away to escape the hustle and bustle. The view of the mountains from the front porch was breathtaking, and we were even lucky enough to spot a moose in the neighborhood! The cabin itself was impeccably cared for, with everything feeling new and thoughtfully designed. Although we didn’t use the upstairs room, it would be perfect if you’re traveling with one or two kids. You can really tell that a lot of love and attention went into making this cabin a welcoming and comfortable retreat. We highly recommend it for anyone looking to enjoy a peaceful and scenic stay in Homer!

good communication with hosts. Ample of space. Very clean. Walking distance to the coastal trail and only a short bus ride from DT Anchorage. I can highly recommend their place for any length of stay in Anchorage.

Chris' group was super easygoing and clean. We would love to have them back and highly recommend them to other Airbnb hosts.

Our family of 4 (2 teenage boys) stayed here for 2 nights. It’s a lovely home full of entertaining amenities. Very spacious with everything we needed and more. Our boys loved the loft area with its comfy seating and cozy reading nook. Lots of games, DVDs, etc. The hot tub and wood burning fire place were perfect after a long day of fishing. We’d definitely stay there again and highly recommend!

Great little cabin, great for 2-4 people. was a little tricky to locate as I arrived after dark, but was still easy to locate. place was clean and fully stocked and the host was very friendly and responsive anytime I had a question.

Amber is a great host! The house was clean and very comfortable for a group of 4. Amber went above and beyond even letting us use a personal cooler for our lunches during the day while fishing. A couple of our guys did complain about how uncomfortable a couple of the beds where. But they made it work. Overall a great experience and again Amber is an exceptional host! We will be back.

This apartment was exactly what we needed for visiting my son who was working at the school. The town and its people were amazing.

Great last minute spot that I booked. The view of the lake is beautiful and watching the planes take off and land. Only thing I didn’t account for was how loud these little planes are especially when they’re taking off at 6:30am. If you want to sleep in just keep that in mind. I would stay here again though.

Perfection from start to end! We arrived on an 11pm flight, Brett responded within a minute to meet us and provide the keys and instructions. He shared great recommendations of things to do and see, made us feel completely welcome, and the space was everything we needed and hoped for! Our first morning we walked down to the back deck and heard bald eagles calling, the hot tub was well kept and piping hot, the bed was comfortable and the room had everything we needed, including coffee and a sweet welcome basket. I cannot say enough good things about our experience here, I wholeheartedly recommend staying at the peaceful inlet sanctuary!

Our stay at Dan’s place was absolutely wonderful! The apartment was spotless and well-maintained, with thoughtful touches that made it feel like home. The location was incredibly convenient, with easy access to downtown and local attractions. But what really made our stay stand out was Dan’s exceptional hospitality. Our second time here. No complaints, very comfortable and safe area. This home is very convenient to a gas station, grocery store, coffee shop, and some food choices. Not far from the airport or from Diamond area. There are a couple of fans in the closet. I would suggest adding an additional throw blanket and comforter to the closet. All of the windows and option of letting sunlight in is very nice. Some coffee was provided. Thanks! I will come again.

What a wonderful m, relaxing stay! We enjoyed relaxing and watching the mountains and ocean come in and out of view through the fog and clouds. We saw a moose and what looked like a fox out the window. The cabin is so cozy and easily slept our group of 3 comfortably. The beds are amazing! We were happy to arrive to some food in the fridge and snacks on the countertop. What a treat! I would love to come back.

This was my second time staying at Two Sisters Lakeside Inn. I truly can’t put into words how much I have loved my time there. It is quiet, peaceful, and so beautiful. The sauna is a dream and Pauline always has the wood set up and ready to go for when you arrive. It was so nice to sit on the porch, drink tea, and listen to the birds. The bed is super comfy, everything is spotless, and you have everything you need to cook. Pauline is an incredible host and was so accommodating. If you are looking for a place to truly relax, this is it! I am so excited to be back soon.
