Townhouse holiday rentals in Kemptown

We recently stayed at Joanne’s home in the Brighton Hove area. We were an extended family with 7 adults and 3 children. There was plenty of room for everyone with large bedrooms and comfortable beds. A wonderful Kitchin area with plenty of room to gather. The most amazing doors that open out to a beautiful and private yard. The home was a short walk to the beach, or to the bus (very reliable and comes often) to get to town. There is a tesco nearby as well as cafes for a morning coffee and bakery treat. The only item to be aware of is that the stairs are a bit steep so if you have accessibility issues, this might not be the right fit. Overall, we would highly recommend this property and certainly rent again. Thank you Joanne! Beth

The house is a good size and full of character. The location was ideal for us as we wanted to be close to family over Christmas but it is very conveniently situated near Five Ways for shops and buses. Emma was very helpful ahead of our visit with very clear instructions re check in . Overall , a great venue for a Brighton visit.

Stayed here with my Wife and Son (18 months) for 1 week and was very happy with our stay. The house is a good size and location was ideal. Graham was a very accommodating host and answered any questions we had very quickly, despite being on holiday at the time (sorry Graham). Sad we did not get to use the rear patio due to cold/wet weather but looks like a lovely spot to spend your time in the warmer months. Great stay. Will definitely be back!

A wonderful stay at Candybox for my hen do! Perfect accommodation for a hen/stag. Everyone loved the quirks of the accommodation. Marina provided a really comprehensive email with instructions and recommendations when I first booked and was extremely responsive to any of my queries. The location is amazing - very walkable! I would definitely stay again!

Zoe has gone above and beyond to make my stay as lovely as could be. The house was immaculately presented , bathrooms and kitchen were spotless and the lounge was as cosy as you could wish for, I particularly liked the real fireplace. The kitchen had anything you could wish for , SMEG coffee maker with ample of pods available was a joy to use. My bed was big and super comfortable. Zoe left some recommendations for local pubs and restaurants which was brilliant. The free street parking, and available drive was a bonus which made parking pain free. I would heartily recommend staying at this property , and have no doubt I shall book again next time I’m in the south cost. Thank you Zoe you are a star.

A really great place to stay in central Brighton. Easy to walk to the shops, places to eat, various attractions and the beach. Ideally located and very comfortable place to stay.

The house is perfectly positioned in a quiet mews - within walking distance of the station, the beach and a range of fantastic restaurants. Jackie and family are fabulous hosts and made us feel incredibly welcome in their beautiful, stylish home. We had all the home comforts we could possibly wish for - including comfy beds, fluffy towels and a very well equipped kitchen. The house is spotlessly clean and the communication before and during our stay was excellent. We would love to return and will definitely recommend.

Lovely house in a great spot close to the sea. Warm, cosy and fine for a small family. 10 min walk into Goring, 20 min walk into Worthing. Christopher was very helpful, Gave us a call to make sure everything was ok with the house. Parking for one vehicle, additional parking not too far away. Would definately stay again.

No need to look anywhere else if you're staying in Brighton area. An outstanding, well kept, well maintained, property with all amenities and creature comforts to make your stay away from home feel just like home and some! Daniel is a superb host and can teach a lot of other Airbnb owners about organisation and guest management! Pre-visit information provided was clear and detailed. All communication pre, during and post was proactive, friendly and helpful. Daniel is a very thoughtful host making sure that everything in the property is clearly explained with helpful notes dotted around to make life easy and enjoyable. All creature comforts are provided and that little extra touch of a 'real' welcome basket with all essentials you need - fruit, milk, etc and some non-essentials but oh so holiday important - chocolate and crisps :) A long weekend felt like a much longer relaxing holiday. Can't recommend the property or Daniel enough.

It was a great place to stay really nice and cosy felt right at home. Great location close to the town centre. Would highly recommend staying here.

Rachel's cottage is perfect. It is a few yards from the High Street, has a private parking space and everything you need inside. The main bedroom has a firm but very comfortable SUPERKING 6' bed and the smaller room has a 5' KING bed/2 2' 6" singles. The kitchen is very well equipped, lounge very comfortable, and the garden is sunny in the morning for breakfast outside. (There are plenty of nearby bakeries for delicious croissants etc) Rachel was an excellent communicator and pays attention to detail to keep the cottage beautiful. Totally recommended. Don't hesitate. Just book it!

Stayed at Evrim’s place for the Brighton half marathon. It was in the perfect location, short walk from train station, beach, shops and restaurants. House was very clean and spacious and the arcade game a great addition. Would definitely stay here again. Thanks for having us.

Roz was kind and helpful. She told us of events in the area and provided us with helpful information. The kitchen was stocked with treats and snacks on arrival. We had eight people stay and the house accommodated us all nicely.

Helena’s place is great - a great house with lots of room and good amenities. Steps away from Waitrose and Lewes High Street meant that this was an extremely convenient place to stay for all members of our group. Thank you!

Nice cosy home. Basement kitchen and living area was a nice space to retreat to at the end of the day - perfect location for us, easy walk to the north lanes - fantastic Japanese/korean place to eat O’shio a few minutes walk away and couple of pubs at the end of the street. We visited in Feb so was cold and didn’t use the outdoor space - but would have made a nice spot to chill out in when warmer - Mathew was good, quick to respond with info etc - check-in etc all very nice easy. Would stay again next time we back in the uk/brighton!

Great location, very close to the train station and the Lanes. The beach is a 10–15 minute walk, but the walk is very nice because you can go through the Lanes, which is full of cool local stores and places to eat or have a coffee. There are lots of pubs nearby, and a 24/7 convenience store just outside the building. At first, we didn’t know how to turn on the heating, but we sent a message to the owner, and he explained - there were instructions on how to turn it on, but all the radiators were turned off. Everything else in the house was great and clean. There is a nice terrace with a view where you can smoke or have a coffee.

The house is well located with easy access to the seafront and town centre. Clean, tidy, nice decor and well equipped with plenty of plates, mugs, glasses etc.. We were a group of 6 friends, stayed 2 nights and it was great. Those sleeping in the front bedrooms did find it a bit noisy at nighttime so light sleepers might want earplugs. Excellent fish and chips from Bankers, virtually opposite the house. Would definitely recommend

We had a lovely weekend in this Brighton town house. The place was exactly as pictured, lots of room, nice decor and spotless. Faye was prompt in sending over all information and checking we were settled in ok. Perfect spot to stay in Brighton, in walking distance to the centre and right near the sea front. We had a lovely weekend away staying here. The house was very clean and tidy and it was a very easy commute into central Brighton. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a stay just outside Brighton.

Location was amazing and the place is beautiful. There are plenty of affordable car parks near by so don’t let this put you off. Check in was super easy and straightforward. The apartment has everything you could need and more and is super spacious.

Thank you for sharing your home. Stay was too short and would definitely come back. Home was spacious and nicely appointed, some snacks were set out for us on arrival which was a nice touch. Loved the games, books and things available to us if we had the time we, would have taken advantage of and enjoyed with family. We walked to a pub and enjoyed some delicious savory pies for dinner and found an incredible bakery which we walked to in the am. As Americans we appreciated the bag of ice in the freezer... we love our ice. Loved the church bells that we woke up to also. The parking was, tight and challengingly. This is not a complaint we appreciated knowing this was going to be the case Thank you again, The Orems

Very good spot in central Brighton. John was great to deal with. Very responsive and accommodating. The house was easy to gain access to was as described. Would definitely recommend
