We had the most fantastic time at Tofts Barn - a group of us mums needed some time away from the kids and husbands to unwind, decompress and laugh together - the open fires were so cosy, the house was a dream. It has stunning interiors, gorgeously luxurious and the perfect place to unwind and relax in. The hosts were utterly wonderful in responding to us and giving us helpful advice about the local area. We felt right at home and didn’t want to leave!! We all said how we could live there for sure !! Clean, gorgeous and surroundings are stunning. We will be back!

Hideaway Cottage in Southwold was clean, comfortable, peaceful, and well located only about 5 minutes from the beach and the high street. Even closer to Adnams brewery and you can see the lighthouse from the bedroom window. The cottage was well appointed and comfortable. The listing was 100% accurate. Check in was simple and there is room to park a car on site. Kate was an excellent host. She was friendly, approachable and communicative with lots of local suggestions and recommendations. Thank you for letting us stay in your cottage. Highly recommended!

We've been to a few off-grid guys and this is up there with the best of them. Ben's eye for detail and use of a small space is excellent. The room is strangely spacey even though it's obviously small. The kitchen area is well thought out and has all you need for a short stay. Plenty of plug sockets in the right spaces, and lots of storage and hanging space. Obviously the outdoor spa bath and views is the top trump for this stay, and it really is excellent - well placed, private, well designed and luxurious. We really couldn't have asked for more - and the tiny extras (coffee, toiletries) show that Ben does think of the visitor! Thanks Ben!

Janice couldn’t have been more helpful or responsive. The accommodation was well-equipped and well-appointed. We had everything that we needed for a great stay. We already know the area, but this couldn’t have been better placed to enjoy the Broads and other amenities. We would love to return again soon.

Immaculately clean (and I clean houses for a living) and well appointed property. Well stocked kitchen with tea/coffee/sugar available on arrival. Host was extremely helpful and responsive. Beds were super comfy and towels provided. If you have younger children, there is everything you need, travel cot, highchair, box of toys. Position is lovely over looking the harbour with a 5 min walk to the beach and plenty of parking. It is however a modern terrace and so noise from neighbours is heard easily, even just walking up and down stairs. Thought it worth mentioning in case you wanted a super quiet escape. Also the configuration of the rooms didn’t work so well for us so thought it worth mentioning. The shower room/toilet is off the dining room/3rd bedroom. So if using this as a bedroom as we did for my 16 year old the shower room is inaccessible if they are still sleeping. The 2nd toilet is on the 2nd floor and bath in the bedroom as shown. Would t stop us staying again but good to know

What a great host, so easy to communicate with and really helpful about the local area. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this perfectly located traditional cottage.

We spend our New Year’s Eve At Lees place regularly because family are near by and because it’s always brilliant, beautiful, clean, welcoming, comfortable had excellent facilities. We have booked already to come back! Thank you xxxx

The place smelled beautiful as you walk in and stayed that way for the duration, really clean and well thought out, cupboards were well stocked with plates and cookware etc. the annex felt private and the area was very quiet and peaceful, lovely walks close by. We brought a dog with us and they left a bowl and some treats in it which I thought was a really nice touch. We had tea coffee and biscuits ready to use on arrival which was definitely appreciated. We will 100% be back as it was also a great price tbh. Beds were comfortable and the sofa bed was made up for us by the owners. Couldn’t fault a single thing.

A really lovely property with everything you could possibly need. The house was a really good layout and easily hosted our two families of 4 plus the dogs. The location on the beach was great, the beach front is very clean and not filled with tacky shops like further up the coast. The only negative I would say is that the area is a little run down but I believe this will improve in time. We also didn’t feel this affected our stay in anyway. We walked the dogs daily for Long Beach walks which was lovely, it’s certainly an impressive beach with amazing sand. We have dogs so it was great to have a good vacuum cleaner as I did this most days. Apologies we stripped the beds upstairs before we left, it was just habit. The other family left last as we needed to leave earlier, check out was as straightforward as check in. Ruth was great at communicating, always promptly responding to questions. Great place to stay and fully equipped - amazing views and location too!

We loved our short break at the Dairy, Roger is the perfect host & he has created a beautiful peaceful retreat within the lovely grounds of his own home. The cottage is very well equipped with everything you need, & a lot of thought has gone into making it cosy & comfortable, with quality bedding, towels, kitchen items & a very comfortable bed. The bathroom is spacious & warm, with a very good shower. The location is very quiet & peaceful, & we will definitely return to take advantage of the well equipped outdoor areas, including a paddock for our dog to let off steam. Thank you Roger for your warm welcome, & for the amazing hamper with tasty treats & Prosecco, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay over New Year.
