Wonderful week at Villa Rakka We had a fantastic week at Villa Rakka in Äkäslompolo! The house is very cozy and is in a quiet environment, perfect for relaxing. The kitchen is excellently equipped, so nothing is missing. We were particularly enthusiastic about the spacious sauna with the beautiful view of the snowy forest – a real highlight! From the beginning we felt at home here. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and everything was furnished with a lot of love for detail. We would book Villa Rakka again at any time and can fully recommend it. Thank you for this great place to stay.

Christian was a great host from start to finish! He was so helpful and even let us know about the upcoming Finnish supermarket strikes which we would have never known about!! The place was remarkable. Beautifully clean and a great space for 2 families of 4. The slopes are minutes away and Sirkka is only a short drive/taxi journey away. We will Definitely come back!!

Extraordinary week spent as a family of 6 at Marko's cottage! The cottage is cozy, well heated, perfectly equipped. On-site amenities like sauna, Finnish bath, Kota (tepee), sleds helped make this stay authentic and make it an unforgettable experience! The calm, without noise and visual pollution, really allows you to disconnect from everyday life and relax. We were lucky to have very nice sunny weather that allowed us to admire 5 nights in a row of beautiful Northern Lights just above the cottage. Marko is a lovely host, concerned about the well-being of his tenants. Extremely smooth and fast communication. We had some great walks on the frozen river, alone in the world! Tepasto is about 20 minutes from Levi, very convenient to get to the various scheduled activities or explore the surrounding area. We will undoubtedly return to this magical place with our eyes closed! Thank you

We had an amazing stay at the Lapland snow cabin. The host is very nice and helpful in every way. It’s apparent that they enjoy hosting guests and that they are passionate about showing the artic world they live in. I don’t have anything bad to say about this simple and cozy cabin we spent our holiday living. Would recommend this cottage to anyone wanting to experience Lapland to its full potential!

Suvi's property is ideal both for families or small groups of friends travelling together. The large and modern living room overlooking the woods is the highlight; we visited in the winter and wished the weather was poor to have an excuse and stay indoors. The property offers great privacy and sits in a tranquil side road with lots of space, though it's just a stone's throw from the lake and under five minutes from the nearest cafes, restaurants, the shopping centre and the other amenities. Suvi's been very responsive. Upon check-in we found the house beyond clean. Would love to return and definitely recommend.

Staying in Lars-Ola’s house was a great experience: Idivuoma is a small village close to the Finnish border, far from touristy destinations. The house has everything you need to feel at home and Lars is eager to share its knowledge about the region. Staying there in winter, we were even blessed with two northern lights shows directly from the porch !

What can I say, simply super, the house and location are exceptional, even better than in the photos, all the comforts, lots of equipment available for free (skis, snowshoes, sledges, bobsters, etc.) kitchen complete with everything and with a good base of cooking ingredients (oil, vinegar, spices, salt, sugar, coffee, etc.). We didn't want to leave anymore, we could live in this house and would definitely like to come back in the future.

We really loved our time in Tea’s cabin, it’s beautiful and well located right by a lake for great sledging and northern light viewing. It felt secluded yet was easy driving distance from Levi and loads of activities. The cabin itself is beautiful and was well stocked for kitchen equipment etc when we got there. Our children were perfect ages for the loft room (6&10), the stairs are steep (there is a gate) and the ceiling is low! Tea was very responsive and a great host! You’ll love it here.

We have just returned from the most amazing week at Grandimaja. Everything was perfect and exactly as described. Hanna and Olav are the perfect hosts! We received lots of information and recommendations prior to our trip and they really did go above and beyond to make our trip memorable! We will definitely be back ❤️
