Holiday rentals with a patio in Kathmandu

Clean and peaceful stay with a few unavoidable insects as the unit is on the lowest floor. Joe was very responsive in answering qns & sharing tips. Apartment is bright and has plenty of space. Drinking water and coffee were provided. To go to the unit, one needs to walk down a flight of metal stairs. If the luggage is very heavy, it may be a problem. A couple of power trips occurred but were restored within minutes.

It’s a perfect place for a family, peaceful and quite located just few mins away from Boudha stupa. Dawa is very responsive and helpful. He would always answer our call and help us whenever needed. I would highly recommend this place. Thank you

Stayed for a month at Niraj's serviced-apartment and am very glad I did. Niraj is very responsive and considerate host, his staff was always available to deal with any issue in real time, the neighborhood is very peaceful and is just a walk away from lively Thamel, if you don't mind the dusty unpaved roads in this neighborhood - you'll have a great time. One issue I had was finding the place, Niraj is working to set the precise location on Airbnb, and until that's fixed I suggest that when you arrive at the marked location you either keep in contact with Niraj and maybe have one of the stuff find you or you can look for the building in the listing's exterior photos, took me a few minutes but wasn't a hassle. Would come back whenever I'm back in Kathmandu.

Staying at Ramesh's place is one of the most special experiences I've had in now over 14 years of AirBnb experiences. This is truly a homestay. If you are looking for a box on a wall with a code and not meeting a single local. May I say, like in Covid times stay home. This is truly an immersion in Nepal. An incredibly lovely family, you have your privacy when you need it and your advice and cultural immersion which is what I hope we are looking for when travelling to magnificent Nepal. Ramesh will help in airport pickup, dropoff and excursions at unbeatuable prices! Ramesh and his family represent what AirbnB was supposed to be and what a true traveller should look for: LIVING truly in the country you visit, with the locals. True postive karma as it should be :)

Really enjoyed my stay here, excellent place if you need to work, lots of space, i would highly recommend Akash Ratna place to anyone and if i return to Kathmandu i will be staying here

Umesh’s place is beautiful to stay while exploring Kathmandu. House is beautiful and we must appreciate assistance provided from Purna. However, I have to leave some feedback. I advise Umesh not to keep his family photos everywhere for his own privacy reason and for the comfort of guests as well. In addition, there should be some sort of care on maintenance of taps and door handles. Saying these things, house is beautiful to say😊

Super beautiful spot in a great location in Kathmandu. The hosts are the loveliest people you’ll ever get to meet. Highly recommend staying here if you have a group of around 8!

I loved the place. I would love to stay in the apartment when I visit Ktm again. Everything was available. Just that check in time was not feasible for us. Overall I had a great time there. Thank you.

It’s a beautiful place so much positivity everywhere the terrace is beautiful and I loved the staff working there. Definitely coming back for even a longer stay. This time was 8 nights feels less could stay there for some more time. 10/10 well done 👍🏻

this was a great unit AND definitely was bigger then I expected based on the photos. it was complete and within the inner streets of the neighborhood....so it was away enough from the main road to avoid all the excess noise (from traffic/business etc). it was well equipped, comfy bed, basics in the kitchen but the host made it clear that anything we needed, she would try to accommodate - thats always a plus... amazing stay and happy we stayed here

It looks neat and clean, is located in a side street and therefore quite quiet at night. The hostess is easy to reach in case of problems and is very friendly. The roof terrace is also very idyllic and freely accessible.

Amit was an excellent host! Super friendly, responsive and helpful. The location is also great if you're looking for a stay close to the city but a little more removed for a peaceful and local feel! The place was just as described, very homey :)
