Kazumi was lovely and extremely helpful. We had plenty of questions and she went out of her way to help us. The location depends on what you're after. For us it was perfect as there was still snow there late in the season. Thank you so much for all your help Kazumi - much appreciated!

Super close to the station, shops and restaurants, definitely a convenient location. The rooms are really nice and comfy. The shared space is super relaxed and is a good spot to eat and relax. There’s a guitar to play too, which is fun to play around on. The hosts are super helpful, and it’s all pretty straightforward. Definitly would recommend this place for a comfortable and convenient stay in Nagano. Pretty close to some cool sightseeing spots and views too

We had a really relaxing and calming night at the Kamesei Royakan which was our first stay at a typical Royakan. We enjoyed a lot the Onsen and the traditional breakfast and would really come back to this cozy place with the nice owners.

I was worried about the cold in Karuizawa, but the room was warm even with floor heating.The bath was slow to stretch out my tiredness. It is a few minutes walk to Old Light Ginza Street, and it is a perfect location for sightseeing. The staff were very helpful with responding to questions and lending out the extension cord. Masa is THE most generous host! His hospitality was out of this world and he showed us, as promised, different onsen every night. Will 100% recommend and hopefully have a chance to return again! Thank you Masa!!

We enjoyed a peaceful getaway at Wooribow Ryokan. The service and breakfast were amazing. We loved having access to the private onsen. The center of town was an easy walk away with many restaurants and activities nearby. We would definitely stay again!

The space was very clean and welcoming. When I arrived, I was treated to a delicious welcome tea, and breakfast was also much appreciated. The host took the time to give me all the local tips. The room was spotless and the onsen were perfect. Highly recommend this sweet spot.

Very nice friendly owners. Very nice stay in the woods, peaceful, relaxing. Ordered their Balinese dinner and breakfast, it was fantastic. Location may be a little out of the way but definitely worth staying here if u r driving. I’d love to stay here again if I plan another trip to Karuizawa area.
