Great stay, Jane went above and beyond for us. She was kind enough to wait-up for a late check in, ensuring that we arrived safely. Even allowing us an extra hour to recuperate after check-out. She is an amazing responsive and caring host. The apartment is much bigger than what you see in the pictures. So that is a nice suprise. You will find all that you need. It’s both clean and homely. We appreciated the fruit bowl on the table. Cereal and Milk provided for aswell. It’s those lil simple thoughtful touches that make this place special. Whenever we drive through Upington for 1 or 2 nights, this will always be the place of our choice. It’s worth the booking!

We had such a great stay at Lake Grappa. Unit is very nicely furnished and has everything you would need and only a short drive to the Augrabies Falls. We also enjoyed dinner and drinks at the restaurant which was fantastic. Great atmosphere and stunning view of the sunset over the lake. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. Thank you Gerrit!

Great place, a true green paradise in the midst of the dryland

We visited Upington on a work trip and had a great stay at Alucarni, located near a variety of restaurants and shops. The room (with air conditioning) was very comfortable and well-maintained, providing a perfect place to relax. Getting to and from the property was a breeze, with clear instructions and easy access. Highly recommend Alucarni for anyone visiting the area!

We enjoyed our stay at Salmon and Elna's accommodation. We had a friendly welcome, they even accommodated us with an earlier check in. Good value and close to the falls. Will definitely recommend and stay again.
