Beachfront holiday rental in Kailua Beach

This beach cottage is the best! It’s right on the beach. Walk out the back door to your private beach patio! You can’t get any closer to the beautiful sand and ocean waves. The house was clean. Loved the AC, washer & dryer, lots of bath towels & beach towels. The kitchen is perfect. The one bathroom they have is big and beautiful, and we always had warm showers. The beds were very comfortable. It was so nice to have a couch with a TV upstairs AND downstairs. We loved this place. You can’t get any closer to the waves than this beach front cottage. Clark was a great host!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this lovely apartment in Hawaii, and I can't recommend it enough! The location was fantastic—just a short distance from everything I wanted to explore, including beautiful beaches, local shops, and delicious restaurants. Communication with the host was seamless and prompt. They were very accommodating and made sure I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The apartment itself was a dream! It was impeccably clean and had a super aesthetic vibe that made it feel like a true getaway. Every corner was thoughtfully decorated, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere. Overall, my experience was amazing, and I would definitely stay here again on my next trip to Hawaii. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Janet was quick to respond to our needs. Her place was updated and really a perfect location. Keep in mind, Waikiki is a top location and her place was an excellent value.

We cannot say enough about Paul and his lovely apartment. The view was marvelous. The furniture and fixtures were all new. Paul left lovely little surprises like treats and local recommendations. He was quickly responsive, including on our first day when we had a little trouble with the keypad front door lock. He was very warm and gave us lots of recommendations. In addition, the staff of the Waikiki Banyan were all very friendly, from those at the front desk to the security person in the garage. Also, the bed was extremely comfortable, and the linens were pristine and soft. We did not get a chance to use the pool or hot tubs, but from our lanai, it looked as if people enjoyed them thoroughly. The hallway outside the unit looks a bit 70s and be prepared to wait for the elevators, but those were negligible issues. This is a terrific option for a couple, looking for a romantic stay near the beach with an incredible view of diamond head.

Jo’s condo is the perfect place to relax & enjoy Oahu — it is well stocked with coffee(!), toiletries, comfy furniture, beach equipment, treats and personal gifts. We’ve stayed at the Diamond Head Beach Hotel often, but this was the first time enjoying #703 with it’s wonderful ocean view! Mahalo nui loa Jo!

Had a great time. Location was right in the mix of everything. Across from the zoo enjoyed the sounds coming from there.

We had a fantastic stay at Alexei’s place in Waikiki! The unit was spotless and very comfortable. The bed was on the firmer side, which we personally loved, and the AC was efficient and super quiet—a lifesaver after a day in the sun. The location is unbeatable—just steps from the beach with breathtaking views of the ocean, Diamond Head, and the lush greenery of the zoo right across the street. The place was also fully stocked with all the cooking amenities, which made it easy for us to prepare meals and enjoy them while taking in the incredible scenery. One of the highlights was the communal rooftop patio in the building. It’s a hidden gem—spacious, rarely busy, and offering panoramic views that are hard to match. The only thing to be aware of is the noise level. Being near the street, there’s some street noise, and the bar a few floors below can get a bit lively at times. However, as a heavy sleeper, this didn’t bother us. If you’re a light sleeper, it’s something to keep in

We had a wonderful week at Ko Olina Beach Villas. The apartment was spacious for our 6 adults and one child. Kitchen was well stocked and they had a lot of nice extras for us to use at the beach including a wagon, beach chairs, cooler, and water toys. We were traveling with a one year old and they had a pack and play, high chair, and misc toys available. The resort was absolutely beautiful, very quiet and peaceful. The beach was beautiful and there were several pools and hot tubs. We also enjoyed the beach bar! Would definitely recommend this area if you are looking to get away from the busy, more populated areas. Thank you so much for the stay! We had the best vacation!!

This was a wonderful place to stay! Me and my wife loved it! There are plenty of things to do that’s close by, the beach is about a 2 minute walk, Harmoni was quick to respond and very kind, and it was a very clean place! The only thing to note is it gets pretty loud at night with the road being right out the window. Other than that our stay was wonderful and we highly recommend it to anyone who’s looking for a fun stay.

We love this unit, stayed there 2 times, love white clean floors, furniture and beds are very comfortable, clean and useful kitchen, nice clean bathroom, makes us feel like at home. Great view!!! Beautiful sunsets can be watched right from the unit, and amazing location.

We contacted her on short notice. And she responded very quickly. We had rented a house on the other side of the island where there was nothing to do. We reached out to Annie and it said she would respond in 24 hours. Well she responded in less than 24 hours. And we all were thankful. Then when we got to her place, which was easy to find. Check in was a breeze. As we walked into the condo we were like “oh yeah this is us”. We felt so at home. We will go back to Annie’s condo anytime. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for the perfect spot to vacation.

I enjoyed staying here. The price was great, the location had a lot of restaurants, and Alan was a great host. Alan is a responsive host who helps when he can. The location seems safe, the parking is spacious for Waikiki, and I think it was one of the best deals I've had on AirBNB in a long time. I think if you enjoy and want a night life in Waikiki it's a good place to stay. At the same time, the location is placed in a good area for those who want to leave Waikiki without too much hassle. The only thing I would consider next time to prepare for is that some nights it can be a little noisy at night, but I think most of Waikiki is this way. Overall it was a great place, thank you very much.

Had a wonderful stay! The view was amazing. Loved the beach!! Most days we were the only ones there or with very few people. Our host gave clear instructions and gave a bunch of recommendations of places to eat. We went to almost all of them and really enjoyed them. We quickly received a response with any questions we had. We loved our stay at Jackie’s condo. It was exceptional in every way. It is immaculate and well-appointed with everything we could need. We especially appreciated the sand toys and books for the kiddies and ample beach gear/beach towels and wagon to cart the gear. Upon request, Jackie was so kind to provide fragrance free laundry detergent. Thank you!! The Beach Villas resort complex is superb, with lovely pools and spas. It is adjacent to Lagoon 2, which is more cozy and less crowded than the other lagoons. The condo itself is in a prime location for a gorgeous view. Highly recommend. We plan to come back again!

We were in Waikiki to celebrate the Christmas holiday! Jessicas unit was clean, spacious and comfortable! The pool area was a huge bonus as was the cable tv and on floor laundry which was always available when needed. The parking pass for the garage was handy as parking in Waikiki is pricey. Beach, stores and restaurants all within walking distance. Book this unit if you have the chance for your Hawaiian holiday, you will not be disappointed. The Ko Olina condo was spacious, peaceful and located in the most beautiful beachfront setting. You had views of the ocean from every room including both bedrooms. The kitchen was very functional with upgraded appliances, dishes and appurtenances. The grounds of the condo were wonderful with swimming pools, hot tubs, barbecues, and a large koi pond. Outside the gated facility was a walkway leading in both directions to other beachfront hotels and restaurants or to the private lagoon straight ahead. You will be hard pressed to find a nicer condo on the island of Oahu!

This was our second time staying at the Ko’Olina timeshares and it was just as magical as the first time! Our villa was so beautiful and everything about this place was amazing. Love our host and all the friendly staff that works there. They really know the meaning of ALOHA and makes you feel so welcomed. I would definitely stay here again and book through Denice! Pictures don’t do its justice. The place is even more beautiful in person. Our family made such wonderful memories here and we will cherish these times forever! Thank you Denice & Team! The location can not be beat. On the other side of the island from Waikiki which is perfect for some peace and quiet. Beach near the house is great for snorkeling as well as not crowded at all. Host was great leaving very clear instructions as well as a nice welcome basket with local treats. Will definitely be returning to this house if we come back to Oahu. Thank you so much Amanda for letting us enjoy your home during our vacation.

Our stay at this wonderful place was truly unforgettable! The apartment is fantastic, and the view from the balcony is absolutely breathtaking. Watching the sunset from there was magical, and if you're lucky, you might even spot whales! The unit has everything you need for a comfortable stay, and a huge bonus is the direct access to a beautiful beach right from the complex. Barbara is an amazing host—she genuinely cares about her guests and goes above and beyond to make sure all their needs are met. We had an incredible time and would love to come back. Highly recommend this place!

Nalani and Keith were wonderful. It was the first time I've had a host meet me for an airbnb; but it was definitely helpful when it came to check-in. Having a private, gated, reserved parking spot was great. It definitely made using a rental car extremely easy. The location of the condo is fantastic. You essentially get your own elevator (theres only 1 other condo on the floor) which made getting to and from the room extremely easy and rather private. All of the amenities were also outstanding. The 2 pools, hot tubs, and easy access to the lagoon made outside stuff easy to get to. Also, the little things really stood out. They had beach chairs and snorkels and all sorts of things that they allowed us to use as well. It was truly a home away from home. Definitely had a wonderful time and would FOR SURE rent with Nalani and Keith again in the future if they will have us. Mahalo!!!

This place is a hidden gem. The beach was easily the best we have stayed on in Hawaii. We saw sea turtles swimming near shore and whales in the distance, daily! The unit was clean and just as pictured. They had everything we needed for a fun day at the beach. We also enjoyed exploring the state park north of the unit. The only drawback, and it was minimal, was the traffic in the evening getting to and from the unit.
