Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Kaanapali Beach

The location was good for us with easy access to the beach and other island sites. House is well stocked with kitchen accessories, beach going toys, towels, chairs, boogie boards, etc. Owners were responsive and communicated well. House was spacious and met our needs.

We loved our stay at Peter’s place! There was a pretty big storm that caused some issues with the power but Peter was very helpful in getting us rigged up with backup power and we very much appreciated it!!

We have never had a friendlier, more flexible AirBnB host than Jacque- truly delightful. We love Paia, but visitors need to know this is not “glitzy” Maui (but that’s why we like it). Super convenient to walk to restaurants but because it’s set back from the main road, no road noise- very peaceful for sleeping! Nearby Baldwin Beach is one of the best on the north shore. Great jumping off point for Toad to Hana. Only small issue is the washer/dryer is shared with an adjacent house and it always seemed to be in use.

Simply put - what an incredible spot in South Maui. If back on island, we would be happy to stay here again. Traveling with young kids is easy here as Sandra provides plenty of toys and beach gear to ensure everyone in the family is happy and comfortable.

This was a perfect Airbnb stay. Everything was immaculate. Everything we needed was there to use. The hosts were very communicative and friendly. Overall, it was a very comfortable stay. I would definitely choose to stay here again.

Luan’s place is clean and cozy. It has everything you need stay in. Full kitchen with all cooking items make you not want to eat in restaurant :). He is very responsive too.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the Turtle House. Poni was wonderful, location made us feel like we were locals. Beaches were amazing, so many fun restaurants to choose from. Her guide book was second to none, recommendations were spot on. We will definitely stay here again.

Monica is responsive and communicative. Her home is in a quiet location with beautiful surroundings yet walking distance to everything you might want or need. The home is comfortable and well furnished. We'd stay again if we return to the area.

Manolo is a very helpful and proactive host. He made sure that we were okay and had everything we needed. House is pretty, with a beautiful yard. Manolo has snorkeling equipment, flippers, boogie boards, etc. House is close to the restaurants of Paia Bay (10 min walking), which is great because parking is always a problem in Maui.

My family and I had the pleasure of staying at Tamsen’s condo in Kihei. Tamsen was incredibly responsive from the moment I reached out with an inquiry about her property, and she was very helpful throughout our stay. Tamsen offered great tips on local restaurants and activities. The location of the condo is perfect, only a couple of minutes walking distance to the beach! We got to see some amazing sunsets and turtles right there on “our” beach! The property itself was very clean and equipped with all the amenities one could need. The lanai faces the garden, and a couple of beautiful tropical trees provide some privacy from other tenants and traffic heading to the pool. The place is so quiet that I slept through a thunderstorm that knocked down power lines in Kihei and other parts of Maui. About 21,000 customers were affected, so we headed out for a day at the beach! Power was restored by the time we returned! Another beautiful day in paradise! Mahalo!

Great place to stay. Close to world class surfing at Ho’okipo and Jaws. Affordable place in Paia. We all had a great time here! Spoiled with such a close place to the famous Mama’s Fish House and beach. Definitely recommend!

Brie's AirBnB was the perfect mini vacation for us and our children. Highlights: We enjoyed going out the back patio to the private pool on the property. The AirBnB is on the ground floor which also made it easier to come and go. But the main part is we ALL felt at home. Plenty food places to go to. We went to Nalu's and Kihei Caffe :) We are so very grateful synchronicity brought us to Brie's Airbnb. Mahalo for the last-minute booking!

Amy’s place was very clean and tidy. Check and checkout was a simple and straight forward. Nice neighborhood with great neighbors.

What a perfect place to stay in Kihei! Everything from check-in to check out was a breeze. I loved the location - close to restaurants and the beach. The unit was very clean and well equipped with cooking pans, utensils and even cooking oil! Mae was a wonderful hostess and very communicative! I'll definitely stay here again!

My family of 4 (two adults, two young children) stayed at Ed and Cherie's condo for 6 nights over the Thanksgiving holiday. We appreciated the amenities that were available, especially beach chairs, umbrellas, a beach blanket, sand toys, a high chair, and a pack n play. The kitchen had basic ingredients including olive oil, spices, and some condiments. The back bedroom stayed cool enough to sleep if we left the door open and the living room A/C unit on overnight, but with only the fans and window open it was stuffy for us. The master bedroom was pleasantly chilly by morning.

Has everything you need! From places to eat to items you can bring with you to the beach! Felt at home and didn’t have to worry about anything needed.

An incredible location and quality furniture that we all appreciated when we arrived after long flights. Walkable to everything you could possibly need. Megan was extremely responsive and helpful. Hands down 10/10.

Couldn't have asked for a better host. Lori was super responsive and we always stay at Maui Vista when in Kihei and love having a ground floor unit. The condo was clean and had everything you need to make it feel like home. Lori was super responsive and attentive. A power surge fried a tv during our stay and in less than a day Lori was able to quickly fix the issue. Would definitely stay again and recommend Lori as a host.

It's a quiet hotel (4 adults, 1 child) and I rested well. It's close to the beach and has grass on the 1st floor, making it great for running around. (We also have baby salamanders :-)! The pool is open for kids late at night and I was happy to see the twinkling stars. However, it was a pity that there were ants in the kitchen.
