Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Joshua Tree

Our recent stay at Homestead Modern in Joshua Tree was absolutely great. The management team was extremely helpful and super easy to work with. The made our stay so easy and comfortable. I highly recommend their place and we will surely visit them again.

If you’re looking to find a peaceful getaway in the high desert then look no further. This home has all the features one needs to recharge and rejuvenate. From sitting on the couch looking at the long range views to soaking in the hot tub you will feel nothing but peace and relaxation. The hosts have created a warm atmosphere that made me and my partner feel right at home. I can’t recommend this home enough.

This place was truly wonderful! Exactly as described in listing, beautiful and peaceful. It's far enough off the 29 that it truly feels like another planet, sunset/sunrise were stunning. Hosts were very kind and communicative. I was evacuating the fires in LA and they were flexible and upfront about the power shut offs in the valley. Good people!

Crystal was very communicative before, during and after our stay. She was very attentive to our needs and flexible with our check-in. The house was beautiful and peaceful!

We had a peaceful time on our trip to Ryan & Darnie's home. We booked last minute during the first couple days of the Los Angeles wildfires because the air in our L.A. neighborhood was not safe to breathe. As soon as we arrived at the house we felt at home. Ryan and Darnie proactively sent over LED candles, flashlights, and treats for us since Joshua Tree was having rolling blackouts due to high winds. We loved the large space, the washer and dryer came in handy, we enjoyed the big TV and backyard. Just a few minute drive from the main drag where we grabbed food at the Dez and Pie in the Sky. Even though our trip to Joshua Tree was an evacuation for us, this home made it feel like a vacation. Would definitely stay here again!

Great stay close to the park and restaurants. Stayed here with my family for a little getaway, had everything we needed and more. Definitely recommend.

Very enjoyable stay! A friend and I stayed the night and found it to be perfectly comfortable for two people. Amanda left excellent instructions as to how to check in. It was easy to arrive and settle in quickly! I would gladly stay here again!

Audrey was amazingly kind and we felt right at home at her lovely place. Her home was a wonderful, peaceful retreat and very close to everything to do in Joshua Tree. We also brought our 2 kitties and she was so accommodating and even set up water for them before we arrived :) Thank you so much Audrey!

We stayed for one night Michael’s place was perfect… If out in the Joshua tree/Twentynine palms area for the weekend or just for a night I recommend to look for his place and book

The studio was very cozy! It was what we needed for our Joshua Tree trip- comfortable beds, AC, kitchen, and we loved the added amenities of the pool after a long day of hiking and the deck for stargazing (the skies were clear and incredible). Thank you for hosting!

The co-host was extremely helpful and responsive. She gave me a list of things I could do in the area & made sure I found the place okay. Everything was super clean and comfortable, I would totally come back. It’s a great place to get some piece and quiet.

Tracy and Colleen's place is comfortable and functional. The bed and pillows are also very comfortable + the place had everything you need for short and long term stays. The outdoor space is also delightful. We loved watching the sunset everyday from the front porch with the birds and the occasional bunny or desert squirrel. The location is great. We loved how close it is to the National park. We stayed for almost 3 months and enjoyed our stay. Tracy and Colleen were responsive and easy to communicate with. We had a couple concerns upon check-in and they were prompt in answering and handling our concern. We both work from home and they were kind to leave a desk for us which was super helpful. Thank you again.
