Beachfront holiday rental in Jonkoping County

We had a fantastic stay in this beautiful house! We really felt very comfortable here, both in the house and in the magnificent surroundings. We were out on the lake by boat and could even catch fish which was a real highlight. In addition, we made beautiful excursions in the area and slept wonderfully every night. The fresh eggs from the chickens were great, and we really enjoyed spending time with the cats, dog Ronja, the chickens and of course your lovely cows. We particularly liked the loving little things in and around the house, and as a little extra we even found a geocache nearby. Thanks to the warm temperatures, we also dared to go swimming! We were able to enjoy the stay from the first minute to the last minute. Everything was as described and Tomas very friendly and helpful. The house offers the opportunity to get completely out of everyday life and enjoy nature and tranquility, whether in the living room or outside on one of the 3 terraces. The sauna and the lake offer additional recreational value.

Pia is a very nice, open, helpful person. The plot is super nice and the lake has very clear water. We are already thinking about booking our next holiday there.

It was a lovely place and Christian was a great host. We were there in November, and it was so cozy in the cabin at night. The facilities were great!

We spent almost two weeks in Alvasjö with a family of 8. The place is nothing less than magic. A lovely house, renovated just the way it should be, leaving the historic parts and gently adding modern needs. Sara and Ed were really helpful, always there when needed and very easy to contact. Excellent communication. The area is beautiful, went canoeing, rowing, fishing, mountainbiking, SUP, hiking, Sauna ob the lake, mushroom and blueberry picking. It was not „just another holiday“, it was more than what we all dreamed of when it comes to „holiday in Sweden“. Will certainly come back, a must go when you want to experience a comfortable and exciting holiday in the middle of wonderful swedish nature. Many many thanks for everything, Sara and Ed!

We were received a nice reception from Christian and his mother Siv who, among other things, told us where to bike. She also mentioned it was the fall market on the island for the weekend, so we stayed an extra night. The host lived in the house next door so if we had any problems, it would have been easy to get help. But we were so happy with the cabin. Since they, in addition to meat cows, also have chickens, we were welcomed with a pack of eggs. Lovely with fresh eggs! Amazing communication, fantastic location with bubblepool. Your own parkplace and a really calm area with nature around it. You will love it!

Great place on the water with boat, good fishing opportunities. Sauna and hot tub are both wood-fired. Being able to swim in the lake and cool off after the sauna. House was everything present, not as spotlessly clean everywhere. Large garden with lounge set and BBQ. Certainly subject to repetition for us.

We had a great stay at the house. The house is located in a very quiet and scenic area. Perfect for families with trampolines in the garden and no traffic. Relatively short distance to e.g. Astrind Lindgren's World. All in all, a wonderful stay and we would love to come back to Pers' house another time.

We immediately felt very comfortable in the villa of Ewa. Everything is decorated with so much love for detail - wonderful. The spacious house is beautifully situated on the lake. We could often go canoeing. There is a great garden with lots of seats to relax. We enjoyed the time very much. Ewa is really very nice and helpful.

Very nice stay with two families in the comfortable and cozily furnished house of Sandra and Peter. There is more than enough space for 10 people. Our children also had a great time and there were plenty of opportunities for them to enjoy themselves in and around the house. The lake with beach is a few meters away. In addition, the nearby cute village of Gränna and the historic island of Visingsö were nice to visit and you can enjoy hiking in the wooded area. In short, very nice holiday and we thank Sandra and Peter for the hospitality!

Hello, we were warmly welcomed by Dahn's son and we were shown everything necessary in peace upon arrival. We met Dahn himself a few days later. Incredibly friendly, we were welcomed a second time and warmly welcomed. The friendliness is not intrusive and it is very private despite the proximity of the cottage to the residential building. If you are looking for peace and quiet, you will love the accommodation. It is so quiet on the lake that our "Ruhrpott stressed ears "had to get used to the absolute tranquility. So those who like rowing, fishing, chilling, cozy grilling on the lake, swimming or also collecting mushrooms, will love it here. Our dog was also very welcome. We will definitely come back again. The house was great! The hot tub was really nice and also the sauna! Can really recommend the place. Very nice surroundings and you feel peace and quiet. Leif was a perfect host. Great, clear and quick communication. Happy to go here again!

We loved Nicklas and Pia’s place. It was super cozy and had everything we needed for a short skiing gateaway. Isaberg is exactly 20min away (by car) and supermarkets in a town closeby - 10min away. We loved the besutiful views over the lake, the well-equipped kitchen and clean, well-renovated interior. We will be happy to come back to this little oasis again!

Great host. Warm welcome and all the time available when anything was needed. The place was above expectations and perfect for those who want water and sauna tightly tied to the actual residence. A real pleasure and we would love to come back!

The cottage is small but very well equipped. A full kitchen including dishwasher. Good and well-functioning toilet and shower. There is also a washing machine. The room is well decorated with a closet and dresser with several drawers. In order to use the TV, you must be able to log in to the Chromecast. Great porch with roof and several seating areas. Parking possibility next to the cabin. The cottage is close to Helgasjön in an area of natural beauty close to Kronoberg castle ruin.
