I had an optional conference on the other side of town and was hesitant to book a motel for personal and financial reasons. It's been a hot minute since I booked just a room in someone's home so I was nervous and wavering on whether to cancel. I took a chance and am so glad I did. From the price to the pictures and description of her home, I sensed she was a kind and open minded person. She responded immediately to every question I had until the day of and upon arrival and even during my stay. The home is exactly as pictured and more cozy, warm, and inviting in person. I loved how clean and spotless the room and bathroom were. The ease of access to the kitchen and fridge. Oh and the furry friends! Showers were plenty hot and bed was cozy and warm. Above all, Stephanie was a kindred spirit and Im so grateful I trusted my gut and stayed at the Gypsy's Retreat.

Susie’s cottage was perfect for my needs - I’m a travel nurse & needed a place to come home to Clean- comfortable bed (love the adjustable bed) Susie was very friendly, smart, & responsive to my needs. I locked myself out and she came right over & let me in I would stay there again !

Nice gem in wrightsville! Very clean house (something quite important to me) basic needs were met, would definitely stay here again in the future.

This is the perfect getaway for any kind of group gathering, as the cabin easily sleeps several people. The beds are comfortable and most of them have cotton sheets. Beautiful cabin in a private and secluded area of the countryside. The fire pit was also nice.

Beautiful cabin in very peaceful surroundings. A little difficult to find in the dark as the cabin is set at the back of the property but nothing that impacted our stay and the distance from the main road meant there was zero road noise. Grounds are well kept, enjoyed morning coffees out by the pond and lighting fires in the outdoor fireplace. Cabin was clean and well furnished. We were a family of 3 with a 5 year old boy, the main bed was so large he insisted on bunking with us and we had plenty of room but the sofa bed was available with linen provided. Plenty of towels and other items. Erwin was extremely responsive to any message sent, responding within minutes to any question we had. Location was perfect for a local hunting trip with friends who live in town. Close to local restaurants and grocery stores. Will stay again next time we are visiting friends in town!

I recently had the pleasure of staying here, and I can't recommend it enough! From the moment I walked in, I was struck by how cozy and inviting the space felt. It was so nice to truly relax after traveling. If it weren’t cold I could easily have walked downtown. Highly recommend grabbing lunch or dinner at Garcia’s Taqueria right down the street! Our host did a fantastic job of stocking the place with all the essentials I needed for my stay. From kitchen supplies to toiletries, everything was thoughtfully provided, making my experience even more enjoyable. Overall, this Airbnb exceeded my expectations. If you're looking for a cozy and convenient place to stay, this is it!
