Beach house holiday rentals in Johanna Beach

We had an amazing stay. The unit was absolutely lovely, with big rooms that included heating options which was a relief as we travelled with our toddler. Even though it is a unit, it had a lot of space and didn’t feel cramped. The location was amazing with the beach across the road and restaurants all in walking distance. Such a lucky find for our family trip away.

The place is just perfect, finished to a super high standard and just a perfect location and layout.

Fantastic home all high end furniture original art work and great kitchen. Outdoor living space and view incredible. Would highly recommend this Airnb.

Kayleen’s home is beautiful, spacious, cozy, and full with thoughtful touches. We especially loved the garden, which can be seen from the living room, bedrooms and the kitchen. Kayleen is so kind and friendly, and even left some fresh eggs from her chooks in the fridge for us — what a treat! We had a lovely stay and would definitely want to come back again.

This is our second stay at Kareka and it was just as comfortable and well equipped as last time. There is nothing nicer than falling asleep to the sounds of crashing waves in a warm, soft bed. Has all the amenities you need for a relaxing getaway, and a convenient drive to nearby shops and other sites of the beautiful Otways. Thank you Sally and Kate, for being great hosts!

Stayed from December 27 to January 2, the house was central to everything in Apollo Bay. A really cosy home, very clean and comfortable. Very quiet. Would highly recommend.

Had a really lovely stay here. Perfect for a multi-generational family with lots of space. Short walk to Jan Juc beach and a short drive into Torquay.

The place was super clean and it is better than the pictures. The location is super beautiful as well. Theres a beautiful beach right when you cross the roads. Shops are about 5 mins as welll. Loved it x

Great place to stay, walking distance to all the main highlights of Airey's Inlet. Kate was excellent with communication. We would definitley stay here again.

We had a fantastic time at Sally's place and recommend it. Highlights were the large living spaces, the well equipped kitchen (with excellent coffee machine), the pool (delightful, large, and warm!), the very comfortable beds, the two bathrooms (and outdoor shower), the location (unbeatable - quiet, no traffic noise, a few short minutes to the cliff top walk and Sunnymead beach). We really had a perfect week here. The only thing that would have improved this stay for us would be fly screens on bedroom windows and/or fans or cooling in every bedroom. I think we were here during quite still weather, but it was also not super hot (under 30 Celsius during the day) and we found it bit hard to cool the upstairs bedrooms at night. The bunk room upstairs was particularly hard to cool down (in still weather only). But the other two upstairs bedrooms have ceiling fans, and one of those has aircon which helped greatly. Thank you for having us Sally, we are already devising a return trip!

We had three generations in Marnie’s house & it was great, plenty of room for all of us & the pool was definitely a winner. A very short walk to the beach, cafes & shops. Everyone was very impressed with everything. Marnie left us a welcome pack which was a lovely & thoughtful surprise. Thank you Marnie for making everything so easy 😊

Great house and location managed very well by Melissa who had a lot to manage with the pool electronics suddenly unrepairable from the moment we arrived leaving it inoperable and unable to be used. A few days passed before it became apparent that it was not likely repairable in the time frame of our stay. A genuinely apologetic response from Melissa and efforts to make things work or compensate with a full refund for our time spent to leave then or 50% off the full stay was offered for compensation which I thought was very fair and reasonable. In all other ways the house is wonderful with little to fault it. A larger or second sofa in the generous main living area I think would suit the house numbers for gathering together. In all other respects the house offers a generous and luxurious experience with Melissa and Scott being wonderful hosts.

A great beach getaway in the perfect secluded location. Close to Anglesea but not too close to deal with the busy crowds. Amazing beach location and house has every amenity you could need and wish for. The spa and log fireplace was a special!

Great stay in Torquay with the family. The home is very spacious, is in walking distance to the beach and Main Street. Everything you needed was there including board games. Matt’s instructions on how to use everything was very clear and easy to understand. Would definitely recommend.

Our family of 6 enjoyed a wonderful 10 night stay at Bridgette’s place. Her communication was prompt and helpful with lots of handy suggestions provided in the lead up to our stay eg. where to go for great coffee. Our kids loved the pool area and we all enjoyed the relaxing adjoining spa - they were used everyday despite the cooler weather at the beginning of our trip. Location is great - quiet and very close to the local shops and not too far from the beach, hubby enjoyed walking to the beach every morning. The house was modern, spacious, comfortable and clean. Highly recommend and would happily stay there again given the opportunity. Thanks Bridgette.

Great location, lovely residence and the koala in the backyard along with the cockatoos that joined us for breakfast of a morning were a real highlight.

Our two families stayed at David’s Aireys home. David was communicative and called to welcome us when we got there. Their beach house felt like a home not a sterile rental. All the beds and sheets were of a high standard which always makes a holiday more pleasant. The outdoor shower surrounded by natives was a hit. Easy walk to the beach and also the pub, even with young kids. Would definitely recommend and we hope to stay again. Thank you

We had a great stay with our pup over Christmas! The property is comfortable with a really well stocked kitchen and Sander is a great host, very responsive and he had some awesome recommendations for the local area, especially dog friendly ones. Would recommend for couples, or a small family looking to holiday with their dog - thanks again!

We could not fault a single thing during our stay at Chase’s home - it was perfect. Location is amazing only walking distance to the beach and a short drive to main Torquay. The house was spotless and all the essentials were provided. The backyard BBQ and fire pit area was beautiful we pretty much spent our entire stay out there. 10/10.

We enjoyed a relaxing week at Libby’s house, which is so well equipped just like home, plus gorgeous views from the upstairs bedroom. Good range of cooking options, lots of reading material and jigsaw puzzles, even shopping bags. Comfy couches, enough seating for our family group. Nice sheltered outdoor deck, and a doggy door too. The layout of Libby’s home suited our family with bedroom zones each with a modern and clean bathroom. Location is great, peaceful and quiet, yet able to walk to beach, general store and pub.
