A very cozy cabin surrounded by beautiful nature (4x4 car was nice to have to reach the accommodation). The communication with the host was great and the breakfast was delicious :)

Very nice place, in the way it seems that it goes in a not very nice place, but when arriving at the Airbnb it was completely other things, I would return without hesitation. I recommend it for an escape from the routine. Everything was very clean.

I don't think we could say enough about how much we loved our stay here. It is so beautiful and peaceful, the breakfast and coffee were delicious, and the hosts were welcoming and friendly. We're thinking we might want to come back over and over again. You will need a 4-wheel drive to get here, and make sure to visit the waterfall early in your visit! We made the mistake of not finding it until our last day. Definitely eat on site at the restaurant. It's really really lovely.

The rustic house is perfect for a quiet and private getaway. The house feels cozy. The fire pit and jacuzzi are great additions to the house. Waking up to the nature is amazing! Will stay there again.

Amazing overnight stay at Kevin David and Muriela's . We arrived at 3pm and they took the time to show us around their property. We had booked dinner and breakfast and these moments of sharing will remain engraved in our memory. They were welcoming, and did everything to make us feel at home. Seeing the sloths getting up was a magical moment. As for the accommodation, the cabin is well-equipped, we slept like babies. What a nice surprise on our route , Max 35 minutes from the shuttle to Tortuguero. Kevin David and muriela if you come to our place, we would love to host you. Pura vida ❤️

Very nice well equipped house with very nice touches from the owner (fruits, cold drink on arrival, bed and house linen in quantity, many amenities in the kitchen). Welcoming neighbors who are the very warm owner's family. Beautiful property located not far from many activities (timribina reserve 5 min away by car,...), where we saw a coati, an iguana, toucans and beautiful Ara. Recommended without hesitation.

Finca Guarumal is not just an Airbnb but an experience! I had planned a 20+km hike and found this Airbnb 8 min from the hiking trail. WOW am I glad I came across such a special and unique farm! The Airbnb was spacious, the kitchen was perfect with a large refrigerator, the bathroom was spa like and the washer and dryer is fantastic because I like packing light. Very clean and comfortable! Natalia created a cozy place! Beyond the Airbnb was the FARM and the surrounding beauty! Don Miguel, the owner of the farm for 40 years, is a breath of fresh air and has so much knowledge on both the animal life and flowers/trees! It was so amazing to walk the farm and the quiet roads and learn so much about nature. Also, the views are unmatched! The BEST part was the horses! I could have spent all day hanging out with the horses (and Don Miguel 😂). If you have a car there is so much to explore and do. Don Miguel can give suggestions based off of your interests. Thanks for a great experience!

The place is perfect for escaping and relaxing. Lots of nature, lots of birds and toucans that always visited us every morning. It is quite close to the guayabo monument, which we had the joy of visiting. Luis was very helpful with local recommendations and places to buy supplements and so on. Overall it was a very nice experience that we will surely repeat!

I would say it's one of the nicest (if not the nicest) budget-friendly places around. The view at night (or rather the lack of a view because of the overwhelming darkness) and the peace and quiet surroundings make for a great experience. The pool is super refreshing... And uncommon in the surroundings. The place is an amazing stay. And Andrea and Co. are very nice, discreet people who keep to themselves but are quick to be of service. 10/10 I would only point out, (and this is not Andrea's fault, it is Airbnb's) that when we reserved we were looking for a Place in Grano de Oro/Moravia. The listing said "Platanillo, " about 15 minutes past Grano de Oro. And so it looked in the map. Andrea's place is an hour and a half away form Grano de Oro waaay before arriving in "La Suiza"... not that far away distance wise... But rural roads will make you drive for longer. That said... We had a great stay despite the surprise of having a better-than-expected experience. Thanks!

This place was beautiful! Such a peaceful location and still easily accessible into Guapiles for groceries and into Braulio Carillo national park for some hikes! We didn’t have a car and Fabio arranged for his neighbor to drive us during our stay and even back to San Jose. Our stay was amazing and Fabio was incredibly helpful and responsive!

The apartment is just as advertised. The place where it is located is extremely quiet and the privacy is a big plus.

Eugenia’s place was dreamy, an excellent getaway after a hard week. Lupe is an outstanding person too. The place and nature made it peaceful. I recommend.

When you're looking for a place to relax, this is the spot! Enjoy on-property hikes through forests and waterfalls with amazing views over the central valley. We loved the rustic atmosphere of the wooden cabins, beautifully combined with modern furniture. The great porch is perfect for sitting outside, enjoying breakfast with the views, and at night, watching the lights of San José. It's simply the perfect mix of both rustic charm and modern comfort, ideal for a weekend getaway with the family. Our kids (9 and 11) had a blast exploring the adventurous surroundings, always finding something new to discover, like making a fire outside. 5 stars from us! Thanks, Silvia, for the great stay.

Alberto's place is phenomenal. It's a peaceful airbnb located on a coffee bean farm. The Airbnb has a cute path throughout the property that you can walk on and enjoy the Costa Rican scenery. The view from the Airbnb is gorgeous and the interior was clean and tidy. Would definitely stay here again.

If you are looking to be immersed in Costa Rican life and have a culturally rich and delicious experience -- I can not recommend this casita enough. The views are incredible and access to Maria's knowledge of the area, culture, climate and farming life crafts beyond unique experience. Turrialba is a growing tourist destination -- so get there before it catches on. Please note -- this is a farm stay in a rustic casita, think glamping vs hotel room. The roads are very windy and the farm road to access the casita was bumpy -- and so much fun! My husband, 5 year old and I felt very comfortable. Maria can arrange for farm to table meals to be provided which we took advantage of (delicious!) and we got to see her store + farm!

We were absolutely treated like royalty while at Cesar’s property. He has a completely bilingual team that acts as your personal concierge and travel consultants while you’re there. We were set up with our own personal taxi service and we even had available to us meal preparation and a chef.
