Our stay was wonderful and the proximity to Harper's Ferry is nice as you can take a 6.5 mi hike on the Appalachian Trail into town. The home is nice, spacious, and welcoming and the wood stove is wonderful and helps keep the house toasty. Our host was very communicative and let us check in late which was helpful because we had a long drive to get there and arrived at night. He also allowed us to check out late because there was no one arriving afterwards which was super nice. Everything was as described and we greatly enjoyed our stay. Thank you. The only minor things to note was that the road up to the house is very steep and bumpy as described so definitely need a 4x4 to get up the hill. Also, the coffee pot was not releasing coffee that it was brewing (looked like the mechanism inside was not functional). But there was plenty of instant coffee so not a huge deal.

This place is everything that an Airbnb was meant to be! It is so cozy with so many thoughtful touches, and the location is absolutely gorgeous with tons of stuff to do in the area. It was off the beaten path in a perfect way, but still very convenient and easy to get to and get around, with everything you need nearby. The host Chris was so kind and so responsive and he gave me a ton of great recommendations for the local area. As a woman traveling by myself, safety is always my top priority and I never felt wary even for a second. Hanging out in the hot tub during a snowstorm was a memory I won’t soon forget! My dog loved exploring the local area and I absolutely loved feeding the adorable piggies and having fresh eggs for breakfast every morning! I would stay here again and again and would recommend it to anyone.

We had a great stay at this beautiful home. The house is beautifully decorated with something special and interesting in every room. We enjoyed the large porch and yard. The house was exactly as described. The location is perfect to tour the historic towns nearby and Harpers Ferry!

This house is very nice!! Lots of room to hang out even a separate downstairs area with a gaming room !! Really comfortable furniture!! Beautifully furnished!! Fully stocked kitchen!!! Very close to Harper’s ferry, lots of hiking and some great restaurants! Jason and angel were great hosts!! A great place to get away to!!!

Absolutely beautiful location, perfect escape for the weekend. The fireplace, vista, grill, everything was what we needed Wish we could have stayed even longer! Great driving access to local points of interest. Ally’s wonderful hospitality made us feel right at home. She was so kind, communicative, and helpful. Perfect Airbnb Experience. The cabin is really cozy. Charming but with a decent amount of space. Great to have the enclosed porch and a firepit and not too far from Harper's Ferry. The loft is a fun treat and we didn't even notice the one neighbor that's close by. There were a lot of kitchen supplies as well as entertainment with games and TV and video games. Hours of fun with that alone.

Dan and Heidi’s place was perfect! They had truly thought of everything. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well-stocked, and there were plenty of extra towels and blankets. What made them especially stand out was the fire pit. They had already set up the kindling for us, there was a fire starter kit, they had chopped wood, and they provided s’mores ingredients. We would definitely stay here again!

We had a lovely weekend staying at Dean’s house. The house is beautiful and so are the views! Sunrise from the upstairs bedroom was gorgeous. The patio was enclosed and a great spot to hang out. We absolutely loved the fireplace and plenty of wood was provided. Town is right outside the door and super walkable. Easy to take a dog out if you’re thinking of bringing one! We will definitely return! Thanks for a great weekend!!!

We really enjoyed our stay! The backyard was very spacious for our dog to run around in. The town lost power for 6 hours while we were there and the owners promptly dropped off candles and flashlights to help us out. Would definitely stay again!

We had a lovely stay and will definitely return. The home is directly on the Potomac river with beautiful river views. The home is a split duplex and you have an adorable apartment all to yourself with a wood fireplace, 2 bedrooms, walk in shower, and direct access to the hot tub overlooking the water. You barely notice the upstairs apartment other than the occasional sounds of footsteps above. All tvs are smart tvs with steaming capability. The hosts are very friendly and have excellent restaurant recommendations! This is a hidden gem and a great deal!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with Tricia. It was very clean and spacious with everything you need. It's all on one level with no access steps, so it was perfect for our dog with stair mobility issues. Beautiful windows at a level where my dog Angus could watch the deer. In the summer, there are tons of outdoor activities in the area. Highly recommend, would stay again.
