Holiday houses in Jaywick

Great accommodation for 3 of my colleagues to stay in for the week whilst working close by. Andy was a great host and fast at communicating if we had any questions. We booked for a second week straight after as we could guarantee a great stay. Thank you :)

Gita is a wonderful host and is always there if needed. We have stayed at her place various times. Gita’s place is a wonderful place to stay at and we will always come back for future visits.

The caravan was very clean and warm despite being very cold outside! The caravan was situated in a quieter are of the site.

Great stay, booked last minute to visit family and loved our stay so much we will definitely book again. Perfect location for the seafront - parking space is such an advantage, the house was very clean. Thank you Kelly

The bakehouse was a great, we had wonderful time the house have everything that you need to feel comfortable and everything it’s 5 min less walking distance. Great place and host . Definitely recommendable

David and Jo were excellent hosts. Every little detail had been carefully thought out, and taken care of. They were extremely kind and thoughtful throughout our stay, and could not have been more helpful. The cottage itself is so charming, and beautifully presented. Quiet and peaceful, a perfect haven to come back to. We will most definitely be back.

Scarlet’s caravan is pristine and comfortable plus the outside space is a real bonus. It’s a couple of minutes walk to the seashore which has great views over the estuary with lots of different birds at low tide including oystercatchers, curlews, turnstones and ringed plovers. You can catch the foot passenger ferry from the nearby country park to Brightlingsea which is a great day out. West Mersea is fantastic for seafood - try the Company Shed for sweet tasting oysters and fresh, fresh crab. Scarlet is an excellent host, she even replied to a text from me on her hen night. You can’t ask for more than that! A word of caution, we didn’t read through the full list of amenities so missed that towels are not provided! No criticism of Scarlet, and a lesson to me. All in all a great experience and we would definitely return

Comfortable, cozy stay in a rural farm stay. We used public transport to get there. Buses are ~2.5 hours apart. There is a village shop 15 min walk away which has small selection of frozen food/sandwiches/milk/bread/egg and other groceries. Own vehicle is preferred to explore the area properly. Kids were happy to see the animals and feed them. Wendy rightly informed us that swimming pool was not operational at that moment before accepting our request.
