This our second stay at Shanna’s place. We just love it for quick romantic getaways. This trip we stayed in for dinner and made steaks. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our meal. It was lovely. Breakfast at the Sunshine Restaurant is always delicious. We checked out the Palisades for some scenery and then did some antiquing the next day. We didn’t get to use the hot tub this time because of extreme winter temperatures but, I loved the claw foot tub for a long hot bath. The bed is super comfortable and we both slept great! Shanna is a helpful and friendly host who is always looking for ways to make your stay special. We couldn’t ask for a better host. I’m already looking forward to our next stay!

Beautiful home. Showing need of some freshening up on some repairs and painting some furnishings could be replaced like the kitchen table. We booked a last minute trip and perhaps that is why we received a discount but had I paid full price I would not be happy at all. Over all a wonderful stay. Home is beautiful.

We had the BEST time. The cabin and acreage were breathtaking. Our kids had a blast playing, fishing, catching frogs and more. The cabin was small but perfect for our needs, we loved the porch overlooking the view. The kitchen/bathroom are very small (historic property!) but well equipped. Cabin stayed pretty cool even in the heat of the day, but A/C is there if you need it. We would totally visit again! Hosts were very responsive and friendly!

A great place with kids. We had a very short stay but were very warmly welcomed at the door. The pets were super friendly and made quick friends with our sons. The restaurant recommendations were spot on and the immediate area is quiet and walkable. I would recommend this place to families that love space and animals. The hosts are nice people who go out of their way to make you feel at home!

Our second time at this property. Love that each bedroom has a bathroom. Very comfortable beds. Lots of towels in bathrooms. Very quiet at night. Nice you added a coffee bar and huge sectional in living room Highly recommend this property. House while spacious is also very comfortable.

Came back for a 3rd year in a row for a girls weekend and once again an excellent stay. The attention to detail in this home is excellent with kitchen well stocked and labeled, hot tub clean and ready to go, excellent upgrade with downstairs theatre room and very comfortable beds. Would definitely rent again!

The place was perfect. Everything was as described. Very clean and comfortable. Lovely settling and very relaxing, plus anything you could need was provided. The guest book was very informative. Quick ride to downtown. I will definitely check in to renting this spot again on my next visit in the near future. I’d love to stay again, it was so cozy I hated to leave! Thank you for your hospitality!

Loved our lazy time at this beautiful house! Despite some crazy fog we were able to enjoy the beautiful view! Home is comfy with plenty of room to spread out. Kitchen was also great! Danesa provided lots of great info! Hope we can visit again!
