Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Ithaca

We had a wonderful stay!! The house has so much character and is tastefully updated to be comfortable. Great layout and sleeping options, plenty of room - it was perfect for our needs!

Staying at Mara's house was exactly what we needed to welcome in 2025. The house itself is immaculate, well appointed, comfortable and has incredible lakefront views to tie it all together. Getting around the Cayuga Lake area was so easy from where the house is located and there are even some incredible wineries and breweries minutes away. The layout and setup of the house was very thoughtfully done and everything we needed (and more) was there. 10/10 excellent stay.

We loved staying at Yuan and Kevin’s place. It was spacious, well stocked, and spotless. Would definitely give them an enthusiastic recommendation!

nice stay ! Crystal was very quick to respond to my questions and made sure I had everything I needed.If you have pups and travel with them Crystal's place is very pet friendly. I have to say the bed was very comfy best rest I have gotten in a rental.

We were looking to host a retreat for the trustees responsible for running a creative problem solving program for kids in the state of New York. Our experience at Heywood Manor was nothing less than exceptional. The location, the house along with its amenities combined with a gracious host made it a memorable weekend. I'm trying to think of a reason to return just to experience it again!

Large comfortable and quiet home with everything we needed for our visit to Geneva. Conveniently located a short drive from shopping, restaurants and vineyards/breweries.

Laura, Denny, Emily and Justin were great hosts, adapting to changes in our plans, supervising family visitors for a tour of the animals, clearing and salting the snowy entryways, just being their friendly and helpful selves. The location was lovely and the house had more amenities than one could expect. We hope F House will be available next time we visit our Syracuse family.

The apartment was very clean and cozy! I felt right at home at Jane's place. Speaking of Jane- she is phenomenal! Very responsive and a caring individual! She left us welcome gifts from local spots and everything she left was delicious and she recommended some great local places as well. My husband and I will definitely be returning and are super thrilled we had such a lovely getaway and lovely host!

This home is perfect if you like a clean, comfortable, well designed get-away. Perfect space for 2. Highlights include: thoughtful, semi-scandinavian design; looks out on beautiful yard; comfortable bath, living and sleeping spaces; and good functional kithchen. Private even though Keith and family were in the main house. Keith responded quickly to the few questions I had.

Very clean apartment and wonderful communication with host. Plenty of space and seating. Parking space assignment letters are hard to see arriving in the dark. There are street parking ordinances in winter months (odd/even day/side parking). Apartment satisfied our needs and would definitely stay again.

Very private and quiet space. There were stairs to get to the walk out basement which was the entrance for the apartment. The front of the house that you see as you enter the driveway is not the same as the picture of the whole house so there was some confusion if I was at the right place. Inside was very spacious and clean.

Had a great stay Hot tub was relaxing. Branka added a lot of small touches and extra amenities that were very thoughtful. Super responsive host.

We stayed here for a family gathering over Christmas. We didn't ski, but we enjoyed walking to the water park. If you are into skiing, you'd also love this place. The gas fireplace is a nice touch. We had no issues with a large group and two bathrooms - the bathrooms are wisely paritioned so the shower or toilet can be used in privacy while others use the sink.

The “Traditional” apartment was great. Everything as described, pictured, and expected. We felt at home immediately. Such thoughtful surprises every corner in the apartment. Washer and dryer in bathroom was very convenient. Enjoyed dinner downstairs with our grandson. Great food and spirits! Slept like a baby in the comfortable bed. Ear plugs for me helped with busy morning traffic from the stop light corner outside; husband said he didn’t hear a thing! Loved seeing the neighborhood renovations; look forward seeing the progresses made in the future. Felt very safe walking our dog, even in the wee hours of night. Enjoyed window shopping; picked up some antique treasures from store next door. Look forward returning for more stores nearby. Truly a peaceful balcony seating, stargazing at night. Came for family Thanksgiving; will love to experience The Garage coffee shop outdoor seating in warmer season. We both really enjoyed our stay and will be back!

Rachel was an excellent host that went through great lengths to make our stay feel welcomed and enjoyable. She made the stay feel like a unique experience for visiting Ithaca.

This apartment was very convenient to the locations we were headed to. Did a day trip to Niagara Falls. It was very clean and nicely decorated. Had everything we needed. One thing to take into consideration when choosing this place is the fact that it’s in the heart of town. We were awakened early in the morning from the traffic and garbage truck.

This was an excellent fit for our family of four, with comfortable sleeping and hang-out space. Everything was extremely clean, and the environment welcoming and quiet. We enjoyed playing games at the kitchen table, having a well-equipped kitchen, laundry, and fitness room. We would love to be back when it's warmer to take advantage of the outdoor amenities and convenient walking location.

Lovely cabin that was perfect for our family! I would definitely come back!

Great plaxe, wish I could have stayed longer

We went for a Valentine/Birthday get away and Diane’s place was perfect! The condo was so clean and beautifully decorated. Diane has thought of everything one would need and we felt right at home. There are so many nice touches such as the sanitized linens, and the cheese and crackers in the fridge. We can’t wait to go back in warmer weather to be able to enjoy the private beach. Diane allowed an earlier check in due to the weather and her communication was excellent. We can’t say enough good things about our stay! If we could give more than 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ we would!
