Holiday houses in Itä-Lappi

Our family (2 adults, 3 children) enjoyed our stay in Ville's very spacious and spacious house. We have never had a better equipped kitchen! The location is very quiet, the house is in the forest, 3.5 km from the village of Pyhä. Based on the photos, we assumed that the house is alone in the forest. However, it has several houses nearby, but the neighborhood is very quiet and the access road is hardly used. The cross-country skiing trail is about 400 m away. There are many great winter activities in and around Pyhä. Ville was a great host. He was always available for our questions and responded very quickly. A note for future tenants: in the basic amenities it says that towels and bedding are included. However, this is not the case and can be rented for EUR 30 per person. We had a wonderful stay and would rent the house again at any time!

Lovely and atmospheric cottage! The stay exceeded our expectations. Peaceful location, well maintained property driveways. Elevator tickets are a really valuable addition. The host was hospitable, friendly, and flexible, communication was effortless. We highly recommend.

What a lovely stay we had here! The log cabin itself is stunning and beautifully furnished - super cosy! We stayed here in midwinter so we were surrounded by a gorgeous winter wonderland. Excellent location, set back from the road but very close to supermarket and places to organise your outdoor adventures. Very close to Ruka ski resort. Rami’s communication with us was brilliant, we didn’t need to ask him anything as everything was covered.

Our stay here was just perfect! The hot tub overlooking the starry sky and the new sauna are definitely a super plus here and the money for the place is totally worth it. Hans is an indescribably nice host, he helped us with all things and gave helpful tips on excursions, etc. We can definitely recommend a vacation to come to rest and explore the area around Ruka from the heart!

Fantastic stay. The house was beautiful, as advertised. Clean, spatious and great location on the lake. Comfortable rooms, nice sauna. Such a great stay, would definitively come back for a longer period!

We had an amazing stay! The property was impeccably clean and well-maintained. The location couldn’t have been better, 5 minutes from the Ruka Ski Station, making it incredibly convenient. I highly recommend this place without hesitation!

We were so sad to leave our peace of Lapland....this is the way all families should experience this beautiful country instead of falling into the tourist traps. The villa was outstanding, so clean and everything right where it should be. Using the hot tub and sauna every night was the perfect way to warm up after a chilly day. Our daughter's (3 & 6) had the time of their lives and had an extra touch of magic by meeting the lovely Miika and his dogs. We did the snowmobile safari, husky sledging (at artic wolf) and then ice fishing which easily gave us a nice relaxed agenda for our four days leaving plenty of time to go sledging and have strolls round the nature trails. If visiting, especially without a hire car, just make sure you stock up before leaving Rovaniemi as it's not a short trip there and back. Luckily Miika and his wife kindly rescued us by getting some essentials (beer, chocolate and wine!). Nothing was too much trouble and it really feels like they love having their guests

This place really made our trip very special and Janne and Eini were the kindest hosts I have had at an AirBNB. It was wonderful that they included ski passes; it saved us on private ski lessons, rental equipment, and let us use all the lifts and the gondola to get to the top of the slopes or even just to the new Base Heat and Eat. It was a great location that wasn’t too far from local restaurants but secluded enough to not be in the crowded areas. Having the sauna and fireplace and beautiful house was great to unwind from jet lag of our first couple days or fun filled activities later in the week. We saw the Auroras/Northern Lights twice from the house. Once faintly while we were in the jacuzzi and once from the from yard, completely bright and stretched across the sky. It was truly an unforgettable stay.
