Hotel holiday rentals in Isabela Island

A great place to stay on Isabella. We were able to walk to town and all the way to El Muro de las Grismas and back along the beach easily! A safe, beautiful hostel, I recommend it wholeheartedly!

Very clean and organized property. Great location. We were delighted to stay here. The hosts/ owners live on premises and manage the property expertly. Walking or cycling distance to most activities. Short 3 minute walk to the beach. We had an excellent stay and would not hesitate to return.

Great stay, great room, we loved breakfast. Omar in the breakfast area was attentive to our dietary needs, friendly and likable! We joked with him that his was "our favorite restaurant." Know that this is a hotel called La Laguna! It's not someone's home or apartment, more often seen on Airbnbs. Also, we never read that checkout was at 9a. Maybe that's on us but it wasn't told to us or reminded to us. It's literally the earliest checkout time we've ever had anywhere internationally, so would be good to make sure that guests know, as no one would assume that time (I always assume 11a unless otherwise told). Yes, they came to our door twice while we were packing to make sure we were leaving. I'm not mad at that but it was a bit stressful of an ending. I loved using the hot tub twice. You need to give them a 20-30 minute heads up so that they can fill it. Very enjoyable once in!

Maribel is a great host, super friendly, accommodating and cheerful. All of my communications were promptly responded to. The place was cozy, spacious and well furnished. And it was cleaned daily. There's a well equipped shared kitchen, spotless and never busy, as it's a small hospedaje with only a handful of guests. It's tucked away a bit farther from the beach, but the location is actually very pleasant and only minutes on foot from everything. I loved my stay and would happily come back any time. We had a great stay at Mariana Azucena's place! Mariana was very responsive to our messages throughout, and she and her family stopped by a few times to say hello and make sure we were comfortable. They also brought us flashlights during an island-wide blackout for a few hours and gave us recommendations on local places to visit. We were able to check-in after we arrived on an early morning ferry so we could make the most of the first day. The room was very spacious and clean, and the shared kitchen had great amenities. There were other guests staying there as well, but we all had enough space and privacy. AC and wifi both worked well. The property is right on the beach in a quiet spot, but one can easily walk to beachside bars from the home.

The room was as seen in the pictures, very nice to have a grocery store in the same building. Good location.

The island is expensive, which is why this home is too. Byron was really sweet and very helpful though. There is also the possibility of renting snorkeling equipment and a life jacket by him. Likewise, he is happy to help find a taxi
