Rebecca and Richard were wonderful hosts. Answered queries very quickly and gave great advice on where to eat locally. Would recommend The Swan at Blakedown! The house is simply perfect. Very well equipped and comfortable- plenty of room for 6! We would thoroughly recommend this peaceful cottage and might well book again 😁 Thank you to both of you.

Rose Cottage, a beautiful, private country cottage

EmlynRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had a lovely stay, and the accommodation was perfect for our needs. We all felt very at home and the cottage was even nicer in person than it looks on the photos. The cottage was easily the best stocked holiday accommodation we've stayed in - it has absolutely everything you'd need. We hope to stay again one day. Thanks for having us.

Another lovely stay at the lodge, with multi generational family having downstairs bedroom/ bathroom making this accessible. Enjoyed evening hot tubs and card games in the conservatory. Nice day out to Llangollen and shopping in Shrewsbury. Thanks

Our weekend away was great, 100% would recommend to anyone who wants a beautiful time away. Jane was a lovely and wonderful host with experience behind her belt which shows through when giving the tour of the house and grounds. She handled everything that we needed with efficiency. The house was beautiful, the scenery was lovely, it was very peaceful and we will be definitely be booking it again down the line.

The Coach House Barn Hot Tub-idyllic and rural

SaraRating, 5 stars6 months ago
We have just come back from a lovely weekend at The Coach House Barn. We were celebrating our friends birthday and it was the perfect getaway. The house was stunning and had a nice country cottage feel to it. We loved the luxury of the hot tub and also had great fun making pizzas and using the pizza oven. I would recommend this place for anyone who would like a relaxing weekend away with friends plus it was dog friendly so it was nice to be able to bring our dog along with us for the weekend. Wayne and Julie recommended The Ragleth Inn to us for a place to go for dinner on the Saturday night and the food was amazing plus it was dog friendly. Although we had a couple of issues during our stay Wayne, Julie and Ian sorted us out very quickly and they have all been resolved for future stays. We will definitely be booking this place again in the future!

Luxury Retreat, hot tub, dog friendly, rural walks

ElRating, 5 stars5 days ago
My partner and I really enjoyed our stay, it was the perfect little get-away. The area was beautiful and peaceful. After a two hour car journey the hot tub was needed and it was better than expected with lovely outdoors lighting! The hide away was spotless and had everything we needed with a lovely living space and kitchen. We had the best nights sleep and even managed to do a bit of stargazing through the skylight which was an added bonus. When we were unsure of certain things, we popped a text over to James and Corrina and they were quick to respond! Overall we had an amazing stay and will definitely be recommending to family and friends.

We had a lovely stay and Catherine went the extra mile and was great at communicating with us. The place was cosy and relaxing with everything you could possibly need facilities wise. The garden was beautifully looked after too, and I had a lovely morning coffee outside admiring the flowers. 10/10.

Amblewood Cottage

KevinRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful little cottage for 5 nights. It is such a wonderful property and had everything we needed to make our stay simply perfect. The locataion is exceptional and we loved the quiet tranquility of the place. The walks direct from the back garden into the woods and beyond were perfect for us and our adventuous dog Wilson. Vanessa was the perfect host with excellent communications prior to our stay, a quick hello and welcome when we arrived, and was very helpful with any questions we had about the property, the location and recommendations for places to eat out. We would highly recommend a stay and hope to be back in the future. Just perfect.

Centre of Ludlow, free parking and pet friendly

AngelaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Location was perfect for exploring Ludlow and all of its history and eateries. Close to market square; the castle and was still quiet and peaceful. We forgot our toiletries but fortunately the property is close to all the shops so that was no bother at all. The house itself was the perfect space, especially the enclosed garden for our two dogs. We really appreciated the old fashioned character of the property and would love to come back to Ludlow and stay again.

Long Cover Cottage

CatherineRating, 5 stars5 days ago
We had a delightful stay stay at the cottage, it exceeded all expectations and couldn't have been any more idyllic. From the moment we arrived the lovely host Ellie made us feel welcome with home made cupcakes and helping us after we were in a motor accident nearby, she saved our trip with a friend mechanic and couldn't have been any more accommodating throughout our stay. The cottage was beautiful, so cosy and the aga was on for our arrival. The entire place is full of Tudor charm, beautiful. The children also appreciated the toy box and Netflix. The surrounding gardens were like something out of a fairy tale and the children loved them, as well as the swings and and all the farm animals to watch. There ate several picturesque places to eat outside and little huts and mini buildings with seating. The surrounding countryside was stunning and it is conveniently located 3 miles from the pretty village of Tenbury Wells. We would recommend for a relaxing countryside break.

Period cottage in quiet location near Ludlow

StephenRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Great place for peace and quiet. Beautiful cottage surrounded by countryside and wildlife. Only minor point I can comment is on the electric shower. it would be lovely to upgrade to cylinder fed hot water (a mixer tap on bath with shower hose and head is all that's needed) as this didn't quite hit the mark. other than that, all great.

Spring Cottage, Est. 1850

We have had a lovely stay at Thomas & Amy’s house over the weekend. The cottage is small but had everything we needed and was very homely and comfortable. It has been decorated with thought and was beautiful. We had a great day walking the Stiperstones on Saturday and visit to Llangollen on Sunday. Thomas was very responsive to any questions we had and was a great host. Check in was very easy. The cottage was well priced. Thank you both for letting us stay - we’d love to come back 😊

Luxurious Ancient Cottage with Stunning Views

ElizabethRating, 5 stars3 months ago
We spent a wonderful Christmas week at Paul and John’s cottage. The building has been carefully and thoughtfully restored and is really snug and cosy. We found everything has been considered making it well equipped and extremely comfortable for any length of stay. The views across the Radnorshire Hills into Shropshire from the cottage are amazing and there are plenty of long-distance paths (Offa’s Dyke Path and Glyndwr’s Way) close by to use as the centre for some good walks. We can truly recommend this for a base for a holiday in a beautiful area of Wales.
