Nice clean home and great location to travel to Death Valley National Park and Red Rock Canyon. Was easy to locate home and to check in also has beautiful view or the mountains. Would definitely recommend and would love to come back!

Alex and Jhemma’s place is perfect for visiting Dead Valley. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking your own meals. We really felt at home!

This place has everything you need. The home itself is great and well supplied. Spectacular view. Awesome tub and pool. It’s also only a block from town and super close to world-class hiking. The beds are comfy. The kitchen is fully stocked. You won’t regret booking here. I’d absolutely book again.

Doug's place was one of those special places that allow you to enter another world. The house was bright and comfortable with views from every room -- even bathroom. It was so peaceful and enjoyable. Perfect place to walk around Alabama Hills and close enough to town. The kitchen worked great and really appreciated being able to bring my dogs and have the fenced-in area in the back. The house is thoughtfully decorated and very clean. Eastern Sierra has so much to offer, and I would certainly like to return someday to attempt Mt. Whitney. Learned a lot about local history at Manzanar National Historic Site and the century-old fight over the water rights. Drive up to the Ancient Bristlecone Pine Forest was so much more memorable than expected. I really treasured the week here. Thank you, Doug, for sharing your beautiful home.

Our family of 4 adults had a peaceful one nighter at Karen's Lone Pine abode. It worked great for our short stay, super clean, quiet, sweet neighborhood. Amazing surroundings of Alabama Hills, Mt. Whitney portal, etc., etc. We did an adventure day enroute to Mammoth for boarding and this overnight stay was just perfect for the base. Alabama Hills Cafe and Bakery walkable right up the street, delicious.

A favorite in Kernville! Dave and Erin are very attentive and welcoming. We are return guests and the home is always so clean, has all the amenities to feel at home. There are multiple trails nearby and eating spots to choose from. This is a lovely home!

We loved our stay at Gayle’s place. The house was really clean and organized. The instructions throughout the house were really clear and helpful on where to look for anything that we could possibly need. We specially loved the kitchen. We love cooking and we found all the spices and supplies that I could ever imagine while our stay there. The house is stuffed with anything any family would need at home. Just pack your clothes and you are all set. Highly recommend her place.

We stayed in the cabin as "base camp" exploring Death Valley National Park. We stayed in Pahrump the first night, headed into the park and camped for a night, then came back the next day to shower, restock, do laundry and get Mexican food before heading back into the park for 2 more days. If you're doing something similar, there is a cooler in the closet! (Had we known this we would have planned camp food differently.) The studio cabin is perfect for two people. We were only there for 3 evenings, but was super clean, comfortable, easy to find and get into, well equipped and exactly what we wanted. It's out on the edge of town, so plan to drive 10-15 minutes for food/groceries/whatever. If we're ever back in the area, we wouldn't hesitate to book again. Thanks!

As friendly of a host as anyone could ask for, made us dinner one night. We returned favor next. Clean, quiet, laid back fun environment. Felt at home. What more can you ask for!

I would absolute recommend this Airbnb. I was very pleasantly surprised by both the house and by Beatty. Like most guest I was looking for proximity to Death Valley. Beatty seemed as close as I could get without paying a fortune to stay in the park. Death Valley is huge so anywhere is a drive to the hiking trails. What I was not expecting was a really interesting town. Someone recommended the VFW for dinner as there are not too many restaurants in town. We liked it so much that we went back the following night. There, we met some of the locals who were really interesting and full of the background and history of the town (along with some town gossip) . The house itself did not feel nearly as small as it should given the square footage. We were very comfortable.

Betsy’s place was everything we wanted to and more! Location was perfect and very walkable to everything. It was quiet and clean. We’ll definitely be back! I’m sad I didn’t get to see the dog but my friends were able to say hi!

Absolutely perfect! I was on a trip to Death Valley, and it was the perfect location at just an hour away which is as close as you can get. The house itself was fantastic - spacious, spotless, and had everything you could need. Highly recommend.
