Family-friendly holiday rentals in Inhambane Province

The place is spacious and overlooking an amazing view of green palm trees and the ocean. We only took away positives from our stay.

Lovely place with large, quiet garden. Artur, the housekeeper was extremely helpful and attentive. The house is as described and well situated at a more quiet part of vilankulos. The pool was a quite green when we arrived, but Artur took care of it right away and we could use it from the next day on. Definitely good value for money, and definitely a recommendation! I'll stay there again when I come back!

The house is superb: beautiful spaces, charming decoration, warm rooms, fantastic views of the azure blue gradations of the sea…. Staff is available and considerate. Fred and Misha are available and accommodating. I would highly recommend this rental!! Thanks for everything

We stayed for a month at Gwen and Greg’s. The caretaker (Herman) was a legend and ensured a clean place, a friendly environment and good value fresh seafood from local fisher people. We found the view from the deck onto the mangroves excellent and think it more protected from wind and storms than beach views. Fans were provided as well as white goods and a very useful gas bbq. Security overnight was provided by a guard on premises. We went for walks and jogs each day to the beach which is both an easy walk or easy drive

Very comfortable place, quiet with a lovely outside area. Tasteful and well furnished. The mezzanine bed may not be suitable for all, and the outdoor bathroom was beautiful but not great in the rain! All in all, we loved it.

The house is situated on a hill with a fantastic view over Tofinho beach. Quiet and peaceful with beautiful garden. Katija is a very good host, communicative and flexible.

Absolutely amazing and definitely worth it! Lynn was so helpful with even the smallest questions. Thank you for going the extra mile and giving us advice at the border crossing to cooking crayfish. The staff at the house is very pleasant and more than willing to help. The house is beautiful, very spacious and has a great location! I will definitely be going back! ❤

We had a great time at Jonathan's. The house is very spacious and lots of very quirky rooms. The kids loved their rooms and they all were comfortable, airconditioned and most were en-suite. The view from the main living area is just a delight on the eyes. There is lots of couch space and the pool is spotless. The helper Vanencio was there to greet us and made sure the house was tidy and clean all the time. Honestly, we couldn't have wanted anything more. The beach by the house is probably our favourite stretch in Vilanculos and as a family holiday, this place just ticked all our boxes. Would definitely recommend and would certainly go again

Paradise found. Casa Oito a simple roff the grid beach home situated on Pomene Ridge with stunning views of sea and estuary. Everything functional, spotlessly clean and comfortable. Camp attendant Armondo cheerful, willing and hard working. Pat a super host deluxe who provided us with comprehensive info and kept in regular contact. A wonderful stay in a pristine piece of paradise. Highly recommended.

This AirBNB is magical. I wish I could live there. It's beautifully outfitted. I liked being close enough to the surf waves, but not right in town, which can be noisy. Excellent communication too, pro-active and practical. LOVE!

The stay at casa babi was great, good location close to everything, Antonio and rest of the staff were quite helpfull specially with helping organize activities for us. The dogs were very friendly and share a lot of love. Thanks for the experience Denis and Sabrina

This is our second stay at La Vida Jax and it lived up to expectations again - our biggest compliment is that we’ll go back again ( and again ! ) . Jaco was responsive and gave great advice. Juvencio and his team made our stay a real pleasure.

The villa is very clean, situated in a peaceful, quiet and beach near by. The view from the villa is exquisite, the rooms are cleans and spacious. The lodge is near the restaurants which are situated at the beach. And you can see whales when your in the Villa.. The host she is very much friendly..

Bibo Sands was honestly the best place we could have stayed at. There was in service cleaning everyday we were there, and William and his Wife were the best and most friendly hosts I’ve ever met. They were super helpful, so understanding and overall outstanding hosts. We did not have any problems in terms of the house itself you just really need a 4x4 to get there and for easy travel. It’s a walkable distance to the beach and the beach that is there is really nice, private and doesn’t not get too busy like Tofo. It’s also a very reasonable and affordable priced place for what we had and we had a lot. We will definitely go back to Bibo Sands every time we are in Inhambane. And a big Thank you to William and his Wife. They were truly the best hosts and overall great people. They texted us to make sure we would find the place alright and also advised us on the roads back when we had to leave. Great people overall. Thank you Bibo Sands!
