Great location, somewhat remote, close to Vouzela. The proximity of Ecopista (walking/biking trail) is a big bonus: you can walk to nearby towns through beautiful nature, cute houses and vineyards. The co-host, Fatima, was very helpful with advice, suggestions and recommendations. The house itself is beautifully renovated and furnished, and very clean.

Amazing location, we loved swimming in the river, kayaking and chilling in the hammocks. Gleb and Anna were really welcoming and helpful hosts. We'd love to visit again. Highly recommended

A week of rest and quiet! The house is equipped with the necessary for 4 people(we were 3), and the air conditioning made all the difference, on the hot days we had! It has an outdoor area with barbecue and large table in the shade, where we ate all the meals. In the area has good river beaches (Meimão, our favorite; Meimoa and Benquerença),and places of great interest to visit: Monsanto; Penamacor; Belmonte; Idanha, .. San Martin de Trevejo in Spain, etc. António Fidalgo is a very cultured person with interesting conversations. Always attentive to needs. We really like it and recommend it!

Otima Casa, my family and I were in an 8, everything was perfect, we would stay 2 nights, but it was so good that we decided to stay longer, we will definitely be back.😊

The villa is amazing! Plenty of bedrooms with storage and enough space. Numerous bathrooms. Very spacious living and dining. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need (coffee machine, utensils, toaster, etc.) The playroom is a huge plus for rainy days. The pool is cold, but perfect for cooling off, and once in it is lovely. We had a great vacation at this amazing house! There are beautiful river beaches nearby, beautiful viewpoints too. You have to love calm and nature because there are no big cities within an hour (the closest is Coimbra) but supermarkets 5 min away for shopping;) The house is 1.5 hours from Porto and 2.5 hours from Lisbon, ideal for a day trip:) Thanks to Karen and her spouse for hosting us:) You can book without a second thought!

Absolutely fabulous Place, everything you could need, very thoughtful touches. Better than the pictures. Peaceful chilled space but not far from Serta, for food and markets. Would definitely go back. Teresa was a wonderful host, great communication.

The hostess and family who welcomed us were extremely sympathetic and helpful, ensuring that we truly felt at home. We stayed at Olive Meadow Cottage over New Year, and it was a truly unique experience! The cottage itself is cozy, beautifully renovated, and impeccably clean. The kitchen was well-equipped for preparing meals, and the wood-burning stove provided much-needed warmth during the cold evenings. The outdoor space was a highlight, offering a serene spot to soak in the tranquility and marvel at the star-filled night sky. Lynn was incredibly welcoming and thoughtful, ensuring we felt right at home. If you’re looking for a peaceful retreat surrounded by nature, Olive Meadow Cottage is the perfect choice.

Pedro was extremely attentive, before and during his stay, he provided us with a lot of recommendations and was always very quick in response. The space itself is very cosy and well taken care of. It was an experience to repeat!

Perfect stay, with nothing bad to point out. Both Ms Ana and Mrs who received us were very friendly, attentive and always showed availability. In addition, the house was very clean and properly equipped, also has the balcony with a divine view of the mountains. A repeat experience.
