Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Ingleton

Lovely accommodation and well place for our places for the weekend, we were met by the owners who were extremely responsive and welcoming. The accommodation was clean and in a very peaceful surroundings, made for a lovely break!

A beautiful cottage and great host. Loved the little quirks each room had to offer. Parking was no problem and the cottage was easy to find thanks to the thorough guide Kev sent across. The cottage has a lovely cosy feel and had everything we needed. Thanks for a great stay!

Had a fantastic stay! The property was spacious, clean, and warm, with a beautiful bathroom and a well-equipped kitchen. The gaming room was a great bonus, perfect for relaxing and having fun. The location was amazing easy access to everything we needed while still feeling peaceful. Would highly recommend and would love to stay again!

Great spot for our family’s two week winter stay in Ulverston. Walking distance to pubs and restaurants, off street parking, warm, and felt at home. Highly recommend for a short or long stay. Friendly and responsive hosts. Thanks John.

We had a wonderful stay in Caldwell. Cottage was to a high standard with a very comfortable bed and high quality furnishings. Log fire was very welcome during a cold spell with an ample supply of logs, kindling etc. Lots of good eating places in the area which is handily placed between Barnard Castle and Darlington.

Perfect in all aspects... communication... fantastic, especially when we arrived in sub zero temperatures. house... idyllic, clean and so quiet facilities... I own a holiday let and thought I had peaked by supplying everything, including a pickled onion fork (ok you have to be of a certain age). I realise I need to up my game further now as Jackie has raised the bar so much higher.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Imogen’s. We’d come to Lancaster to explore a new city and the location of the house was perfect, a short walk from a beautiful park and memorial and only a 10-20 minute walk to the centre, also well connected by bus! Parking was right outside the door which was very convenient. For a long weekend, this was perfect- however with a lack of freezer it may be less convenient for long stays. Overall the house was tidy, although some things were missed such as the toaster had not been wiped (crumbs left on the top and around), there were items left from previous guests that had fallen slightly under the sofa and the trays in the oven hadn’t been washed. However these did not impact our stay and important things such as bedding and the bathroom were very clean. As a whole a lovely stay and even better with the recommendations Imogen gave to us about the city. Perfect for a couple or by yourself, would recommend and stay again.

Look no further. We’ve been regular visitors to Keswick for over 30 years and this accommodation is perfect for two people …. Great location, great facilities and spotless. Thank You.

We went to see Antony Gormley’s Another Place Lynne’s place is less than 5 minutes from the beach where the statues are. Perfect location for us and we were blessed with great weather

This is my 2nd stay here & I could not recommend the home or host more highly. Jules really went the extra mile with the Christmas decorations & the flat itself is not only fantastic but so is the location with great walks right on the door stop!

A brilliant base to explore the Lake District. The apartment is a lovely spacious size, and in a perfect location, just seconds from bars and restaurants. Comfy bed and very warm shower. Only improvements would be to provide tea/coffee and some shower gel in the bathroom. Would return. Thank you.

This place is stunning! It is even better than the photos! Quirky,modern and beautifully decorated. The bed is super comfy and the double shower was a big hit! The location is in the very centre so all shops, bars and amenities are a stones throw away. I will 100% be returning in the summer. The host was friendly, responsive and informative. An absolute pleasure to deal with :)

This was our second stay in Martin and Carmens lovely apartment and will definitely book again when we’re in Leeds. Wonderful friendly hosts and very comfortable and quiet place to stay with easy access to the centre of Leeds and surrounding areas.

Simon's place was clean and tidy with a cosy, homey feel! We had everything we needed for a 2 night stay. Even in the cold weather, the place was warm enough on mornings and evenings. The location is fantastic, only 5 min walk to the main street and so close many attractions. We couldn't get a parking space on the street, but as Simon mentioned the surrounding streets are also available. I would recommend this place to anyone wanting a cosy getaway in the lakes.

Me and my partner had an amazing stay here. The location was brilliant, so many lovely restaurants and pubs within minutes of walking, lots of good walks from Ambleside aswell so we didn't have to drive to starting points for walks unless exploring another area. The place was very clean, had all the basics you need. Host was very helpful and good communication throughout our stay. The apartment is in the basement part of the building, don't get much natural light in the living area or bedroom but this wasn't a problem for us as we were out most of the day - this then felt very cosy in the evenings when we stayed in. Good smart TV and very comfy sofa, ideal after a long day walking! fire place is a nightmare touch too:) Would definitely go back if visiting the lake district again!

Man’s communications were excellent and the stay was exactly what we were looking for. Given the location the price was extremely reasonable for the size of the property. Mak was even kind enough to gift desert which was delicious!

Incredible stay in an idyllic location and accommodation. Excelled our expectations..felt like we were in an film/dream house. Brilliant communication from hosts- accommodating to check in/check out. Very quick to respond when I couldn't work the tv-and filled up the log basket to the brim at the same time. Sauna and hot tub were brill. Kitchen very well equipped. The type of place you don't need to leave to have a great time. Highly recommend.

We stayed here for a weekend away as a group of school mates all turning 30. The property was the perfect base for us, providing us with the best possible experience. We’re an active, activity based bunch and this stay had something for everyone. Multiple activities, from the pool table, darts board, table tennis, air hockey, and yes the Pool and Sauna. Many of my friends couldn’t believe just what we had found for this stay. Private use of the pool is a great bonus. All beds were made, fresh linens and towels provided. We used the kitchen to cook our breakfast each morning. There’s ample parking for 3-4 vehicles inside and plenty on street right next to the property, which is a quiet street so not a stress. Whilst the decor is aged, we are not particular on this and found it added to the charm. Plenty of beds, bathrooms and spots to relax. We would stay again! The host was fantastic in communication and response to questions posed and made the whole process easy.

A wonderful half term long weekend with our teenagers. Super quiet location, but close enough to Lancaster to make a dash into the city easy. Smashing property with jus the right mixture of character and modernity. Will be back.

We really enjoyed staying at far Nook, ten minute walk to centre of Ambleside. Lovely accommodation, clean and spacious. Good quality, high standards. Upstairs double bed in front of house a bit too hard otherwise rest of beds comfortable. Good showers and bathrooms. Kitchen great social area, kitchen equipment good. Lovely garden area, although we didn’t use it because we explored the fells everyday. My parents loved sitting in the sun room at the front of the house while we were out walking. Great bedroom for them downstairs. My husband used the office space to work in a lot, which was great for him as this isn’t often found in accommodation. Wi-Fi good Really nice lounge area comfortable sofas and chairs and wood burner. Very homely. (Not over keen on furniture in TV room to big, uncomfortable and dowdy, didn’t use this room.) I’d certainly recommend this house. We had a wonderful holiday here and we would love to return and stay at Far Nook again. Thank you!

We had a great stay. The house was in a beautiful location, right on the estuary. Plenty of beach for walking. Beds were comfy and ample linen and towels were provided plus a great welcome hamper. The games room provided hours of entertainment and the hot tub was lovely for relaxing in after a busy day. The nearby rock park/quarry was a really interesting day out. We also enjoyed a meal out at the King William IV in Kirksanton. Jenny was a great host and was extremely welcoming and helpful. Would definitely recommend.

What a beautiful place to stay and relax! We had a lovely time the 6 of us with our newborn. Kitchen was great, fully equipped. Hot tub was such a treat! Electric car charging a real perk too to have onsite. We’d love to return one day and recommend this place a lot. Hosts were great and directed us to the property as there were some road closures when we arrived, they talked us through step by step and we were very grateful for this level of help. Highly recommended!
