Akarisou means ‘Light House’ I chose this name in the hope that this house would be ‘Light’ to my guests In the main bed room, you’ll find a wall decoration made of wooden lattice which is like ‘Sunshine’ There's a free parking lot in front of my house　(max size of the car: 4.5m×2.5m) , super convenient if you travel by car! A primary school is in front of my house so you can enjoy spacious view and nature of school ground from the veranda.

For making the guests have wonderful experience here, this guesthouse is designed and built thoughtfully. Please stay at Aduma and have a unforgettable time in Kyoto. There are a Japanese-style room with horigotatsu, a kitchen, a bathroom, and a toilet on the 1st floor. There are two Japanese-style rooms on the 2nd floor. You can relax here laying futons, Japanese-style mattresses and blankets, on the floor. (Futons are 210-cm long.) All rooms are clean and cozy.

They accommodated our family of six.♪ It was a very beautiful and stylish room, and I had a comfortable stay. I also asked for a🙆‍♀️ BBQ, but there were a lot of goods, so I was able to start right away!It was full of amenities, there were games🎮, and it was very comfortable. We stayed at Icy's house in Kyoto. Icy was very helpful and responsive. The house was as described and was very clean. The area it is located in is very peaceful, which we really liked. It has easy access to two stations on the Keihan line (with an easy change to then reach Kyoto station). There are little shops and restaurants nearby and the various areas of Kyoto are short walk or train ride away. We would definitely consider staying here again, as we would like to return to Kyoto to see more of it.

Our family of five loved this house. It is as per the photos and description. We had 2 people sleep upstairs and 3 downstairs in the main room. This left the dining room free to sit and look out into the Japanese garden. The house had everything we needed. We found the futon mattresses a bit thinner than expected but we got used to it by the end of our stay. The location was better than expected. A beautiful street filled with cherry blossom trees that were in full bloom during our 4 night stay. Easy walking distance to all the popular spots in the Gion district and also to train stations. We were lucky to also see a geisha walking along the same path as us one night! 7 Eleven and Family Mart at the end of the street. The location made early morning strolls really easy (before the crowds arrive). Highly recommend this beautiful house.

Our stay at Andrea & Mayumi's place was lovely. It's in a great location that's completely walkable to all the great attractions of Kyoto. Not to mention, we were there peak cherry blossom season, and sitting out on the balcony watching the stream flow and the flowers bloom was just beautiful. They provided everything that you could need for your stay, and the beds were the most comfortable ones that we stayed in during our 14-day trip to Japan! Really beautiful accommodation in Kyoto. Walking distance to a lot of stuff. In a more quiet area of town, but it felt very authentic. The hosts were very lovely and willing to help. I would stay in this area again in the future!
