The "chicken house"

The chicken house is located in the middle of the beautiful permagar, below a former monastery, on the Katzenhof in Bachhupten. Gabi and Guido live here their dream of independence and want to expand the farm in a sustainable and tedious way. For example, the walls and ceiling of the chicken house have been made from the more than 200-year-old floorboards of the main house. Our accommodation is a large, well-equipped attic apartment. In addition to a cozy bedroom, there is a living and dining room with a 2-person sofa bed, a reading corner, a modern bathroom, and a kitchen. From the bedroom you have great views of the Altshausen Castle. The location is central (various Shops, bakeries and restaurants within 5 minutes walking distance) and yet quiet area. You are welcome to use the garden. A beautiful swimming lake is within 10 minutes walking distance.

Beautiful, separate apartment in the attic in our detached house with beautiful views of the Dreiseenlandschaft. 200 m to the lake outdoor pool.A well-maintained hiking network, cycle paths and thermal baths invite you to get to know our area. Illmensee is a very good starting point for attractive leisure activities, such as the lake park with football golf and water skiing, which can be reached in 15 minutes. You can reach the Ravensburger Spieleland in about 30 minutes.
