Holiday houses in Idlewild

We were extremely pleased with our stay at Gull Cottage. We’ve been to Washington Island many times, but this was our first visit in November. Not too many tourists visit Washington Island this time of year, and most of the touristy sites are seasonally closed. No matter, we were here to celebrate Thanksgiving friends that live nearby. This house was warm and comfy, and the fireplace was wonderful on the cold nights! The location is perfect, with a wonderful view of the bay, large yard, plenty of parking space, and a five minute drive to the grocery store, coffee shop, and many food spots. Our next visit to Washington Island will include another stay here, if it‘s available.

We truly enjoyed our weekend, the house had everything we needed and the surroundings were picturesque and welcoming. We are looking forward to returning with the family during the summer months.

We had a wonderful experience at this newly remodeled Airbnb! The space was beautifully designed with a cute nautical theme decor. The house felt warm and welcoming, with extra blankets, fun games, and lots of space. The location was perfect, walkable to downtown Marinette. The hosts were incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay- even providing a dog crate and bowls! We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay and will definitely be back. Highly recommend this gem to anyone looking for a top-notch place in Marinette!

We had a terrible start to our holiday, and needed a last minute change from our original house. Found this place and contacted Rob, who responded immediately and set us up with the most beautiful, peaceful home. Everything was perfect. The heated floors, fire pit and well stocked kitchen made our family Christmas exactly what we needed. Would absolutely stay again!

This place was delightful , very comfortable, beautiful surroundings, right on Lake Michigan with all the comforts of home. The beds and bedding were very comfortable. Kitchen well stocked. Bathrooms very clean. Plenty of space and room. Overall it was very clean and tidy too. The location is close to towns and places for whatever you want to do such as shopping or getting into a nature park and trail. I was there in the fall and the colors were fantastic but this is a great place for any season.

The place was just right for our girls getaway. It had a great location right on the lake. Since it was late fall it was very quiet. Would love to come back when it is warm to enjoy the water. The place itself was wonderful, the picturea didn't deceive.

Everything was wonderful. Ryan was attentive and answered any questions we had. The condo is in a prime location. The bedrooms were perfect. we swam after the Fall 50 and it was so relaxing.

This is a great peaceful and very private place to stay. We feel very welcome and right at home staying here. The owners have been great and the cabin is so very well stocked with everything you could want or need.

Amazing aspiring place to be an amazing idea for family getaway definitely will be booking for next year. It’s a very calm and peaceful environment. A perfect environment to bond with your family experience new things, especially if you have a city life.
